Hotels near Taman Awam Metropolitan Relau, Bayan Lepas

This was our 1st time at Amari Spice but from the on set was a bad experience. Driving into the hotel I could not drive to the lobby entrance to drop my family & luggage as it was blocked for some reason best known to Amari. Security at the entrance was of no help & I ended up blocking the way of a car at the back. What was supposed to be destress trip, started off on bad note. Anyway cursing Amari Spice for being worst than a 1 star hotel, I reversed back into the lobby entrance. Told this bad experience while checking in to the front office staff but they were not bothered  Going to the room found the mattress to be too soft sinking when you lay down & the air cond temp tops up at 26.5 degress, not everyone likes the room super cold. These 2 shortcomings are something that you wld not find in a 4 or 5 star hotels but looks like Amari is still figuring out where they stand. Even many 3 star hotels are better. Moving to the shower both rain & hand shower water flow was dispointing at best with temperature regulation being a challenge. Since my home is at Bukit Jambu & the main reason of chosing Amari was to destress, which was not possible with the said room conditions, I had to leave my family both nights to head home to rest. The matteress, shower & air cond at home the best. Wondering how Amari claims to be home away from home. On a good note the staff were courteous & friendly. Inclosing would I stay at Amari Spice again. NO.

Having seminar here and the checked inn was smooth and steady. Given high floor room and the view was great. Room was ok and cleanliness acceptable. Breakfast was good and tasty. Overall it was a good hotel to try and the location was superb.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The unit we stayed in was impressively spacious, providing ample room for everyone to relax comfortably. Each room came with its own shower, which was a great convenience and added to our overall comfort. The view from the hotel was stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop throughout our stay. The breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of selections that made it well worth the price. The quality and range of options ensured that everyone in our family found something they enjoyed. Overall, we had an incredibly enjoyable stay. A special thank you to the hotel staff for making my parents feel happy and well-cared-for. We genuinely appreciated the excellent service and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This accommodation is located right in front of Nasi Kandar Penang Kayu which opens 24 hours. Queensbay mall is nearby and only takes around 15 mins to the airport (subject to traffic) so as we only stayed 1 night to catch an early flight, it was convenient - location wise. No wifi provided though. Really have table tennis/ping pong table, dart games and movie (we didnt watch any) as seen on the pictures. The building is a bit outdated though. The tenant contacted us directly via Whatsapp and the explanation about the facility was very very clear and helpful.

This is my 4th time staying in CEO whenever I am in Penang. My choice for CEO suites is the folllowing 1. Good pricing per night 2. Good location, proximity to good food, customer office and near to the airport The low sides of staying in CEO Suites is the following 1. Iron , old and damaged 3 times out of four stay 2. The bath room water spray is damaged, leaking through the night

I love budget hotels... Been to lots of them and I know the expectation when staying at this kind of accommodation. Cheap, basic amenities, no frills concept. However Hotel Seri Malaysia Pulau Pinang just set a new standards of how a hotel should not be. I've stayed with them a couple of years ago and I know how bad their services are, but after several years maybe they might consider improving at least a little, but they prove me wrong. Check in 2 days ago, and the impression is not good. Complaints from the customers at the counter (hot water, cleanliness, etc). I thought maybe he was because bg fussy. I've got the 3rd floor room which is not a problem without lift. The room is ok but the air-conditioning is unreliable. The temperature control doesn't really works. The breakfast buffet nothing special with limited spread. I saw few tourists who bring in their own food. Don't know why but I assumed the choices of F&B is not enough for them. And the seating are so limited. I know that it is School holiday session but when the customers standinh for 10 minutes with food on their hand and no one even give a damn, then it is intolerable. I do ask for a container for me to take away the food, but as if they care. So.. Seri Malaysia hotel... If you do read this review, good, please do something for the sake of your own good. For me, no more Seri Malaysia ever. To be honest I'm ashamed they have Malaysia in their brand. Change to other name please

We wanted to use the hotel as a day-room, so informed that that we would not be staying the night, but would like an early check-in; this went well. Where it fell apart was on checkout, we were asked to pay the tourist tax, which we had paid on check-in, but was apparently not recorded or incorrectly recorded. Fortunately we had time (just) and insisted that it be checked, as otherwise the hotel would have collected the tourist tax on check-in and check-out if we were really tight on time. Not sure where these extra funds end up...

This hotel is located near the Bayan Lepas International Airport which is very convenient to air travelers. Parking is easy and close to the building. The plus point of this hotel is the room which is large and spacious. The cafe is easily accessable and the prices are reasonable. You must try their mi goreng sotong......The serving is huge and tasty. Front office staff are helpful and friendly and for the present room rate they are charging, it is worth for a second visit. Room very spacious with 2 super King size bed that sleep 4 person. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom also very spacious with 1 standing shower and a bathtub. Can draw up the blind and enjoy outside view while soaking in the bathtub. Every unit has a small little pool for you to soak and at the same time enjoyed the sea or mountain view depending on unit facing direction. TV attached 2 small speaker that provide better audio for listening to music. TV has multiple and international channel for selection. It also have internet radio and video on demand (but most are old movies). Some negative point. Breakfast especially on weekend either go very early 6.30am or after 9.00am else face a long q for a table. Next need some improvement on air con compressor which I think is mounted at toilet area. It generated noise which can be rather irating especially late at night.
