The hotel is located on the main road of Bologna, across the road from the Cathedral. On the day of the check-in, a grand religious celebration is held, as it is close to the road and you can walk through the road to feel. The room is large, especially the bathroom, and it is no exaggeration to say that you can dance inside. There is an emergency alarm rope near the toilet and the shower. I have pulled two times in the unknown. I have to call the security immediately and need no assistance. It is quite professional and safe. The bathroom accessories are famous Italian brands, the quality is very good, they are brought back to China after they have not been used up, especially like it. The breakfast room was slightly crowded and the dishes were average, but there were even porridge dishes. Later, I learned that there were Japanese monks and local religious groups to hold a friendly relationship and cooperation ceremony during the stay. It was very interesting to walk from the hotel. The restaurant waiter also asked us about Chinese tastes and Chinese cuisine. Although the English communication between the two sides could not convey the essence of Chinese food, they communicated clearly with the help of the body language and imagination. The breakfast was really good. A cultural exchange platform, the restaurant waiter is also very friendly. In general, although it is not the best hotel in Italy, it is also a great place to experience.

The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. I was offered to change a room for one of the higher levels when I arrived after paying the difference of the price, and I agreed with pleasure. The room was very beautiful. The only sin, not negligible given the level of the room, was the finding of a long black hair (not clearly of my property since I am shaved nor of the other person host) in the bedroom of the mattress and a cup of coffee used by the previous guest on the terrace balaustral.

This is a personal opinion, the hotels location is great, just across the road from the Train station, several bus stops within walking distance and taxi rank just nearby. Overall it didn’t give me that 4 star hotel experience, I found the rooms and bathrooms outdated, the rooms could do with a refurb and better lighting and air system, could be a lot better. The areas I covered or seen are clean, staff are ok-ish except one of the receptionist (Giulia) she was brilliant and she took a request of mine at heart and delivered it as requested.

On our round trip through northern Italy, we stopped in Bologna from 24.7.-25.7.22. We had booked a Classic double room at UNAHotels Bologna Centro via an online platform. Likewise, we already know UNAHotels from previous stays in other cities. The hotel is located outside the old town. It's a comfortable 20-minute walk. Unfortunately, the check-in did not work smoothly. The room was not ready at 13.15. The reception could not even check us in. They could only do that when the room was ready. I have never experienced anything like this and it has never happened in any other UNA hotel. Fortunately, we were able to drop off the luggage. A garage is also an advantage in Bologna. The reservation worked without a problem here, cost 22 euros per night. The room was very good. Size, comfort and cleanliness were perfect. The bathroom is also good. Everything necessary is available. Modern furnishings. Our request for a room on the upper floors was met. Wifi is good. The breakfast has everything you could want. Despite the discrepancies at check in, we can recommend the UNAHotels Bologna Centro.

Situato vicino stazione centrale ma c’è bisogno di taxi per arrivarci … dalla stazione ci vogliono circa 7/8 minuti .., hotel molto pulito servizio alle reception veloce cordiale è molto disponibile…. camere molto belle e super tecnologiche pulizia ottima (la mia era la 339) colazione al buffet molto abbondante e tutto molto buono con soluzione diverse per soddisfare tutte le esigenze …. con il taxi con una decina di minuti si raggiunge subito il centro .., lo consiglio vivamente a tutti … aggiungo per concludere qualità del sonno ottima e doccia nel bagno maxxi ….. da provare assolutamente

L’hotel è in centro e quindi in posizione estremamente strategica. Temevo anche per questo motivo che fosse molto rumoroso, invece la stanza dava sull’interno e, grazie all’aria condizionata, ho potuto tenere le finestre chiuse e non sentire alcun rumore. La stanza poi era ben arredata, soprattutto pulita e nuova! Altrove, per lo steso periodo mi proponevano prezzi ben più alti e temevo quindi che l’hotel avrebbe avuto qualche tipo di “intoppo”, invece l’ho trovato perfetto.

The hotel is very central and excellent to visit the historic centre of Bologna. I must, however, also talk about the negative aspects, the rooms are very close to each other and the walls are probably very thin so that you feel all the way of people, but above all the noises of when you are it try to open the room because the locks are a little defect. We had a bad luck to have the room near the door, so every time he came in and went out to someone, either night or morning, we heard that door shout and we were constantly waking up. Nice modern hotel, in the middle of the old town half a block off of Via dell'Indipendenza..so you are close to everything. As it’s a modern hotel, it has all the appointments with a good size desk, plenty of outlets, comfortable bed, large bathroom etc. Yes the plastic furniture is a bit much, and some is not really functional, but its still a great room, location, and service. Our room was very large with a balcony. Bed was comfortable, service was superb, and wifi was fine. I had a big birthday while I was there and my sons called the hotel from the US to arrange for a birthday cake and note to be delivered to our room. We got back to our room before dinner and there was this lovely decorated cake, display, note, big candle etc. The hotel did a great job and clearly went out of their way to make this happen. BRAVO! There was no parking at the hotel, but there is a garage just around the block that they have an arrangement with. Just reserve ahead with the hotel. The photos on the hotel website are indicative of the rooms and hotel A couple suggestions to those staying at the hotel: 1. dropping off your luggage - - the street the hotel is on is a very narrow street blocked at one end where you would walk on to Via dell'Indipendenza. In driving to the hotel to drop our bags off google maps had me turning right on to their street, Via dell’ Orso, from Viccola Quartirolo…do not do that. you are not supposed to drive there, plus its a one way (left only) and its very hard to make the right turn anyway given the narrow street and restaurant on the corner. The restaurant people told us to back up back on to Viccola Quartirolo…. Then make a left and then back up down the street to the hotel. When it was time to leave, we rolled our bags down to where the restaurant was and then I went and got the car and stopped right there when I made the left turn . 2. room darkening - the first night at the hotel I did not see any shades to stop the light coming in from the balcony. The next morning I realized there were shutter doors to close on the balacony …which I did not notice at night. Overall, between the location, service, and accommodations, I would highly recommend staying at the hotel.

Really lovely guest house in a great location, with good facilities both in the room and in the shared spaces which includes a kitchen and seating area. There were three of us staying in one of the rooms and it was spacious and comfortable! Our check in process was very straightforward and we found the communication from the team helpful and clear and they were always willing to support either during the reception hours or via WhatsApp. It’s in a great location too - about 5 minutes from Piazza Maggiore but also close by to good restaurants, markets and shops. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again. Thanks!
