This hotel feels like a motel, the prices are very expensive and not worth it. The location is good, just across the road from Moonstone Bay. The service is OK, although not a regular hotel-style service. The air conditioner in the room is very old and noisy. Soundproofing is average. The breakfast is very simple American style, with boiled eggs which is good 😆

stayed here on our way to So Cal. Loved this place and will definitely return. We have stayed at a few places on Moonstone Beach Drive and the Castle Inn has been one of our favorites! Loved the view, the staff and the fire pit!!

We loved everything about our stay at the Castle Inn in Cayucos. We arrived early and they let us check early since our room was clean. The room was extremely spacious and very clean. We thought the adorable origami towels shaped like swans was a perfect touch. And the best part was the price. It was very reasonable. If we get a chance, we will definitely stay again.

Great location, clean, beautiful view, friendly staff, affordable, great self-serve breakfast, and we loved the outdoor fire pit and seating. We didn't try the pool or hot tub, but were told by guests that it was heated and clean!

The room was very clean upon check in and we were also recommended restaurants and some tips about getting around from the front desk. Really enjoyed the stay :)
