The hotel looks new and the facilities are maintained well. The breakfast is ok, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It was a pleasant stay. Live band was a highlight. The only mark down is that there isn’t clear separation of smoking and nonsmoking area in the bar. I was torn between wanting to enjoy the live band but want to stay away from second hand smoke.

Very new hotel. Buffet is especially good. Although the hotel is slightly far away from city centre, the metro is just right next to the hotel.

Hardware is splendid, software is subpar. Instead of a warm welcome during check in, we got a "cold and robotic" reception which is not something we would expect from a JW Marriott label. Maybe good help is difficult to recruit these days 😒

You would expect a 5 star hotel to be clean and provide excellent service… however we were disappointed especially after my friend recommended me to stay here since he was here a month ago. First thing I noticed was a wet floor after entering the guest lobby, thankfully they cleaned it after I told them. Second was our room was not clean, other than the basics like clean sheets and bathroom but the main table wasn’t wiped and they didn’t even vacuum the floor (especially the carpet) at check in and the day after. When we were checking in, the reception staff did not even inform us of how to access the wifi (maybe it is assumed to be common sense) nor did they let us know that we had late check out, had free mini bar soft drinks and we also had no welcome note (these small touches may seem minuscule since the TV says welcome however you would hope that an extra mile is taken at a great brand like JW Marriott). I hope these issues are able to be rectified for other guest, after all information and attentiveness is king in the service industry. The location is also not the most central but that is a personal preference given my short trip! I will have to give a special mention to the male receptionist that helped us a lot with our alipay, thank you again 😊

suggest to allow the guest open window in a 10 centimeters length, as a new hotel strong smell is normal but take hotel maintenance prior to guest comfort is not right. There’s always a way to make both sides happy i.e. do not seal the window at the first half year of opening. In room dining is always a challenge to a new hotel but guest wouldn’t care when they received sloppy lasagna, over night taste fried rice and warm smoothie. Same level hotel room service in Europe and US are fresh and crispy, in China seems very straggle to make same standard.

The hotel's decoration, hardware, environment and service are quite satisfactory. Ctrip offers breakfast for two consecutive days, which is very cost-effective. The location is close to the subway, which is convenient. The floor is high and the view is good. You can see the night view at night. Are the toiletries unified by Marriott and Sheraton? I think they can be improved. The mattress is quite comfortable, but the default short pillow is not so comfortable. I see that the pillow can be selected at the head of the bed and has not been changed. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Changsha

The hotel is very beautifully decorated, high-end style ~ low-key luxury, infinity pool, the water temperature is just right! Rich breakfast ~ Thanks to the duty manager Angelina for helping us solve the problem and thoughtfully helping to make anniversary decorations! And the supervisor Miss Alya will answer any questions I have during my stay ~ I look forward to staying at this hotel when I return to Changsha ~

Stayed on the 48th floor, the view is great. The subway is 200 meters away from the door. I took the subway to May Day Square during holidays but couldn't get up. Haha, I caught up with Xi'erqi. Happy hour evening appetizer hot food: tastes very good, not many types, but very delicate, the rice noodles are better than those on the third floor. You can see Orange Island in the distance. Double self-service afternoon tea: very suitable for rest after playing tired, more for users' spontaneous publicity. The elevator is very fast, and my ears hurt a little. The TWG black tea in the room is good. The fruit was not given away, and one was compensated after the problem. There are only four bottles of water in the room, which is not enough. The bath towels are for three people, which is much more convenient. The room facilities are very good, the curtains are good, and they are automatically doubled. The electronic alarm clock is really redundant and has bugs. The battery life is very good, and there are bath salts. The children took baths twice. The overall management of the hotel is very good. The service awareness is very strong. When I checked in, the room price was lower than before, probably because of the continuous rain. Let's talk about the breakfast on the third floor. It has no special features. It's very ordinary. It can't be said to be good or special in the same price range. It's not outstanding. What I don't understand the most is that I went there at 8:30 and was told that there were no dumplings. OK. Rice noodles and rice vermicelli have no Changsha characteristics, especially the beef and radish marinade, which is mostly radish and the beef is very hard. It's not delicious. This needs to be improved. As soon as you enter the restaurant on the third floor, you can smell the fishy smell of seafood. Compared with the front desk on the 35th floor, the contrast is too big. It needs to be improved.

Let me seriously comment! Take the initiative to comment! There are not many hotels in this hotel! I have stayed here several times since its opening. I am getting more and more satisfied! I specially looked at the comments of the previous stay at JW, haha~ The front desk told me that the packed breakfast was relatively small. I seem to have commented on it in 22 years. The breakfast portion this time is not small, but, maybe there is a bottle of water or a cup of yogurt missing. I also suggested to the hotel whether milk can be put in the mini bar in the room? In addition, there were welcome fruits and desserts in the previous stays, but not this time. I am a heavy lover of desserts, so when there is no check-in and night bed, I miss it a little. The first time I stayed in a twin room, a 1.4-meter twin bed, the couple brought their 1.75-meter-tall son to stay, and it was not cramped at all! It is recommended that parents who travel with children come to stay at Marriott! If you are traveling alone or as a couple, I highly recommend the JW suite! ! ! It is definitely nicer than the St. Regis! Although it belongs to Marriott~ The hotel front desk is very good! They also let us check out late, and after check-out, they let the adults and children rest and eat snacks in the executive lounge! Thank you very much! When I come to Changsha again, I will stay at JW again! I wish it will get better and better!

When I first came to Changsha, I chose JW Marriott Hotel. I was not disappointed when I arrived at the hotel. There were many surprises. From checking in at the front desk to entering the room, I was very satisfied👍 The room hardware and some intelligent controls are also very good. In short, it's great! The bathtub in the room is beautiful with a disposable bath bag. I soak in it every day. Great! The only thing missing is that the pillow is not good. It is not very comfortable.
