I stayed 31 nights during january 2024 at 7 days inn hotel. I chose this hotel because it was very close to the subway, in the center of Beijing and the heating system was good according to the reviews. I changed room the first day so I could have a little bit better room. The previous room had no universal charger and was very dark, the windows in front of a wall. My room was on the first floor, just next to the shared bathroom and to the water dispenser. The room was very big and quiet (unless people talk in the corridor), not a lot of light but some rooms has more sun light than others. No fridge inside but since it was january I put my food outside the windows if I wanted to keep it fresh. If you want to warm some food, you can use the microwage in the commun area but I never used it. The commun area is very close from the entrance door so it was very chilly. The staff was nice but almost no english. They explained to me how to use the washing machine and once the wifi was not working so they helped me. Internet was definetly not very good but I was able to watch youtube with my vpn. I will start now talking about the shared bathroom (which I already knew was shared when booking) but I didn't know the toilet would be squat toilets. I think if I knew before, I wouldn't choose this hotel. There was no lock in the toilets. The shower room has one and was very cold (because winter). The hot water was always there but I took my shower usually in the morning (so less people). The shared bathroom was dirty mostly because of clients that didn't clean after their buisness. There was regulary water on the floor so I was just going with my shoes on at some point. The washing machine was broken the first 2 weeks and then got replaced. I'm still a bit confused if clients can use it or only the staff, but I used it anyway. The area is maybe a bit empty at first but if you go to the Hong Qiao Pearl Market, in the basement there is a big food court where you can try chinese food (or subway and macdonalds). Overall I liked my journey in this hotel but I think it was too expensive for a shared bathroom this old and dirty. I paid 1000 euros for 31 days.

Bathroom/shower stalls need to be cleaned THOROUGHLY of grim/stains and MOULDS! Which are not only unsightly but pose a danger to health! This is for ALL rooms! Water from shower stalls do not drain well due to poor construction gradient of shower floor. Check in smooth and although booked a room on 2/3rd floors, was given one on 4th floor accessible through an external door on 3rd fl through 2 flights of stairs and to the outside, certainly unsuitable for any older persons! Was subsequently given one on 3rd for subsequent nights. Poor room layouts, no storage space/hooks for clothes, no fridge and dismal lighting. Architect/designer has much to learn about room layouts etc before embarking on further hotel designs! Breakfast was ample/adequate but could have some different varieties each day for those who stay longer. This could have been an innovative arty hotel which the Owner has in mind but for the above. Saving grace was the front desk staff who were most helpful and special mention should be made of Helen, Owen, Jake and Vivian.

The first hotel I stayed in when I came to Beijing was on Qianmen Street. There was a security checkpoint downstairs. The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Love the hotel so much. The front desk workers are very helpful. Everyday they’ll greet us and ask where are we going. Hotel location is super strategic and so many halal restaurants around the hotel. If you’re tired and don’t want to get out from the hotel,there’s a halal restaurant at level B1 new world mall. The location was very convenient it was close to many of the tourist attractions. The check in and check out process was very smooth, you do need to have your luggage go through a security check which I think is a requirement because of its proximity to tianamen square and the forbidden city. The staff was very friendly and helpful; they provided us with an adapter to use for our laptop since we forgot to pack ours. Overall a great budget stay.

Amazing. Highly recommend. Great value for the size, 4 times the size of a regular hotel room. Would def rebook and stay at this Marriott in Beijing in the future. Fully equipped amenities and full kitchen. Housekeeping everyday and helped wash the dishes and offered to wash clothing, even though the suite has a washing machine, dish washing machine, stainless steel pots, etc. Only 3 mins walking distance to one of the best high-end malls, Wangfu Central 王府中環. My mother just had a hip-replacement surgery and has trouble walking in the snow or long distances, so location to everything was prime importance, this hotel was only 5-6 min walk to all the essential banks we needed to visit. Also, was hoping to take her to a few hot springs to relieve numbness and pain in her legs, but the bath tub in the spacious bathroom was so huge and comfortable we often stayed in to take turns soaking in the tub instead of going to the hot springs. Also, they had an indoor temperature controlled swimming pool, so we went swimming every other day, and used their gym. The swimming pool was empty and had 3 life guards guarding the swimming. All I can say is this apartment hotel is one of the best you can book in Beijing.

Send your children to Peking University and take the elderly to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
