The rooms are very clean and cozy. The balcony view was amazing. The service is extremely good and satisfactory. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is also very nice, the kandhari chicken and kaju masala combination was very tasty.

It wad a great experience with Casino ..since this is our 1st house boat experience. They had surprised us with candle light dinner and great food. The entire team is humble and very much responsible.

Place was peaceful, clean and comfortable. The location was great, near the beach and restaurants, with a bus to Alappay at the end of the road. Breakfast was fine.
Communications were a bit lacking. We asked if they did laundry, they said yes but we couldn't seem to actually get it done. Breakfast time was hit and miss.
There was a surveillance camera on a pillar two meters away pointing at our balcony, which seemed a bit weird.
To be honest we wouldn't stay there again, but that was just our experience.

Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way.
Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff.
Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment.
Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean.
Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.

Property is located in prime location.It is inside City.Rooms are very small & no ceiling fan.Room bed was mentioned as king size.But it was very small.Toilet was very neat & clean.Room service is very bad.Getting the required things we have to follow up multiple times.They have included multiple food in boffet breakfast.Taste was awesome.Overall I can give average rating 3 when we are comparing with other hotel experience.

First of all good, but no restaurant facilities. Good location, near to temple and also nearest locations for public transport. Towels are not providing almost in kerala. I don't kb-ow what is the secret in it.

Breakfast was delicious and substantial with an array of fresh fruit , omelette and Indian breakfast. Very filling and much appreciated to start the day.
Very clean and air con room and ample communal lounge areas to use. Having a kettle and tea/coffee/ water station was much appreciated. Offered fruit and cake on arrival was a lovely touch.
Biju also arranged a number of trips for guests though we had no time to experience, other guests gave excellent reports. Highly recommend you try this homestay in Alleppey.

Ttravel-travel-travelA magical piece of history - an authentic heritage hotel in the centre of Fort Kochi! We only wish we stayed longer. Charlotte was very helpful when we checked in, she provided information about things to do and recommended restaurants nearby, as well as showing us all the features of our room. The room itself was cosy, clean and opened onto a beautiful garden. The breakfast was simple but fresh. And don’t miss Mr Walton’s impressive personal library - lots of inspiration for avid book readers!

1. caretaker was very very friendly. He had called in advance to ask when we would check in, shared the number we can use in case of any need and also told us he will be out on the road if we need help to locate the property. we eventually did have to call him because the house is located beside a slope and it's from a level down to the road from the direction we came( the other side of the house it's located above the road). but as soon as we called he was out on the road and helped us. 2. One point to note is that we have to park the car on the road. The house required climbing stairs up/down, so we cannot take the car past the gate. 3. the bathrooms are very clean ( bathrooms are the biggest fear for me). Their shower was very very good and unlike most places in tvm located near the beach, the tap water was not hard water. it was soft. they have hot and cold water. Towels were also provided, so also soap and travel friendly size of shampoo and moisturizer.
4. you can hear the waves loud and clear. you can also see the waves from your porch etc. you can also see the Vizinjam mosque dome and minarets from he property. also the lighthouse is very close by and can be seen from the property. 5. The beach is super near. Everything is at walking distance. Breakfast offered was bread, butter/jam. so we opted out. Drinking water was provided. There are cupboards inside for storage.Chairs and a table too. There is a door between the bottom two rooms that can be locked or unlocked. Hence it's great for families security wise. Overall, it's reliable and worry free.

TThe Gatt ManAn awesome place to stay, a lovely family and great value rooms, clean, spacious and characteristic. Close to central Fort Kochi, all the amenities and sights to see are within walking distance, can also get to any of them for about 30-50 rupees. Nice size wet room, clean and functional. Food in the morning was superb. Thank you very much, we will be coming back!

GGuest UserRoom was clean, but room given to us had no proper ventilation. Breakfast options were limited but what ever server-ed it was good taste. Hotel is near to padmanabhaswamy temple, walking distance and other attractions points. Overall good experience.
