Fantastic stay at Icon BCN with my friend. Very straightforward and prompt reception, Alexander was very helpful to us. Room was amazing with a fab shower room. Breakfast was also brilliant. The location of the hotel was great for walking to La Rambla (10mins), underground (8mins) and the main airport shuttle (12mins).

Don't get fooled by the online pictures. This place is old and tired. The employees are nice enough but mostly were not at the lobby desk when I walked by. The room was ok, if you like peeling wallpaper and dusty dried flowers. The shower leaked.The bathroom accessories are wrapped up with the old hotels name. There is a lot of potential in this hotel if the chain wanted to spend money on a renovation.

The hotel location is perfect and it is located in a very nice and great area that is close to everything but the main problem is the cleanliness and the furniture of the hotel. The furniture is depreciated and it is not clean. The staff are very respectful, the breakfast is really bad and only the best thing they have is the croissants but the rest is not delicious. Also the dishes and the cups are not clean

Canadian writes, my luggage did not arrive for two days. The front desk staff of Marta and Celia were so kind as to speak with the Barcelona airlines in Spanish and solved the missing bag. The staff is very very kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was more than superb an abundance of everything you might want hot and cold they even had home made green juice! Happy hotel guest.
