We recently stayed at JW Marriott Anji after visiting friends, once arrived at the hotel late ,as we did not plan staying over in Anji we did not bring milk for our twin sons, after calling guest service we learned that kitchen was closed already so Jasmine from front desk mentioned that she bought milk for herself and was offering to send it to our room… long story short .. our little boys were happy ad did sleep well.. parents were happy.. thank you Jasmine for going the extra mile and making our stay enjoyable… we will be back for sure

Overpriced family hotel with outstanding views but room for improvement. I reserved the room a week before arrival, which meant the room rate was almost 2000 RMB a night. At this price, I was expecting excellence and arrived to mediocrity. I travelled with a Chinese friend and when we arrived, although the room was booked in my name, they chose to speak to my companion. When I tried to speak, the staff smiled condescendingly and then continued to talk to my friend. I was surprised to receive xenophobic behaviour in modern China, especially since I can converse in Chinese and there are many translation and AI chatbots to assist with communication. We walked to the room and on inspection we discovered the door hinge was broken, dust and hair on the floor, hair on the mattress which was accompanied by a yellow stain (photos 3-7). As the staff couldn't communicate in English, I messaged Trip.com and decide to resolve the issues the following day. The staff had been informed of the poor quality of the check-in and the cleanliness of the room and offered to upgrade us to their sister hotel, Banshanyinzhu Resort. The view from the room (photo 1 & 2) was stunning and the room looked pristine how on inspection the room had not been deep cleaned since either its construction or refurbishment with dust in the high shelves, on the shower head, sawdust behind the bedhead, leftover building materials under both sinks (photo 8-11). We informed the hotel, as we had been given a WeChat, and they came to witness the simple inspection. They offered to move us again but as this was our last night and we chose to stay based upon the views and then went to dinner which the hotel offered as part of compensation for the previous night. Arriving at the restaurant, uncleanness was concurrent theme (photos 12-14) with the dishes not being clean and the lazy suzanne not being wiped down. Fortunately the completely meal for two was well portioned and seasoned (photos 15-18). After a filling and tasty meal, I had a shower and felt a slight pain on my foot to discover that the nails attaching the carpet protruded through and some flooring was broken causing a minor scratch. All of this could have been avoided had the staff been more diligent. Did I overpay? Yes Was the service mediocre? Yes Are these challenges easy to overcome? Yes Have other customers made similar complaints? Yes Will the hotel improve? I hope so Is the location memorable andbeautiful? Yes Would I revisit? Yes Regardless of the fact they have some untrained and unprofessional employees and they need to improve their cleaning standard and ensure that maintenance does a proper inspection after a fit and finish, the location is great and it's very easy to get into the park. It's very family orientated and I'm sure children could make lifelong friends here. If you're considering going, I'd highly recommend price watching. It's not a perfect product so don't overpay, like I did, and expect a 5☆ experience.

When I checked in, I asked if I could have an extra bed. The lady who checked in directly upgraded me to a parent-child room, which was great! The next morning I took a walk and the air was really fresh. It was a pity that my child was not feeling well and did not go to the hot springs. Breakfast is average, not much variety. It’s not very convenient to eat. You can’t even order takeout. You can only go to the county town. It takes about 20 minutes to drive there. The room is okay, but the bath water is not very hot.

Location at the end of a tea hill valley within nature is very beautiful . Service and food are very good and staff is lovely, also with the kids. It can be the perfect getaway for some night/long weekend. BUT ! Currently (beginning of October 2023) there is a lot of ongoing construction in the hotel area. In total three construction sites with heavy impact on view, piece and quiet of the countryside hotel. Especially the rooms/villas located on the hill are impacted. Hotel staff was lovely to find a solution and alternative room. Rooms in the main building are less/not impacted from noise, but didn’t fit perfectly our needs as family of four and they are lacking the Mountain view (construction view). Looks like construction will last for a while… Hotel management should be transparent and inform in advance about the ongoing construction. After construction is finished it can be paradise again…

A great check-in experience. The hotel's service is great. Before check-in, the housekeeper Xiaoyan contacted me and informed me of the hotel's services. When you arrive at the hotel, there will be someone to carry your luggage. After checking in, a waiter will carry your luggage and take you to the room. , you don’t have to go out during your stay of 2 nights and 3 days. You can have all the food, drinks and entertainment at the resort, soak in hot springs, play table tennis, play games, visit the Tea Expo, taste white tea, and have all three meals at the Shuixieju Chinese Restaurant in the hotel, with a sumptuous breakfast. After eating well, you can get free fish food at the front desk, feed fish, ducks, and swans, and you can also extend the hiking trails and stroll among the tea mountains and bamboo forests... Finally, I want to talk about the hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service. Thank you to the housekeeper Xiaoyan! Will come next time!

After reading a lot of reviews, I was still a little worried before going there, so I decided to write down my personal experience for your reference. In terms of service, the housekeeper Rose is very attentive and thoughtful. I am very satisfied and solves the problem very quickly. In terms of hotels, 1. Going to the hotel is still a hassle. I feel a little tired because I am used to the pace of vacation. First, I have to drive to the foot of the mountain. There are 6-7 kilometers of self-driving roads that are relatively small and difficult to drive. Then, after arriving at the reception center, transfer to another bus. Although the shuttle bus and cable car took the hotel VIP channel throughout the journey, it was quite tiring to be honest. 2. You need to pay an additional cable car ticket to go to the hotel. We paid 950 for the 2 adults and 1 child. I think this is unreasonable. We obviously only go up and down, but Xianyu only costs 180 for a round trip for a day. To be honest, it is not cost-effective to book a single room with Ctrip , I asked other tourists that when they bought it in the live broadcast room, they brought ropeway and ski tickets, which was a lot more cost-effective. Ctrip does not have a package with ropeway tickets, so everyone should compare prices, and don’t just look at the room cost. 3. Let’s talk about the advantages of the hotel. We went skiing with our kids. When we stayed in the hotel, we could go skiing as early as possible and enjoy the less crowded ski resort. When we were tired from skiing, we went back to the room to rest. We continued skiing in the afternoon. After skiing, we could go back to the room to rest. This It is really convenient for families with children, and it is also a place that I think is particularly worthwhile. 4. Finally, as for the complaints on the Internet, the floor heating is not hot, and the food is rare and expensive. We have also encountered it, but the main purpose is to ski and eat. As for the floor heating is not hot, in fact, the main reason is that it is cold at night. , the housekeeper also gave me quilts, heaters, etc. It was a good solution. Checked in at around 10pm on Friday night, and the butler Lily's attentive service throughout the entire stay was really great! 👏👏The lake view room is large and has a wide view. Mom thought she brought a 30-inch suitcase with all the baby supplies, but it turns out she forgot her baby’s shower gel. Surprisingly, children's toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel) were provided that night, in very cute packaging. There is a coffee shop not far from the hotel. The scenery is super beautiful and there are various large-scale baby-walking artifacts underneath. On the second night, I also gave a little turtle as a turndown🐢

The location is good, it is very close to places to visit and eat around, the environment is very carefully arranged, and the scenery everywhere is very beautiful to take pictures casually, and we even went out to take pictures of the starry sky at night. There is no need to bring too many things for a few families to barbecue together. There are tent grills here. Special thanks to the butler service. My earrings fell off and I didn’t expect anything. Five days later, I found a courier and delivered them home. I really recommend it.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is gorgeous, the location to the Hello Kitty Park cannot be beat and the breakfast was delectable. My biggest praise goes to the staff! They are the most professional and welcoming people that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every single member of the staff from housekeeping to the concierges are incredible. It was truly a remarkable 3 day experience. 🌹🌹

I am satisfied with my stay at Ding ShangYi hotel. The most important is that i felt very comfortable while being on an escape to relax myself in this hotel. The staffs provides easy & professional service, feeling being well looked after in this property. Upon check-in, i could refresh myself with unlimited complimentary two types of iced tea and cookies, surely most hotels doesn't provide this. I slept peacefully day as well as night as the environment is always very quiet inside and around the hotel. I love the bed coz it's specially comfortable. I had my dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, it was all a few seafood dishes, i must say that the Chef truly emphasizes on quality and visual/presentation. After dinner my 4 friends and i went for karaoke which is right next to the hotel, very convenient indeed. I came across Mr. Avi, the lobby manager, we chatted for a while, he told me that he has been serving in this hotel for the past 8 years. Wow! I've been to quite a few hotel in China, surely never came across a foreigner working for so long in a hotel. This guy speaks 6 different languages, including Chinese mandarin. I'll surely recommend this hotel to my friends who'll want to travel to Anji.
