A hotel with a general appearance, but it feels good to me. First of all, the location is in the city center, very close to Bolivar Square. There are computers in the reception lobby for guests to use, free drinks, coffee, candy, etc. Although there are not many types of breakfast buffet, but the quality is very good, included in the room price, great value. Nice hotel, located in a really nice area of the city, felt really safe with lots of places to eat, drink and shop around. Msin tourist sights Plaza Bolivar, Montserate are a 20 min uber trip away.. Staff were professional although i mailed them before i arrived and got a reply after i left! Rooms are a bit old fashioned but perfectly comfortable. Breakfast buffedt was great plenty of options. Really liked the area that it is so worth a stay based on that

Wow! Now this is an amazing hotel! Incredible services and staff. From the minute you arrive you will be greeted by a representative that will help you with whatever you need. They also have hotel sponsored transportation. It costs 2X more than Uber but is safe and roomy. Basically, it is a Hyundai Santa Fe but rebranded for Colombia (XLV). The staff is amazing. Smiling the entire time and extremely helpful. They have a small jogging trail map to use but I would recommend doing some research before you arrive. Also on Sunday the street in front of the hotel becomes a two way street instead of a one way street. I had room 324 which had a small balcony that didn't really have a view but allowed me to get fresh air. The restaurant on the ground floor is fantastic and the surrounding area is really nice. A Dunkin Donut shop is just a block away and Zone G is a nice place to walk around. I felt completely safe, but use your street smarts. Don't be flashy and don't flash your phone. Great place to stay. Very pricey $$$$ but worth it if you can spoil yourself! Way to go Bogota and Colombia.

He constantly checked on me making sure everything was good. He helped set up my covid test. I also received friendly service in the hotel restaurant. Everyone was so friendly giving great service. The breakfast every morning was outstanding. This was my second time to stay in Hotel Andea Plaza and plan to return there again someday soon. I highly recommend Hotel Andes Plaza. The hotel is safe hotel and at a great location.

It's a comfortable hotel near the La Candelaria area, it has great beds and excellent staff members who are very helpful. It's a basic hotel, so don't expect a 5 star service. My only problem was the floor which made a lot of noise due to the old parket/wood floor. Extra tip: if you are too sensitive to street noise, inform the front desk and they will offer you a bedroom not facing the street. As for me noise is not s problem I had wonderful Montserrat view during Christmas and a nice balcony facing streets.

First of all, the hotel is in a great location, a quiet street close to many restaurants, pharmacy, little markets and a pretty park. You can walk everywhere and feel safe (you should always be aware of surroundings in all big cities). This place has the feel of a boutique hotel, with a small but comfortable lobby, with coffee, tea and infused water 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, with a super nice rain can shower head in the bathroom. We stayed for 3 days and it was perfect for us. It was 3 ladies, so comfort and safety was crucial to us. The staff was constantly helpful and friendly, I haven't received this type of hospitality anywhere else.

We had the twin room (601) which was spacious and well laid out - just as photos indicate. We appreciated the ample closet space, extra seating, the bar counter, and lots of counter space in the bathroom. We were always able to get ice for our room from the bar. The food selection at breakfast was better than most of the equivalent hotels we stayed in on our trip. The location was excellent as we could walk to a wide variety of restaurants for dinner. David and Jeff at the front desk and Yosman in the dining room plus the driver who picked us up from the airport (Leonardo Garcia) stand out for their good service and kindness. A possible negative for some people might be the distance from the Museums/art galleries/cable car but Uber is ever present, reliable, inexpensive. We enjoyed the drives to our destinations as we saw most of the city as drivers chose their preferred routes. The compensation for the travel is that the hotels in La Candelaria are in noisy congested areas and the El Dorado was silent at night.

We found this jewel on a previous trip and upon returning we decided to stay. The hotel has a great feel and has a privileged location a couple of blocks from Old Bogota Center Square. Built using two houses from the colonial and republican era this hosted is full of charm. We stayed at the Eco wing, the other is the colonial wing and the view from our window was superb. The room was spacious, although a little short on closet space but that no issue. As for the staff, very friendly and always available without being intrusive. The current concierge is charming and always available to answer questions and provide information.One big detail that surprised us was when we asked Edwin where can we find an exchange place. He not only gave us the location but offered to have a staff member to escort us. When was the last time that happened to you? The hotel has a very nice and breakfast is included. The location of the hotel is privileged to explore the city and its charms. Recommendation always verify the times because not always what you find posted is what they abide with. Security is tight around the hotel due to the fact that the Chancillery is across the walkway, which is a huge plus.

I love this place. I don't know why it's not more popular on TA. The location in Chapinero is terrific. The breakfast is fine. It's actually great for a budget hotel. It's within walking distance of Teatron and other *** clubs. It's the perfect place for sleeping, showering, and freshening up. Just the basics. Be sure to take a room with a view on a high floor! The only downside is there is no A/C in the room itself and the windows don't open. Wifi seems to always work fine.

Mi estancia en este hotel fue muy buena, estuvimos dos dias aqui. Quiero destacar la excelente atención que recibí, en particular por parte de la recepcionista Andrea. Desde el momento en que lleguemos, Andrea se esforzó por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda y agradable. Siempre dispuesta a responder a mis preguntas y brindar recomendaciones útiles. Su amabilidad y profesionalismo. En cuanto a las instalaciones, quedé impresionadp desde mi habitación hasta las áreas comunes, todo estaba bastante limpio y presentable. Las zonas comunes eran verdaderamente bonitas y agradables. Una de las cosas que más aprecio en un hotel es tener agua caliente tanto en la ducha como en el lavabo, y este lugar no defraudó en absoluto. Hay que jugar con las llaves, pero todo muy bien. Los desayunos son sencillos, pero buenos, y puedes repetir lo que quieras las veces que quieras. Las camas no son las mas comodas del mundo, pero se duerme muy bien. No hubo ruidos que no me dejaran dormir. Otro punto negativo que le pondría es la calidad del WiFi, que deja mucho que desear porque va y viene y es un poco lento, pero sinceramente no me afectó. Tal vez tendria que actualizar tambien las TVs porque no son smart, pero estuvo bien descansar y ver que habia de bueno por directv. En resumen, mi estancia en este hotel fue altamente satisfactoria, la limpieza muy bien, las instalaciones por dentros bonitas, la habitación es bastante comoda, pero mi recomendacion seria que paguen un poquito mas por la cama mas grande. En relacion por la calidad/precio definitivamente consideraría regresar en el futuro cosa que haré. Esta cerca de todos los museos y se puede ir caminando a todas partes, incluso al cerro de Monserrate. La zona de noche es como todo el centro de bogota, asi que eso ya no depende del hotel. Por lo que cuesta, la ubicacion, la atencion, la comodidad y el desayuno... Todo esta muy bien. Vayan si buscan algo con este precio, dudo que haya mejores por esa zona con ese precio.

I had a large room on the top floor with a big walk-in shower and comfortable bed and nice desk for working at. Great variety at breakfast time from croissants and bread to fruit with very nice coffee either from the pot or a machine. Actually the machine was one of the better ones! Super friendly staff and the airport pickup I ordered was super easy and good value. Gym on the terrace floor is small but I was the only one ever to use it. Outdoor terrace has great views and can get windy so maybw that's why it's not used much either.

I was visiting family in Bogota, Colombia. On my way back home, our Delta flight from Bogota to Atlanta was canceled due to mechanical issues. Delta distributed letters to passengers covering hotel, meal and trasnportation. I was assigned to Aloft Bogota airport. After hours of frustration and chaos at the airport due to the cancellation, upon arriving at this Aloft Bogota hotel, the reception employee Sebastian Beltran instructed us to go to lunch and wait until 3 pm to check in. Explained to him we were there due to cancelled flight, exhausted and with lugagge (promise I did it with good manners). He replied to me asking me to go to another hotel if I didnt like their policies (here of course I got upset and asked him not to talk to me on that rude way and being considered and respectful, then he just ignorned me). After that unexpected rude behavior, I called to the hotel La Fontana where I stayed in Bogota before the flight cancellation. They were really kind and accomodated a room for me at last minute with an special price. Of course, I left Aloft Bogota Airport hotel for La Fontana immediately! I also complained with Delta about this behavior from this hotel staff.

Nice public dining area to work at with sunlight and high table. However, the room facing the street is extremely loud since the hotel is at a busy neighborhood intersection. When I asked the front desk to see if there’s anything not facing the street available, the front desk said: no it’s not noisy, there’s not cars here (not true) and enjoy the “ocean view”! via google translator (maybe the tone is lost in translation, but NO ONE spoke any English there, so don’t expect any help if you don’t speak Spanish.) There’s also not any ventilation in the room. Wifi was fast and worked for my computer, but it kept disconnecting from my phone. Expect the facility of a 2 star property (not as listed at 3).

Horrible customer service from the moment I got to the hotel the cleaning lady told me I wasn’t really welcome with my dog even though I spoke with the admin over the phone before making the reservation…. The admin offered me an early check in since I got to Bogota early however when I got there the room wasn’t ready either. Then they tried to charge me $90 for my pet for which at that point I decided to cancel. The app wouldn’t let me so when I spoke to the admin he said he will do it on his end and mark it as a now show. Next day he didn’t so I contact him again for which his response was: this is not my responsibility it’s yours and I’m not going to do this for you! A man of no integrity ofcourse and the owner over the phone was also very rude By the way but that’s another story. I think this hotel used to have good reviews but by all means avoid it!

The hotel is very close to the airport, it is a good option if you need to make connections from one day to another, staff attention is excellent, is located in a very quiet area, make daily amenities, WiFi is good. The room was very small, it was almost occupied by bed, breakfast options were quite limited, only eggs or sandwich, away from tourist sites.

Dirty bathroom, hair in the shower, damaged furniture. Dirty looking stained walls. No hand and foot towels, just one large towel. They placed the little that was left of 2 rolls of toilet paper, which made one want to give one to the hotel. Poor quality television signal. The reception service on the night of December 12, AWFUL. In the corridor and adjoining rooms other guests made a huge noise; even yelling profanities and obscenities. When calling the reception they hung up the phone and did not answer. Being after midnight, the lady finally attended me, with the excuse that the signal was bothering me. You could clearly hear her picking up the speaker and hanging up every time she was called. I went for a business trip as I had to catch a flight the next day. I spent the night almost awake. I asked for the invoice and they told me that they would send it to me by email. I'm still waiting for her.

A grand old hotel in the heart of Bogota. Retains lots of character and charm. Good position for exploring the center of the city. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. We would recommend the excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel is single glazed and the noise of traffic is clear in the early morning especially. Not ideal for light sleepers. Some of the 'glory' is a little faded but we really liked staying here.

My stay at Ibis Museo was very enjoyable. First time in Bogota. The hotel is about 25 mins away from El Dorado Airport and check in was very smooth. My spanish is very basic but the staff was very patient and answered all of my questions. It is conveniently located right next to Museo National and within walking 15-20 mins walking distance to the La Candeleria area and all the museums in that area. Theres a 24 hr La Rebaja Plus that is less than 5 min walk away from the hotel and a mcdonalds less than 5 min walk in the other direction if you need something familiar. The room service came every day with fresh towels and the security was Always outside scoping the area which made me feel pretty safe. Would def recommend and will return 👍

While it's a Holiday Inn ”Express”, it's a great hotel: Clean, modern looking and with extremely, helpful staff. I stayed in a ”Suite” with a king bed. The room was clean, modern and with the necessary toiletries in the bathroom. The room overlooked one of the main streets, but it was very quite, even though I was on the 2nd floor. Breakfast was basic, with pastries, fruits and cereals. Nothing fancy. I believe you could order eggs. What is really amazing about this hotel is its very friendly and helpful staff. More about that below. There are a few restaurants in the area, but many close early (by 10 pm) on weekdays and on Sunday. I was caught off guard on a Sunday night. Nothing within walking distance (or even short distance by cab) was open after 10 pm. On the Sunday when restaurants close early, the only option you seem to have it to order and use the Rappi app for delivery, That too, can be a challenge since almost all the places stop delivery after 11 pm and a handful stop delivery at 12 midnight. I had a challenge trying to register my credit card for payment on the Rappi app. The front desk clerk was a godsend and helped me with this. As I was checking out, a staff member of the room cleaning staff ran down to hand over on item I had forgotten in the room. That is true dedication and great service!
