Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and polite, though was offered an upgrade like many of the other reviewers I've seen (but not a negative). Pool is very small and a bit of a mess, it is open to the community and the locker room is a bit rundown and it was too crowded to enjoy during my entire stay. The rooms are very nice and clean and the lobby and communal spaces are very nice. 24hr room service is a big plus. The layout of the lobby on the 3rd floor without direct elevator access to the 1st floor is annoying. All deliveries have to be met at the 1st floor and that requires going all the way through the lobby on the 3rd floor and either taking another elevator or two flights of escalators to receive.

All the deductions were given to the housekeeping department. On the second night, they forgot to put slippers on the bed, there was no hand cream, and the bathtub cushions in the bathroom were taken away and no new ones were put. I called the housekeeping phone for a long time but no one answered and no one called back. I had to contact the housekeeper to make up for it. The explanation given was that we came back during the night turndown, and the things that were not put were not put in order to not disturb us again. Regardless of the fact that we didn't come back until after 9 o'clock in the evening, this reason felt like blaming the guests for not going back to the room and disrupting the work rhythm of the housekeeping department. Forgotten is forgotten, and if the work details are not in place, just apologize and correct it. Why are there so many lame excuses? Since you claim that the Bulgari brand is not ordinary, don't make mistakes in details and refuse to admit it. It's just like the style of a fast hotel, lowering your own value. The housekeeper specifically told me that the night gift for the third night was a toiletries set specially prepared by her, and she hoped we liked it. Guess what, when I came back at night, I found that the housekeeping department forgot to put it again! The housekeeper's hard work was thrown into the wind by his colleagues~ Oh yes, I went to the bar for a drink on the first night of my stay. From finding a seat to sitting down, no waiter showed up. The bartender watched us sit down without saying hello until I went to the counter to ask for the wine list. Finally, the waiter showed up. When I wanted to add more wine later, I still couldn't find anyone. I waved to the bartender, and both of them were busy greeting a female guest who ordered a glass of red wine at the bar. Even when they looked at each other in the heated conversation, they chose to ignore me. Who knows what the reason is? Good reviews are given to the housekeeper Kiki and the front office department. They are very attentive and careful. Whether it is the preparation of gifts or the timeliness of replies, there is nothing to say 👍Every time I pass by the front desk, they greet seriously, which is worthy of the hotel's facade.

Visited on August 2023. Stayed for 4nights. Location is not ideal. Its 15-30mins walk to either train stations. No straight path. Nearest shopping mall of any repute is 25mins walk away. Good thing is its vlose to a row of economical eateries that serves a wide variety of cuisines: from local to European. Convenient stores and massage spas nearby. Reception staff is generally polite and professional. Their command of English is not strong, but they tried to be as helpful as possible. They always booked my car rides for me when I asked them to. Pet friendly hotel..i cane across a few dogs going to the rooms. One of them is huge mixed. Room is spacious with lots of storage spaces. Fittings are a bit dated. They are undergoing scheduled renovations, so hopefully it will be better. Housekeeping staff are polite, but expect very little English. Gym: air-conditioning control is not working. The equipment is old. There's a cat den right outside the window tho..so if you are a cat lover, there's lots of purry little ones playing in the garden space outside. Cafe: its converted from one of the rooms..not a full cafe. Breakfast is whatever they have. Almost the same everyday. Toast, hard boil eggs, porridge, and a selection of cooked items.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone having business or family trips especially around the embassies that are around the area. It is in the central of almost everything, 30 minutes max from airport, 40 minutes to south railway and walking distances to embassies. Mr. Virgil is a kind and outstanding staff member. He helped a lot to make my staying easier by using WeChat to translate and help for almost everything that I needed help with. If I would go back to Beijing, I would definitely go back to this hotel. I felt welcomed and rooms are outstanding.

I had a very pleasant stay and I also got a room upgrade and a late check-out for free. There are many good restaurants around the corner (5 minutes walk) and parking in the parking garage is free too. The hotel location is good for subway connection for PEK Airport and Gubei Watertown bus station, esp you don't need to take subway during morning rush hour, just less than 10min walking distance. The superior room size is just nice for 2 persons with luggages put on the floor. Currently no buffet breakfast as the restaurant is doing reno. Take subway exit C at Dongzhimen Station and walk about 500m to the hotel. The hotel near Ginza Mall, we had lunch and dinner at 1star Michelin Chinese restaurant Cui Hua Lou, nice food with reasonable price. To visit Forbidden City, need to book in advance, if not, not allowed to purchase ticket on the same day. Send email to bookingticket@dpm.org.cn to make reservation then collect ticket later. To visit many attractions and take subway, need to show passport for verification. Do not bring spray sanitizer bottle, not allowed for security reason.
