|7.89km from city centerOver the course of nearly two weeks, fluctuating numbers of my immediate family stayed here while my mother was hospitalized at Sanford Medical Center. While the proximity to the hospital made it the logical choice, it was the flexibility of the staff that, in retrospect, made it a wise choice as well. Front desk staff were so kind to help us consolidate rooms, cancel reservations WITHOUT PENALTY for nights that we no longer needed, and just generally get to know us and let us know that they were thinking about us. In particular, Misty Blue gets a huge shout out for being such a kind, caring front desk staff member. She sort of adopted us and asked how things were going, let us know that she was thinking about us, and just generally was a wonderful human being. On a lighter note, the hotel bistro/bar was great for a quick breakfast before heading to the hospital or a nightcap after a stressful day AT the hospital. The beds were comfortable too-including the rollaway cot that I slept on one night.

|6.43km from city centerThe bed was very comfortable. Scaled back service for Covid. The TV had a short, but I chose to leave it be and reported it for maintenance after we left. Street noise was loud after 8 am, walls thin. Interesting long, thin glassed-in shower. I would stay there again, but would make sure the TP is stocked and the TV worked before unpacking. They are only doing room cleaning every 3 rd day. Breakfast free, though is all carbs. No gluten-free free options except yogurt. Parking spaces were very narrow, more for tiny cars. Easy access to stores, restaurants, and the freeway. Nice lobby where I noticed a family playing a game.

|6.11km from city centerThe city of Fargo is said to have the lowest prices in North America. If the Red Roof INN is placed in other cities, it is estimated that it will cost 800 yuan per night. The prices here are really low.
But it’s also very simple. Don’t even think about slippers and toothbrushes. They are not available in North America, but it’s not surprising that disposable shampoos are necessary. Fortunately, I always use my own.

|4.02km from city centerThis was a great hotel. It has large rooms that are very clean and well maintained. Everything's inside with hallways connecting the entire hotel. It has an awesome pool that is heated and indoors. Breakfast was great they had lots to choose from. They also have a laundry available to the guests. Definitely a place we would stay at if we're ever in the area again.

|6.33km from city centerI always love staying at Residence Inn properties, and have stayed at this one in the past. However, I have never had a worse stay at a Marriott property than this one. Even in some other hotels of theirs in more rough or rural areas where the hotel isn’t in the best shape, at least the staff has been a bright spot. No such luck here. The man working check in the afternoon of March 10th was the worst check in agent I’d ever had. Hardly greeted us, did not acknowledge or thank us for being Marriot gold elite status, did not offer welcome gifts (which were clearly in gift bags behind him), did not mention details about breakfast, pool or fitness center hours or location, did not indicate if housekeepers would be servicing the room for the length of our stay. I asked if we could have a room on the fourth floor where we had family staying and he barely acknowledged the request, did not confirm one was available after checking the system - just activated key cards and wrote the room number down silently before pointing us towards the elevators. The other odd thing was every time we dealt with someone at the front desk, they seemed to have a silent trainee shadowing them - never spoke or had their presence acknowledged. I feel bad for the information they would be receiving. The rooms at 10 years old are showing more wear than I would expect. Our room was ok for being clean, but our family members room was very dirty and the coffee maker in the kitchen did not work. The lobby furnishings are in back need of replacement - especially the stools at the high top near the breakfast area. Perhaps the strangest problem was with the hot tub - so more accurately the room temperature tub. This thing had GREAT jets and would have been top 3 hot tubs we’ve ever had if only the HEAT worked! I didn’t say anything to the hotel during our 3 nights there, as I was sure a survey email would follow as usual, but a week later it has not. Avoid this one.

|3.23km from city centerI usually don’t expect much from extended stay hotels but was pleasantly surprised at this one. When I called for a shuttle, they called a taxi to pick me up and of course that was paid for by the hotel in place of a shuttle. Was checked in fast to a very clean, very nice room. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. Had an early flight when I did leave and was carried to the airport without a wait. Will stay here again if I go back.

|6.82km from city centerThis was a trip for a family funeral. It served our needs well. I had stayed there 4 years ago. It doesn’t seem like it has been kept up very well - definitely sighs of aging.
There was an advertised “dinner” in the lobby in the early evening; it was chicken nuggets, iceberg lettuce with dressing, and potato chips. I think a “happy hour” with things like chips/salsa, cheese/crackers, veggies/dip might be more appealing.
The breakfast was better than expected - the best we’ve seen since our limited travels the past pandemic years. Wasn’t fancy, but it was ok.
Front desk staff was very helpful.
A serviceable hotel, at a reasonable cost.

|5.62km from city centerDue to being stranded in a snow blizzard we had to get to the closest Hilton. Thankfully just 2 blocks away! On a busy Friday night, was able to book on the Hilton app and check in within 2 minutes! At check in they gave me toothpaste and toothbrush. My toddler was given 2 ducks… she loved them! This Hilton was so hospitable, comfy beds, comfy cozy room, quiet room even on a busy Friday night …so thankful! Even with the struggles, of a fire alarm and no usb plug ins in the room, this hotel was the best stay with Hilton Hotels in a long time! Appreciate the professionalism of the staff and housekeepings excellent cleaning! The Best Hilton in Fargo!

Fargo
|4.16km from city centerMust agree with ”BURN IT DOWN” and ”SLEEP IN YOUR CAR” reviews! Welcome to the little hotel of horrors! This hotel was suppose to be our last sleep on our way home from a family road trip. Every hotel room we had stayed at along the way had been checked by my husband beforehand to make sure the room was clean, this time though it was 11 pm and we had been driving all day. The outside appearance seemed good (in the dark) so he went ahead and booked a room. We hauled our things up to the room just to find dog hair and little garbage all over the floor, something smeared on the wall and the mirror. I didn't need to look further, we decided to see if a cleaner room was available. After some time trying, my husband managed to flag down some of the rude front desk staff and they gave him a card for the room right next door. After trying the card a few times the door opened and another guest said ”you got the wrong room”. As he said this I heard a loud bark and decided I should probably wait in our room while my husband tried to explain this was the room number we were given. Before I could take the three steps back into our room, the dog had squeezed it's way out and lunged straight at me! I instantly pushed him off but he chomped down on my hand!! The next minute was a bit of a blur as I wasn't sure who got the dog off of me and the next thing I remember doing was getting our boys back into our room for safety as I did not know where this dog was and by now my daughter has locked herself into the bathroom and is crying in absolute fright! After a moment I went downstairs to tell the staff what had happened and nobody would take responsibility for the error. Then the dog owners came down and apologized, though the room mix up wasn't their fault the dog should have been restrained with a harness. They assured us the dog had rabies shots up to date. We do not know if the dog was cleared to come in or snuck in a back door. We left in frustration and continued our drive toward home discussing what action should be taken. My hand was swelling and had multiple punctures and one longer gash about 3/4” long. When we arrived in Grand Forks we decided that we would ask the advice of the authorities. They recommended seizing the dog till proof of shots was provided, the family did not have any, so the animal was taken in to monitor for ten days. As i write this review we are nearing the end of the ten days praying that rabies treatment will not be necessary. We read many hotel reviews before booking and if we had read all the warnings for this hotel we would never have stayed.

|6.36km from city centerAfter driving 12 hours I booked this Motel 6 as an overnight stopping place. I stay at a lot of Motel 6s because I road trip with my dog a lot...this one was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at PERIOD. The owner and manager should be ashamed of themselves for not taking better care of this place. Zero pride in their work and zero interest in customer satisfaction. My room was beyond filthy and it smelled AWFUL. The floor was filthy, the walls were disgusting and dirty and it looked like someone had thrown an entire cup of coffee at the wall at one point and and it was never cleaned up...the tub had so much mold in it I would not touch it. I have zero confidence that the sheets were clean, ZERO. I had some clean towels in my car and laid them across the pillows so my face would not be touching them. Overall just GROSS. So many gross things on the walls and furniture too. Has this place ever been cleaned?? I slept for 4 hours and then got the heck out of there. I didnt even shower because the tub was so gross and moldy. I stay at a lot of Motel 6s and even though they are not fancy, they are usually pretty clean. This one of the worst places I've ever stayed in my life. I will be contacting corporate to report it. There should be a basic level of cleanliness met to even use the Motel 6 name. What an awful place.

|5.95km from city centerStaying in this hotel is like being in an upscale northern hunting lodge. The décor is so unique and rustic. A very kid friendly place with great staff. The pool area continues the lodging theme with cool looking props (toadstools and tree trunks) and a water slide. It may be $10 - $20 more, but it is worth it. Great location to shopping. A full breakfast buffet, including great waffles. A greeting event with snacks, great beds and a quiet sleep. The family will enjoy this hotel, it is an experience!

|5.28km from city centerExcellent hotel with an excellent location near the Shopping Center, restaurants, and Scheels. The fantastic pool area is family-friendly, rooms are extremely clean & comfortable. Lovely lounge (the lounge had a couple hours of live music, which was an unexpected surprise.) Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. The housekeeping staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

|3.52km from city centerAt first glance it appears dark and dingy and outside of the hotel could do with the grounds tidying up. It appears like this on the inside due to it having internal hallways with room windows not facing the outside. Once in the rooms it is quite large and comfortable with plenty of desk and cupboard space. Some rooms have access to the outside (at extra cost) with a balcony. It is an older style interior but it is well maintained and reasonably clean. It has a garden in the middle of the hotel with tables and chairs which is quite nice. Don't expect any breakfast the only option is a go bag with some protein bars and a piece of fruit, the breakfast room is blocked from all but staff. It has a bar on the premises which accessible to people outside of the hotel.

|4.22km from city center

|4.09km from city centerThe place is more than a little run down. The bathtub filled 8” deep during my shower and took more than hour to drain. I reported this in the morning to the front desk, my intuition tells me they won't do a thing. So, I was able to connect to wifi without issue, there was not internet access. I asked the front desk about this and the response was ”it comes and goes depending on how many people are streaming”. I had no internet access my entire stay. In the morning, I asked the day front desk personnel about the issue, they insisted there was none. I had four different devices that had cycled power (blah, blah, blah) that had no internet access for my entire stay. Miraculously, when almost every one was gone for the day, as I checked out, I was finally able to get internet access. I resent the front desk insisting this is not a problem at all. I expect the bathtub to fill up again for the next guest. Book your stay elsewhere.
