The room had a great, comfortable view, and the blackout curtains worked so well that when I woke up in the morning, it felt like the middle of the night – fantastic!"

"For around $15 a night, I guess this hotel is not a bad deal, but it really depends on your expectations. The staff were friendly and genuinely tried to make our stay comfortable. The bed was clean and surprisingly comfortable, which was definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the room itself was very tired and not particularly clean. Peeling paint, worn-out surfaces, scratches, and signs of age were everywhere. The building was also in pretty poor condition and had a rather depressing atmosphere. Of course, it's hard to expect much for $15 a night, and having a private room with a comfortable bed is certainly better than staying in a hostel. But here's the dilemma: for just $10–20 more per night, you can find significantly better options in the city. And that makes it difficult to recommend this place. So I'm honestly a bit torn. For the price, it's probably acceptable, and the staff deserve credit for their hospitality. But the overall condition of the property leaves a lot to be desired. If you're on an extremely tight budget, it might work. Otherwise, I'd strongly suggest spending a little extra for a much better experience."

The room was clean, tidy, and spotless. The hotel also offers free coffee and milk, which is a nice touch. Highly recommend! I would definitely choose this place again if I come back to Changsha. Highly recommend!"

Not only did I successfully make an appointment to a room exactly the same as the promotional picture, there was no disappointment with the wrong board, and the password lock design was particularly intimate, and there was no need to contact the staff during the whole process, and the privacy was full. The location is even more amazing. The hotel is across the road from the Window of the World and the Underwater World. When other tourists are still queuing for a taxi, I walked to the attraction in a few minutes, saving time and worry. I really recommend going to these two attractions, or to the Hunan Convention and Exhibition Center for friends to choose here, the price is super high!"

There was also a good spread of fruits, juices, milk, soy milk, and coffee – everything you could want. Breakfast is available from 8 AM to 1 PM."

The pool was on the shorter side but well-maintained, and luckily it wasn't crowded. It was still fine for swimming. The water temperature was a little on the low side; I'd suggest adjusting it to around 29 degrees Celsius."

"Bringing my whole family, including seniors and children, to Changsha for the National Day holiday, choosing the Sheraton Changsha Hotel was such a wise decision! During the National Day period, the hotel offered a free shuttle bus directly to Orange Island and Wuyi Square, saving us from the hassle of hailing taxis and getting stuck in traffic. It's right in the city center with metro and bus stations downstairs, meaning less walking for the elderly and kids. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was so soft; after a day of sightseeing, we slept incredibly well."

"The hotel is located at the beautiful confluence of the Xiangjiang River and Liuyang River. The stunning views from the 23rd floor are unobstructed, and the Three Halls and One Pavilion are just downstairs, within walking distance! Beichenhui being right next door is incredibly convenient! The Xiang Xiu Chinese Restaurant within the hotel offers authentic and affordable cuisine, and the floor attendants are diligent, warm, and provide excellent service! The breakfast is plentiful and varied! Especially the rice noodles, a favorite of Changsha locals, taste truly authentic! The front desk even thoughtfully upgraded our room when they saw we had a child with us, making for a very comfortable experience! Many thanks to InterContinental Changsha! And thanks to the lovely front desk staff for upgrading our room! We will definitely choose InterContinental Changsha Beichen again next time we visit Changsha!"
