I'm just back from our family (2 adults + 3 kids) holiday to Limak Arcadia Sport Resort Hotel where we had a really good time. The hotel itself was lovely, well maintained and clean. There are 2 main pools, another at the bottom of the chutes and a kids pool. There is also access to a private beach (with it’s own bar and food outlet) and plenty of sporting areas (football, tennis, archery). We had a family room in block 4, with a separate bedroom for me and my wife. The room was well kept by room service, but we did find that the mini bar didn’t get re-stocked everyday and we had to call a few times to resolve that. There is an amphitheatre where there are (professional) shows every night. Most of these are performance dance/gymnastics type shows. All were very entertaining. The temperature in May was perfect for us, ranging most days between 25C-30C. In the evening if there was a wind, we would have to put a jumper/cardigan on. The Activity Team were also very good. A big shout out to “Didi” who was excellent with my kids. My kids are 10, 13 and 15 and Didi was so good with them, he was excellent. He had them doing all the activities, made them feel welcome and built a really good relationship with them over the holiday. The only real negative was the food choice. I’m not a massive fan of all-inclusive, but the food was very repetitive. 2 of my kids are Celiac and their options were very restrictive – they basically had Gluten-Free pizza for lunch and dinner every day. I don’t think Celiac is particularly well diagnosed or understood in Turkey and there was a lot of blank expressions and puzzled looks when we were trying to explain it. Overall, we had a good holiday. No one wanted to come back (to reality).
