Such a great place to stay! Amazing location especially if you’re there for the night life!! The rooms were so great. The beds with the curtains and lights were super comfortable and had great privacy- felt like a capsule hotel! Aircon worked great. £9 breakfast was so delicious! Cons: Not a social hostel. Interesting (strange) clientele. Not really fault of the hostel and just bad luck I suppose, but I would be remiss to mention- I ended up moving to a 8 person mixed dorm because the 4 person female dorm I booked had guests that were very visibly dirty and pungently smelled like fish and sh*t (stunk up the room). I asked to be moved immediately and was accommodated. I was not offered a refund (for the price difference), however, when I asked for free breakfast for the room downgrade + negative experience and was given it which I appreciated.

It was another great YHA hotel. Everything clean and tidy, not a lot of beds in a room. A very good reception area. They took care of my suitcase before and after for free so I could enjoy Manchester. Also the location is quite pretty. They have a lift too!

Nice place, not much cutlery but that’s the only gripe.
