Beautiful posh hotel with beautiful rooms. The indoor swimming pool is stunning. Morimoto restaurant is excellent. The historical building and the Philippe Starck design makes it really special. The service is impeccable. The outdoor garden is a great spot to have lunch.

This hotel knows all about hospitality and puts it into practice. We were looked after from the moment we drove in through the entrance. This applied to the valets, reception staff and restaurant staff at dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed every moment. My husband has limited mobility and this was never a problem at the hotel. Thank you

A new luxury hotel in Bordeaux town with an excellent spa and a Japanese restaurant with a good wine list. Designed by French architect Philippe Starck, it is owned by Les Carmes Haut-Brion, one of the most exciting producers in contemporary Bordeaux. Hotel is well located within a walking distance to the cafes, design and antique shops in Chartrons.

Welcoming staff. Small bedrooms and even smaller showeroom. No proper bar. Incompetemt barman- does not know what a malt is! No proper sitting lounge i.e. three small tables/chairs (when we were there one of them was occupied by a hotel manageress who first was lowdly discussing the wine list with a suplier and then, the salary of a potential new employee!

A magnificent hotel, housed in an ancient building with a renovation that has allowed it to be equipped with all comforts. The location is not very central, but the rooms are splendid, finely furnished, with attention to detail. It's difficult to do better, even from a management point of view: friendly and helpful staff, professional reception, breakfast served in the restaurant with a rich buffet (only in this case the cappuccino took a little longer than expected...) . The minibar in the room is richly equipped, including quality bottles. Prices appropriate to the category of the hotel and the comfort it offers.
