Hotels near The Malls at Oriental Plaza in Beijing

Everything in regards to our stay at the Grand Hyatt was 6* except for the WiFi which wasn't of international standards. Location was spot on a central network linked to the mall with major big brands Which is linked to the 1st class train system. It's also 30mins walk to the Forbidden city. And the gym 🏋️♀️ and Pool and Spa was simply immaculate and luxurious first class with a heated pool oasis. Wished I could have spent more time enjoying the facilities. And what complimented well to the global luxurious brand was it's staff members! I have to call out the exceptional 2 departments Conceige and Housekeeping which was truly above and beyond!!! Daniel -assisted with restaurant bookings and forbidden City tickets reservations. And when he was off duty he still wechat me to suggest how to maximise the use of our tickets and best way to maximise time to visit Tianamen Square too and tips too on best way all this while he was off duty! Such dedication!!! Another staff whom I like to recognise is Cecila also from Conceige. When asked for directions on day 1, she didn't just verbalise, she left her station and ushered us all the way outside and showed us the right way around to our breakfast destination. On day 2, which is also check out day, she realised its J birthday and made arrangments for not 1 but 2 bakes so that our dearest friends could enjoy together too. She also kept in touch on wechat to organise all our logistical arrangments several times. Each time with a 😃 smile. Outstanding! Housekeeping lady for rooms 1221 and 1220 was simple though and detailed and went above and beyond too. So much personal touch to all that she did which most would never bother! Good job!! And best of all, she didn't expect anything in return. Absolutely admirable! Unsung hero! Check in staff Allan was pleasant and swift with our late check in and made our final day breakfast logistics seamless. Thank you and thanks for responding efficiently on wechat too. Con- WiFi sucks badly.....surprised that a 5* global brand couldn't keep u to. Chengdu 4* service Residence. So frustrating for global travellers like ourselves. Yetel Collection is located at very good location. From Beijing Capital International Airport to Yetel Collection by Airport express and Subway metro line to Wangfujing Metro Station. Yetel Collection is about 10m from Wangfujing Metro Station. Yetel Collection is beside Wangfujing walking street. The room has no window and the air-conditioning cannot be manully controlled. So the room can be quite warm even in winter. Yetel Collection is beside Wangfujing Walking and food street.

The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Excellent English speaking staff adds a lot of value to a 5 star hotel in China. The Concierge Manager Jason Zhang and his team Mr Young Yang, The Guest Managers, Mr Terry Mr Koh, front liners, Rebecca, Evelyn and of course the 2 bell boys too. Mr Jason who is English speaking has gone the extra mile to help give us invaluable advice for our private local tours. Thus, Legendale Hotel Beijing is one of the best 5 star hotel that we have stayed in China.

We booked 5 nights stay. Location near the metro station, nearby have plenty of food stores. Walk to wangfujing 15-20mins. Hotel provides free laundry self-service. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist, named Kevin. He helped us to arrange for all my families (3rooms) to stay on the same floor and upgrade one room. The only down point for this hotel is that many rooms have a heavy smoking smell. And guests smoking in the room, which polluted the whole corridor.

The old hotel is stable and domineering, not to mention the location. When I walked out of the guest room elevator, I saw the photos of the chairman, prime minister and CEO waiting in the hotel in the corridor. I couldn't help but straighten my waist and raise my chest. Although the facilities in the room are old, the overall facilities will not disappoint guests.

Love the hotel so much. The front desk workers are very helpful. Everyday they’ll greet us and ask where are we going. Hotel location is super strategic and so many halal restaurants around the hotel. If you’re tired and don’t want to get out from the hotel,there’s a halal restaurant at level B1 new world mall. Btw, the hotel is attached to the mall.

The room shown in the ctrip app was completely different from the one we got, because it DIDNT HAVE A WINDOW!!! It was a bit challenging to communicate with staff, first of all they didn't speak English and the staff kept saying that our room was the best one in the hotel... but we only wanted a room with a window, then she talked to the manager, whom refused to come to talk to us... and then the staff said that she could offer the breakfast to compensate... again, we just wanted a room with window! Well, we had to get down to the lobby (the reception and the lobby are located in different levels) and explain to the manager, so she promised that tomorrow we could have a room with window. So in the end, we got the room with a window, but without the deduction of the room price or the breakfast. Besides all this trouble, the location is amazing!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Howard Johnson Beijing , and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. This hotel excels in providing a clean and comfortable environment, boasts a luxurious lobby, and is strategically located for travelers. First and foremost, the cleanliness of my room was impeccable. It was evident that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work, as every corner of the room was spotless. The attention to detail in maintaining a pristine environment truly enhanced my stay. The lobby of [Hotel Name] is a masterpiece in itself. Upon entering, I was greeted by a grand, opulent space that exuded elegance. The plush furnishings, tasteful decor, and soothing ambiance made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It also served as a fantastic backdrop for meetings or casual gatherings. The strategic location of the hotel was a major convenience. Whether I wanted to explore the city's attractions, dine at renowned restaurants, or simply shop, everything was within a short distance. The hotel's accessibility to public transportation and major landmarks was a significant plus. Furthermore, the staff at the hoteldeserves special commendation. Their warm and attentive service made me feel valued as a guest. They were always ready to assist with any request or provide recommendations, adding a personal touch to my stay.

Location is EXCELLENT! It's just across the subway. And there are plenty of shopping malls and flagship stores for many international brands around. Super convenient with restaurants that serve super delicious local meals just next to the hotel. Staff is super attentive even in the middle of the night. Room bed and blankets are comfortable. Enough supply of bottles of water everyday. Free flow is Chinese tea and coffee at the lobby is definitely a big plus!! The only down side is the cigarette smoke at the corridor of the rooms.
