The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

Nice comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Beds are very cosy, slept well. Good desk in the room to work from however the Internet is very poor in the room making it difficult to do more than send basic emails. Not good enough speeds for netflix for example and any websites with high security don't work because the signal keeps cutting. However in the lobby it is fine. That's the only let down really. All else was good. Like the heater in the bathroom!

The bedroom is spacious and heating bars in the toilet is excellent. Love the cleanliness of the room and hotel. Nice service staff in the breakfast room. The guy opened up the buffet breakfast at 6am for us, 14paxs to pack our breakfast for our onwards early journey to Paris. Tqvm ya🥰🙏. Strategic location, just beside the train station.

I have stayed at this hotel more than 5 times! I chose it because it was cheaper. If it is not in the city, it is not far away. About 10 minutes walking distance from lelylaan or the station. One stop to the airport and two stops from Central Station. There is a tram stop 5 minutes walk to the city. The supermarket is far away, and there is a small supermarket in the train station. If you want to find a big supermarket, you can take the tram to the downtown area, or walk for another 5 minutes at the train station. There are two supermarkets over there. The room is a domestic 3-star standard. If you have a limited budget and don't want to stay in a hostel, come here!

The hotel was fine. Clean and tidy, and the kitchen had everything you needed. It was easy to get into the centre. We booked as it said a 2 bedroom apartment, however it was not 2 bedrooms. It was open plan. One bed was near the kitchen and the other near the entrance door. There was no window to let some fresh air in, and you could not control the heating so it was too warm especially at night. The terms and conditions said that they charge €250 for any damages or if you smoke in your room, this was not the case. They put a €300 charge on your card until you check out (which still hasn’t been refunded). I didn’t have an extra 300 euros so it was lucky that my friend could afford that. So be prepared when you go, as the people who checked in before us had the same problem.

(+) The New Kit is located right on the side of a metro station which was perfect to go to RAI as intended. The hotel is new (or renovated), basic but confortable. No services except breakfast. Staff was very friendly. (-) To my surprise, I got an ”internal” room with no-window. This was very disappointing but apparently it was what I booked, although I didn't notice it then. As far as I could see, there are quite a lot of no-window rooms so maybe you want to check this when booking. Apart from this, the hotel was ok.

The Hotel is quite far from the center, but it is 50 m from a metro station, so consider the price of public transport (which is not cheap in Amsterdam). The hotel is nice, it has a nice common area. The room is not very big, it does not have a minibar, it has air conditioning and the blackout curtain is not so efficient in blocking the light. The bathroom is a little uncomfortable because the shower curtain is made of plastic and water leaks in all the corners, they could use a glass shower.

The room was well furnished, the bed was reasonably comfortable (although we had to both ask for another pillow as they were quite flat). The bathroom was huge - and they provided you with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc. and a hairdryer. The room was tidy and kept clean each day, (although sometimes not fully restocked - for example not enough tea bags/toiletries refreshed!). It had a Nespresso machine (although instructions would be handy as it took us a while to sort boiling water out!) The location was close to a few supermarkets - one next door, (handy since you have a fridge in your room), a few cafes, a bar and a few places to eat. Its a 2minute walk from a tram/bus stop which took you into the centre in 15-20 minutes. They also had bike hire there for a reasonable price, so you could use that to get into the centre. The staff were friendly and I would highly recommend for the price!

My girlfriend and I stayed one night in the center parks room 1.07. This hotel concept is really interesting, not only for the fact that every hotel room is unique and designed by notoriouse hotels around the world, but the whole hotel is run by students majoritly under the age of 24! Very proffessional, I was welcomed warmly at the recpetion where I had to fill out standard form regarding registration and coronavirus. The room was VERY clean and this made me feel confortable (especially in the current times). The bed was very confortable and I was greatful to be able to relax infront of an ambiance fire place. I did find the design of the shower slightly unfourtunate due to the fact that it was very hard not to get any water outside the shower. Our complimentary breakfast was deliciouse, with a range of pasteries available, scrambled egg an orange juice and a hot chocolate to start my day off perfectly. The service was a bit slow in my opinion, especially that we were only 2 guests in Les Saveurs, however, we were informed by the manager of the department that they were understaffed and apologized for the wait. Check out went very smoothly, Oliver, Stefan and the rest of the lovely reception team really cared on how my stay was and if I had any comments to say about the room. I would like to thank Hotelschool The Hague for this wonderful experience and hope that many after me will be able to enjoy a stay in your beautiful hotel. Nico

Trust me you will not be disappointed. The hotel is clean and modern. The hospitality is beyond amazing. The friendliest front desk that is available 24/7. Location is spot on. Train station, including busses, metro etc across the road and no more than a 5 minute walk. Was 1 stop to get into the centre of Amsterdam and very easy to navigate the public transport to venture into different neighborhoods as well. Me and my friend booked this hotel as there were good reviews, which is very important to us as we came from Norway to stay there for 6 days. It was also our first time in Amsterdam and were not familiar with the location. We were first checked into a wrong room than the one we had booked, and were told that we could move the next morning to another one. After we were moved to a bigger room, they told us we had to pay 50 euros due to the ”cleaning from the other room”, which we expect to be included in the price we already paid for our stay. Never experienced this before. Some staff don't smile, don't say hello, and looked strange at us when we walked through the reception. The next days our new room was not cleaned at all, one day they only came to make the bed, the next day they only came with new towels on the door. One day the cleaning lady also rushed in without knocking while we were in bed, which we thought was very unprofessional. We did not feel comfortable or safe at all staying here. We will not be going back here. Location is also pretty far from the centrum

Lovely looking hotel, SOME great staff. Nice rooms. When we arrived the two people on reception were nice enough but laughing with each other at some sort of personal joke or maybe us god knows just wasn’t very professional . I was told I had to pay €67.00 tax charge and asked why as this is my first time in Amsterdam I was not made aware of this on my booking and she basically said you just do. Ok then! Room was stinking badly of body odour when we got in that lingered for the first two days so we opened the window. I found Silverfish in the room yuk not what you want to find in a hotel room. Would not say I’d go back although it is a nice looking hotel. It has so much potential with proper management

Super hotel with super location to Sloterdijk train station, 10 min walk and you are there. Unfortunately no possibility for the breakfast buffet, our onward journey was so early that the chef prepared breakfast packages for us! Super nice!!!! And super great rooms, perfect for families - with cooks and everything you need, including a dishwasher!

Where to begin? This is a hostel, so you are sharing with 10 other people. Think long and hard about that before you book. Do you snore or make other nocturnal noises that will keep others awake? Maybe look elsewhere. I mention this because yesterday I checked in this hostel hoping to spend the night. It's got great friendly staff. On the whole it's clean and tidy. Result for a cheap night. Went off out in the evening, found something to eat. It was all going well. Then it was time to sleep. I'll be honest the weather is warm, so the room was warm, not a deal breaker at this price range. I was on my bed by 10 and ready to sleep, a few members of the room already in bed, one snoring. At midnight after everyone else came in, did their thing I had to get out of bed to turn off the lights for them. It was after this with some dark it becomes apparent that the snoring wasn't going to stop. Eventually I got up maybe half two. Went to the reception, got a beer. I was asked if everything was ok. I explained about the snoring, and was shown the TV room by the receptionist. I was overjoyed. A quiet and cool room to rest. I finally found some sleep in the TV room. So I'd imagine if the folk you're sharing with aren't snorers this could be a perfect way to see some of Amsterdam. Once again big thanks to the receptionist team. Really appreciate your help and thoughtfulness.
