Amane Resort Gahama

We were a bit hesitant ourselves about this ryokan - we've been spoiled in staying at some of the very top ryokans throughout the country, and while Amane Resort Gahama is highly rated and understood this property to be kid-friendly, we weren't sure if it would meet our own high bar. Thankfully, our concerns were completely unfounded. It deftly balances the needs for discerning adults while at the same time doing a wonderful job catering to the needs of young families. This was part of a multi-generation trip, with four families (two of them with two young children each) and four total rooms as part of our booking. While Amane Resort Gahama (and its sister property, Amane Resort Seikai) is located along a bustling street in a nondescript area of Beppu (and next to KFC as well as Nitori, a large home furniture store), once we stepped inside we were ushered into a different world. Namely, the panoramic view of the ocean gave the ryokan an air of tranquility. We booked four rooms - all in the tower (there are separate Villas on site, but we wanted the view.) All of the rooms were Japanese-Western style with a generous 90 square meters of space. Two of the rooms were on the third floor, one was on the fifth floor, and one was a ”special room” on the top floor (10F.) Of the four, I'd say that the fifth floor room was my preference, in that it allowed unobstructed views (the Villa rooftops were visible when peering out of the balcony of the 3F rooms) that were not too far off from the 10F room, and it had a bedroom that was separate from the living room, whereas the 10F special room was an open, junior suite style. Somehow, it also seemed that the top floor room was a bit tighter in space, despite the specifications. All rooms offered both indoor and outdoor Onsen (hot springs) baths, and that's what we were after. Of course, the children wanted to enjoy the larger communal baths. Unfortunately, it's located in Seikai, meaning you'd either have to walk outdoors for 5 minutes (through the Nitori parking lot) or take a complimentary shuttle - a bit of a hassle, yes, although we wound up bouncing between both properties for some of our meals (more on that later.) Gahama catered nicely to families with young children. They offered child-sized slippers as well as Yukata and Samue robes that were small enough to even fit a 2-year old. Our meals (for 11 total people) on both nights were served in a private room. And they offered very nice children's meals for both breakfast and dinner - they loved all of the food offerings at this property. At the same time, this ryokan would be equally suitable for adult couples... service is polished and attentive, while both the kaiseki dinner meal and French dinner course (the latter is at Amane Resort Seikai) were sophisticated and beautifully presented. And that's one of the benefits of either of the Amane ryokans - the multiple dining options allowed us to enjoy a diversity of top-notch servings. In the morning, w

Bettei Haruki

-Booking (1 point / 5 point) - I wanted to make a reservation because there was a bathtub in the room. When I saw the room I ordered, it was said that 3 bathtubs were available. So when I came to the local area, I said that I applied for a twin room without a bathtub in the second floor room. I protested why the picture was different from the actual one, but they said they didn't know. I couldn't check in for almost 2 hours and 30 minutes, and after a silent encounter with hotels.com and Betei Haruki staff, I decided to ask for some compensation from Betei Haruki. - Response is slow and the answer to the inquiries is not clear, so it is difficult for Koreans to make a reservation. -Food (5 points/5 points) - I stayed for 2 nights and ate 2 times in the evening and 2 times in the morning. -Friendly staff (5 points/5 points) -I'm sorry, so overall kindness -Location (2 points/5 points) -Beppu Station 15 minutes taxi distance, there is nothing to see around and it is inconvenient to get out of the city -Just, 15 minutes walk to the tourist spot. -Facilities (3 points/5 points) -Overall, it feels old or it's okay to experience Japanese home -Public bathtubs are available without difficulty-Total review (2 points/5 points) - 2 nights for 2 people in the morning, If the price including dinner exceeds 800,000 won, there is no need to choose Guji here. I think there are enough ryokans with good value for money at this price. I recommend another place instead of spending 400,000 won per night in a twin room on the second floor located in this neighborhood where the view is not particularly good.

I wanted to enjoy the old-fashioned Yuji and stayed overnight. It is like a hot spring inn that has been operating for about 100 years, and there are small kitchens and tableware that can be used by guests in the remnants of Yuji inn, and hell steaming outside can be used.

Although the location is relatively biased, there are no restrictions on self-driving people. There are hotels or residential buildings nearby. Those who want to visit the supermarket must be in the seaside city. But the cleanliness of this hotel, the quality of the food is very good, very rich, and the price is cheaper than most of Beppu, indoor or outdoor hot springs are very comfortable, cost-effective! If you want to see the sea, this one may not be suitable for you.

I spent my first two hours doing what I haven’t done for almost three years, driving along the snaking roads in Japan. Arriving at Amane Seikai you feel euphoric, the seafood kaiseiki wasn’t the best, but the sake was good, and I was still giddy from seeing the spacious (1776 sq feet) junior suite with its own ocean view pool, jacuzzi, open-air onsen bath. “Room” 230 is in the new wing (according to my booking.com description), the apartment/room is not especially stylish, except for one little bottle of water and some coffee/tea, the mini bar and fridge were empty, but it has a spectacular view and you’ll still get your ocean view from bed and feel the constant gravitational pull of your private open-air onsen. I got up at 6ish just to catch the first rays of sunlight and to listen to the sound of the waves. Last but not least, the staff that checked me in was really nice and spoke perfect English ( coz he is from Nebraska ☺️)

At first, I was a little worried about the location, but it was not a problem because it was on the bus route, so I could get there in about 10 minutes on foot. It was so comfortable and nice because there were many amenities and restaurants around. To review the accommodation, it was by far the best .. The manager's grandfather was so kind and pleasant, and he spoke a little English, so communication was easy. The private hot springs and the big baths were all the best, and the water was good, so I really want to go again. The room was spacious and nice, and I thought it was uncomfortable to think that there was no private shower room, but it was so comfortable because there were all private shower rooms and massage chairs. This is a hostel I really want to recommend to my acquaintances. I'm going to spend so well.

It's a small inn with 2 to 30 rooms. Is it difficult to renovate? The large public bath felt quite old, and the atmosphere of the room was somewhat old-fashioned. In addition, the overall cleaning was thorough and I was able to spend a comfortable time. I had a double main dish of hell steamed and steak. Also, the free beer, orange juice, and coffee service in the break room was great. During the corona crisis, we stayed overnight on a Sunday, but the number of customers seemed to be about 25%, and the number of employees was the minimum number, so it was quiet. P.S. Pola's Kalahari was in the room's amenities, and Pola's Aroma Esse and Shiseido's skin care products were placed in the dressing room of the large public bath.

There are occasionally low evaluation writings in high evaluation, so I stayed while thinking which one was true. Good point All the cherry blossom dishes were delicious. I felt very delicious because rice was cooked. Ume sake is also rich, and I don't usually drink sake, but this was also delicious. I also cut it in the room and offered it, but I thought it was worth asking for it with a thick taste. The bath is a small bath, and the open-air bath cannot be expected, but the hot water itself was a beautiful skin hot water that can feel the skin further after bathing (I am an old man w) I want to put five stars up to this point, but the following is the point of convincing that the strong low evaluation is attached Cleaning equipment is left in the bath, and the employee's private T-shirt is dried. The inner bath was like this. There is no explanation of the dishes for dinner and breakfast. It is delicious, but I don't know what I eat or what I recommend. I recommended hamburger to the official HP, but it was a steak at my time. Naturally, there is no explanation. Mystery. There is no plum sake. In other words, there was a contact that there was a cancellation in another room, and there were more than two, but I didn't care. You don't have to tell the customer that kind of internal feelings, but. I don't think there's a lie, but I think there's a little more to say. Children's cooking (2 infants), one hamburger, and the other cheese in hamburger. Why not! (not allergic) At breakfast, the dessert came out ahead of miso soup. This is a mystery. I don't care. The dessert was pine and melon, but the fork did not come out. It seems that the information was notified from the scratch though it changed the original schedule and changed the point use at the time of the scratch accounting, but it was not confirmed and left. Look at ~ (please) When you give a detailed point of the cherry blossom facilities, there is no refrigerator in the room, the washbasin is only water, and the washbasin is not placed on the washbasin, etc. 々. In addition, the official HP was not creditable, but credits other than JCB and AMEX can be used, so cashless people can stay with peace of mind. I thought that if you care about the negative point below, you will be one star. On the other hand, the rice is good, the hot spring is comfortable, but it is five stars for those who win (I am close to this impression) It is an inn, but I think I am preparing for anything to do, and I think I am prepared for anything. Not to be, for example, I heard from here about cooking (I respond properly when I hear credits and plum sake), for example, because I stay in a grandparent's house in the countryside . I thought it was a lodging of such a sense, and when I stayed and stayed, I was satisfied, and I thought it was an inn suitable for those who could stay like that. I think it will be better if you improve around it. The material (cooking, bath, pudding) has good things.
