A classic Hi USA hostel. For 400 RMB, getting a bunk in the South Loop is something to be grateful for. The location is excellent: a bus stop is just across the street to the south, a metro station to the north, and Grant Park to the east. Most major attractions are even within a 20-minute walk.
The water dispenser is only on the second floor, which is quite inconvenient. Having to go downstairs every time to get water is a bit of a hassle.
The downsides are clear: the decor is a bit dated, and there are no bed curtains. Plus, it's right next to the elevated Loop 'L' train tracks, so the noise is noticeable. Those with poor sleep quality will have a tough time. Personally, I don't mind; it's part of Chicago's character.
There are lockers in the room for your belongings, just remember to bring your own lock. Each room has a sink outside the door, with separate bathrooms and toilets. The bathrooms are equipped with shower gel and shampoo, and amenities are restocked promptly. However, the shower water pressure in the room is insufficient. I also tried the communal showers, and the water pressure there was much better than in the room, making for a much more comfortable wash. The cleaning staff are efficient, promptly removing dirty towels and emptying trash cans. The front desk staff are very friendly, and you can ask them for fresh towels even late at night.
In summary: For 400 RMB, what more can you ask for from a bunk bed within the Loop?
The hotel’s facilities are complete. There is a computer reading room and a recreation room, as well as a convenient kitchen. There are very high-end dishes in the kitchen. The sanitary conditions of the hotel are also very good. I have not eaten breakfast here yet.

We had a great stay at Parthenon Guest House! The restroom facilities were very clean, and having 3 showers and 2 toilets for the women’s area was a huge plus—it really helped avoid any long waits in the morning. The room was just the right size for the four of us, cozy but comfortable. We also enjoyed the common area, which had a nice vibe and was a good space to relax. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay!

RRiveraThe hotel is extremely antiquated when you walk in how you could smell is still smoke it's just overwhelming other than that it's extremely clean if you can get past the smell even the rooms have a little bit of a odor to them that was extremely current price was good
JJoeIt has pretty cheap rooms and they allow pets to stay for free. They have good Wi-Fi as long as you're downstairs or near the office. And they have Smart TVs in every room.

GGuest UserI am grateful I was able to check in early, the gentleman at the desk made this possible; thank you. I traveled from California overnight and arrived early to Danville, so the early check in was extremely helpful. Also, I appreciate the gesture of kindness when a fresh pot of coffee was brewed for me. The room was clean and I had all the amenities I needed to make my stay comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, again thank you for making my trip a positive experience. I will return next month.
PPeterKA beautiful location next to the Rock River is the best feature of the hotel. The room was large and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The wifi worked well and there was coffee in the lobby. The front desk is not staffed 24 hours and the rooms are not cleaned every day, but neither is my house, haha. There is a bank and two restaurants sharing the parking lot but otherwise nothing is available within walking distance. A quick five minute drive gets you to anywhere in town.
