The Crown and Thistle

Review for the restaurant: We live locally and wanted a family meal with our visiting grandmother. She is in a wheelchair and in poor health (she cannot eat much), so we were worried about her having a good time. We did not need to worry. Our wonderful waitress spotted us struggling to push our Nan in the wheelchair over the cobbles and offered to help us carry it in. She then treated us like royalty for the evening: this included getting a better chair and a comfy cushion for her (we didn't ask), anticipating every need, a carry box for her left over meal-although she ate more than she would normally-, and kindness you couldn't buy in the poshest restaurant. The food was delicious across all six meals and desserts. Finally, our waitress helped us exit at the end of the evening, using a better door that led straight onto the street. 'Next time you come, just call us and we will open this door for you again.' We will be back very soon. Thank you lovely waitress and staff from all the family.
Courtyard Oxford South

The hotel is 18 kilometers away from Oxford and 30 kilometers away from Bicester shopping village. It is very suitable for driving. The hotel is high-speed when going out. Both of these places are within half an hour. The hotel provides free parking. Relatively new, space is absolutely ok in the UK! There is no additional charge for bringing a child!
