Premier inn has declined remarkably in customer service in recent months and the rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. For the third time in a month none of the automated terminals to check in were working and either the staff were too busy serving in the bar or simply unavailable on arrival resulting in a long wait to actually get to my room. No comfortable armchair and room had not had the heating turned on. The new Travelodge rooms are far superior and they always pre heat their rooms.

Excellent service, friendly staff. Great priced drinks and food. Bus rote close to access city centre. Overall very impressed. Having moved from a different hotel that day, I was hoping that it was an improvement and it certainly didn't disappoint, couldn't have asked for a more comfortable clean and friendly place to stay. Would definitely go back 100%

Great value for money, from the staff, the food quality, the room and overall package, very impressed. Staff at check in and breakfast all polite, efficient and friendly. Room was clean and perfect for what we wanted. Check in was easy and quick, as was parking. Have not stayed in a Prem inn before but will definitely from now on.

Second time me and my family have stayed here. I have 2 young children and all the staff were absolutely amazing with them. The rooms are clean and the hotel is very modern and lovely. Nothing was to much trouble from staff and they treated my children absolutely amazing. Will be back!

We went for the Premier Plus room mainly so we had a fridge. The hotel is very clean and modern. The room was quite small, especially the bathroom which was probably one of the smallest of all the Premier inns I been to. Also the bed was a double not king-size which I think should be standard in a premier plus room. We had breakfast 2 mornings and evening meal once. The evening meal was as expected. Nice chips and all was good. Breakfast wasn't the best experience. We ordered porridge both mornings. The first morning I had to ask for a second time because they forgot. The 2nd morning it didn't arrive at all! The cooked food ran out often or has completely run out and there was none. The unforgivable item was no butter either day! I was told it was because they had been busy! Poor excuse! How could it be allowed to run out of butter? It's not like butter is an item that needs to be fresh every day. Probably won't return here as the Premier inn at Llantrisant was better overall.

This is a very busy and on the whole well organised hotel. There are no other eateries or hotels nearby, so it attracts a lot of guests. But this means there is no competition. It delivered pretty much what I expect from the premier inn. I was disappointed with the meals. Staff were lovely, but the service was slow. The meal choices were poor and the portions very small. The heating/air con did not work. I wasn't in my room for long enough to ask for help with this. The duvet was warm. I think the staff worked very hard and were always cheerful and pleasant.
