This is a Tang Dynasty-style guesthouse hidden deep in the village of Gulgou. It's about a 20-minute drive from Gulgou town. We arrived late at night in the dark, and the owner came down from the roadside to help us with our luggage. The guesthouse is built into the mountainside, so there are steps leading up and down, which can be a bit tiring. However, the view is absolutely stunning. Opening the windows and doors, you can see the distant colorful forests and snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. Every detail in the rooms is exquisite and refined. The carpets, stools, beds, washbasins, etc., were all carefully designed by the owner and handcrafted by artisans. They are truly unique and cannot be replicated. In the evening, we warmed ourselves by burning firewood in the fireplace. Sitting around the coffee table on the carpet, drinking tea and wine, we weren't cold at all. We chatted for a long time, sharing our views on Tang Dynasty history and modern society. The owner was very knowledgeable, and we listened attentively. At night, with the electric blankets on, we weren't cold either. The guesthouse is quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. We slept in until we naturally woke up in the morning. Breakfast was simple: sweet potato porridge, eggs, shumai, pickled vegetables, etc. It wasn't fancy, but it felt very much like ordinary rural life. We only stayed one day, but I must say, it's worth staying longer to experience a different way of life.

The facilities are very new, and there are four rooms, and the navigation is very convenient to reach. There are disposable bath towels available. It is worthy of praise for the housekeeper's little sister. We arrived very late. We gave us a fireplace as soon as we arrived, and we turned on the floor heating. Due to sudden lightning thunder and thunder, the circuit was cut, but the circuit was repaired soon, and the cooking aunt, who was diligent and kind, kept asking if we were full. Thank you for your warm care ～ Give the boss a small comment, can the faucet be replaced with a shorter one, it is very inconvenient to wash your face ～

A truly unique boutique hotel. We stayed for two nights, and it's the kind of place my grandson absolutely adored. He was obsessed with their hot springs bath, constantly begging to go for a soak. He even said other hotels' pools weren't good enough, only this one was. The accommodation itself was excellent – clean and comfortable. The overall environment was lovely too; the courtyard had an elegant layout, and I enjoyed sitting there quietly to relax and recharge. The chef at the restaurant was superb, with truly delicious food. I'm writing this review several days after our stay, and it's my honest, objective opinion. I was never invited by the hotel to write a review. We tried to book it again on our way back but unfortunately, there were no rooms available. I regretted it for a long time after that.

This is the third time I have come to see the Snow Mountain B&B. The last time I came was in summer, and the Ergu Creek in winter was another scenery. Although it is a pity that there is no snow, the scenery of the snow-capped mountains is enough to be shocking. This time I stayed in the largest sister room, the name should be taken from the sister peak of Siguniang Mountain. The room is clean and tidy, with its own floor heating, and it will not be cold in winter. The housekeeper and his wife are still kind and cute, and they also saw the cute dog Hanamaki. For dinner, I ordered a Tibetan hot pot that I was thinking about. Sitting in the glass dome restaurant, while enjoying the steaming food, while looking at the distant mountains and the sky, it seems that people can forget all their troubles. The room is warm and comfortable, the landlord is hospitable, and the Tibetan hot pot is also very good and worth experiencing. It is a very good experience. The fruit in the village is rich, sunny, and the environment is pleasant. I will come again if I have a chance!
