"Great stay with friends. Room is slightly on the small side but we didn’t mind that as we didn’t spend much time in the room. Food and drink price and quality was great and the wine was delicious. Only downside was the internet kept dropping out whilst on work calls. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely little room not too far away from the centre of all things happening in the centre.tranaport links are really good and the public transport system itself is so efficient. The room has a small kitchen filled with essentials for cooking light meals - hob, microwave and kettle. Sink prepared with things to wash dishes too. Also delighted to find we had a drip stand coffee machine! The room is compact but absolutely everything you need. There is a huge gate at the front of the property which means it's really safe. Neighbourhood was ok but would be walking quickly if I was on my own, however I didn't feel the need to get a taxi once. Bathroom has a hairdryer! Lovely graffiti artwork around the property as well."

"It was my first time to Bordeaux, France, and I chose Hotel 56 among many hotels. It is a brand new hotel that has only been opened for 9 months. I like it very much, because one hotel has doubled my favorability towards the entire city👏 Location: Very good, 400-500 meters away from Bordeaux Railway Station. The hotel faces the uniquely shaped art gallery and the sparkling Doron River~ Food: I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and purchased 3 days of breakfast at the hotel. The food was fresh and sufficient, and the quality and taste were great~ I also had a good afternoon meal in the hotel restaurant. The quality of the red wine and snacks was very good, and the price-performance ratio was very high~ Service: I met several guys at the front desk who all spoke English very well, there was no pressure to communicate, and their attitude was sincere. They sincerely provided services to every guest~ Recommended, recommended, recommended🫶🏻🫶🏻"

"The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a big market next to it with various snacks and nightlife. If you get up early, you should have fresh seafood. There is also a wine city where you can visit the winemaking process/taste different wines. The queen bed room we stayed in had a very high ceiling, and it was very comfortable to sleep in even if it was not a very large room. The first floor was as high as the second and third floors, and it was very quiet. The room was also very clean, the sheets were all changed, and the bathroom was very spacious. The public area was great, and it was not as flashy as other hotels. There was a puppy area, a photo booth, and especially a large terrace outside with sofas and lounge chairs, which was great. There was also a big screen to watch the game. You can eat and drink in the public area, and many guests chat here. The front desk service was very enthusiastic, and they spoke English very well, and the experience was great."

"Quiet even in the middle of pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux! Breakfast buffet with a wide choice, both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, canister coffees, coffee beans, teas, etc. and obviously a platter of cannelés, a tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!"

"It was my first time staying in a Hostel and I was nervous. However, when I arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was new and comfortable and the room was very quiet. The hostel has basic kitchen including a fridge and cooking facilities to make breakfast and a coffee. Also, it has a restaurant and swimming pool. The location was perfect, only 7 minutes walking distance to Gare St Jean train station. So easy to go to the city center as well as catch a shuttle bus '30 Direct' to the airport. I had an excellent experience and a good time to see Bordeaux in 3 days."

"The entrance of this hotel in Bordeaux is small, it is only a single door, in the back streets, there are one-way streets that cannot turn around and are difficult to drive. Long parking is not allowed. Self-driving cars have to stop and walk for five minutes in the underground public parking lot of Bordeaux Exchange Square , 25 Euro a night. The hotel has its own restaurant, the front desk and other pictures are quite different from what is provided online. They are actually simple and all self-service. The accommodation only gives a very retro key, which must be handed over to the front desk every time you go out. The elevator in the hotel is very small, the room is small, the bed in the triple room is small, and the bathroom is also small. The room has a double-layered window that can be opened, carpet floor, good hygiene, and complete toiletries. Do not open the windows at night, because outside is a garbage dump, it is very noisy in the middle of the night, and there are always loud noises of loading and unloading. The hotel is close to major attractions on foot, low cost performance, not suitable for parent-child travel."

"Spacious and bright, it looks very clean and tidy. Hair dryers are not provided, and you need to pay a deposit of 10 euros at the front desk, which can only be paid in cash. You can return the hair dryer and get the deposit back. Although the elevator says that luggage storage is charged, they actually do not charge luggage storage fees. Washing, toilets and bathrooms are all separate, which is quite unexpected. This hotel is opposite the train station, a one-minute walk."
