The hotel room was clean. The location was great. There’s many food establishments near by. The staff goes out of their way to welcome and provide for their guests. My son’s high school wrestling team returned to the hotel at 9:00 after wrestling all day. One of the kids mentioned being hungry. The staff member said she would go bake them some cookies and be back in 20 minutes. They sat in the dining area and snacked their hungry hearts out. This was very much appreciated. The staff was also very nice to them the following morning at breakfast. The staff made these hungry teens happy! This is our 2nd year staying here for this tournament. I look forward to coming back next year.

Probably the best hot spring hotel in Xiamen. The details are very good, both the lobby staff and the check-in are very caring. Special thanks to the account manager, Ms. Debbie, for knowing that it is the mother’s birthday. Not only did she give us the hotel’s thoughtful fruits and special gifts, she also gave us her heartfelt greetings and caring It really impressed me more than the Haiyue Villa I lived in last week and satisfied me. The service details are really good. The breakfast is also rich in Chinese style. It is suitable for bringing parents and children or couples to relax. It is recommended to stay more than two nights to relax.

Loved loved this Amazing Plantation and Gardens. The Houmas House and Museum are just astonishing. We stayed two nights in a gorgeous junior suite. Very plush, very quiet. Every amenity you could think of. Very comfortable bed too!! We had no issues walking anywhere and we had use of golf carts if we needed them. We had dinner in the Carriage house. One of the best dinners we have had in a long time. Excellent attentive service. Food was amazing. Redfish, scallops, pumpkin and crawfish soup, and to die for white chocolate bread pudding. Along with great cocktails. Could not have been better!! Oh and the buffet breakfast in the am that comes with your stay here, is outstanding!! Fresh coffee, orange juice, grillades and grits to die for! Eggs, sausage, eggs and ham, homemade biscuits, potatoes, fresh jams, yogurts. What a spread. The grounds here are more beautiful than anywhere we have seen traveling all around the world. Black swans, white swans, ducks, peacocks, bunnies. Loved our stay!! Will be back. Loved the resident labs too. ❤️

The actual hotel experience was phenomenal, however, the hotel receptionist lied to me upon arrival . She stated that the hotel didn’t accept third party reservations. I knew that was a lie because I’ve used third parties reservations at their properties in the past. The undertones were quite obvious , however, I was not going to allow this to deter me after driving 8 hours. Once I called her out on it she had no choice but to honor the reservation. Many have probably had these issues and just walked away, I’m a fighter for righteousness and was not going to be a coward to allow this blatant foolishness to deter from a good night rest.. Marriott should implement sensitivity training.

We were checked into room 126; with king bed. We were starting to get unpacked when my husband turned on the water in the sink. It was HOT. He couldn't get the cold water faucet to give out cold water. Same with the bathtub. I reported the problem to reception. In the meantime, my husband reported that a socket sparked when he withdrew his cell phone charger. Reception came to check the water situation out, ran it in the sink and tub, and agreed with us, but said maintenance had probably gone home. So, they gave us room 118 which was a free upgrade, and we repacked and moved into that room. The bed was comfortable. We had breakfast the next morning in the dining room, it was typical Quality Inn-which was fine. The breakfast room was well kept, as was the lobby. In the morning when we checked out, reception said that maintenance had looked at rm 126 and the water was fine. Something was said about the pipes being hot when we checked into the room, so it took longer for the water to register to cold. Well, that was a ”first” for us -in all the hotels we have stayed in so far. I think something should be adjusted with the water so that both guests and reception don't think something is amiss, in future.

Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. It was not crowded at all. Beds and pillows were great. Not exactly in Donaldsonville. Our GPS couldn't find it so we had to ask someone. Breakfast was the norm since COVID started but overall good.

I can’t say enough about the manager, Mrs Coleman, at Home2 in Gonzales, La. We booked a block of rooms for a wedding weekend and had several problems with the website. Ms Coleman went above and beyond to help guest get rooms booked and make sure all guests have everything they needed. The staff was extremely helpful and I would highly recommended Home2 for anyone interested in booking rooms and personal or business needs. Thanks Mrs Coleman for ALL your help.
