The hotel has a good location. It is close to Tsinghua University in the north and Tsinghua Science and Technology Park next to it. It is very convenient to get anywhere. There are public buses just outside the hotel. There are about two subway stations nearby, so the transportation is very convenient. Very pleasant service and environment. The room was quite large, and we enjoyed the complimentary cookies and fruit. We took my 2-year-old to the pool, which was nice and mostly empty. There was no shallow end for kids, so my son was a bit scared (he is still new to swimming pools), but he permitted me to carry him around in it. It was not very easy to walk around and find a place to eat quickly except for some fast food restaurants. The street the hotel is on is a wide highway, so we did not spend a lot of time walking around outside. But we were able to easily and quickly get to the new Summer Palace from here.

The hotel is in a very good condition generally. The room is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The staff were courteous and friendly. I wish the guest could control temperature because it was way too hot for us, but we were not that the only thing we could do was to open the windows. The hotel has a number of high end restaurants, which seemed to be very high quality, but has few customers. If you don’t have a car, it’s not convenient because it’s not very walkable to shops and offices. Overall, it’s a fine hotel if you need to stay in that area.
