Hotels in Changshu Downtown Area, Changshu

I booked this hotel when I went to climb Yushan Mountain in Changshu. Considering it was during the Qingming holiday, the price was quite good. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, offering great value for money. Friends visiting Changshu should definitely consider it. There's also a fantastic restaurant near the hotel with amazing big meat buns and all-you-can-eat congee. The owner is very kind, and the food exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

The hygiene and environment are both great, and the service attitude is especially wonderful! I'd like to give a shout-out to the lady at the front desk who helped with check-in; she was very thoughtful and helped us upgrade to a room with a balcony. The facilities are also very complete. You can even access the mall across the street directly from the hotel's second floor via a sky bridge – the view of Qinhu Lake is really nice! The only minor drawback is that the room door isn't very soundproof. You can hear conversations in the corridor crystal clear, especially in the morning. If you happen to have kids staying next door, their chattering, and the constant opening and closing of doors make it impossible to sleep in.

This is a brand-new Atour hotel, and its location is excellent. It's super convenient whether you're heading to Yushan, Shanghu, or the pedestrian street. What's even more impressive is their service; it truly feels human-centered throughout. This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit Changshu.

This hotel was an amazing experience! The smart home features throughout were a thoughtful touch, and the gym, laundry room, restaurant, and parking facilities were all excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and our room was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. There's even a self-service coffee machine and tea in the lobby – they really paid attention to all the little details. My stay here was fantastic!

The room was great. The bedside table had a wireless phone charger, the gym had relatively extensive facilities, and the laundry room had a washing machine that automatically added detergent, and the dryer was also very powerful. The breakfast was good! The downside was that the room was a bit cramped.

A comfortable sofa by the window provided a relaxing spot to enjoy tea and the view. The lighting throughout the room was adjustable to suit different needs. Cleanliness was impeccable; the bathroom glass and mirrors were sparkling clean and watermark-free, the toilet was thoroughly disinfected and odor-free, and even the toiletries were sterilized at high temperatures. Even hard-to-reach areas like under the bed and corners of tables were meticulously cleaned. The hotel's facilities were comprehensive, with a fully equipped and regularly cleaned gym, and a laundry room with dryers and detergent – ​​perfect for business travelers. The 24-hour concierge service was responsive and readily available, quickly resolving any needs. Breakfast is a buffet with freshly ground coffee. Waiters promptly clear away empty plates during your meal, providing attentive and undisturbed service. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation nearby. There are convenience stores and restaurants downstairs, making it easy to get around and shop. Returning to the hotel at night is also very safe. From check-in to check-out, there were absolutely no complaints. The facilities, service, environment, and details were all top-notch. A five-star rating is well-deserved, and I will definitely stay here again next time!

This is a newly opened hotel with comprehensive facilities, and most importantly, it's incredibly clean and hygienic. We chose this place mainly because of its excellent location; it's not far from Qin Lake, Shang Lake, Kuncheng Lake, and Shajiabang. Plus, there's a Northern Garden Hotpot restaurant downstairs, which is very tasty and also recently opened. We checked out in the morning, and while we were enjoying Shang Lake afterwards, we received a call from the front desk. They said we had left a face wash in the room. Honestly, we had intentionally left it because there wasn't much left, but the front desk thought we'd forgotten it and called to ask if we still needed it. This really shows how dedicated and responsible they are. After we got home, we realized our child's pillow was left in the restaurant during breakfast. We didn't have high hopes of finding it, but when we called to ask, the front desk immediately helped us search and quickly called back to say they found it, promising to mail it to us. These two incidents really highlight the professionalism and responsibility of both the front desk staff and the restaurant staff. Changshu is a small city, and its attractions aren't particularly stunning. However, it was the warm and thoughtful service at this hotel that left us with such wonderful memories.

I found it temporarily in the afternoon of the check-in day. The most attractive thing is that the price has a special offer and the room size is large. Opposite is RT-Mart, and the dining on the side is enough to cope with breakfast. It is also close to the Fangta Garden that I am going to the next day.

In the past 12 months, I have stayed in over 80 hotels around the world. More than 60 in China. Many of them are positively memorable. The Mehoud perhaps tops all of them in terms of unexpected delight. Physically the hotel is a design bonanza. Recently opened, inspiring u architectural details and finishes are evident throughout. Amenities are excellent. Luxury bath robes and bath towels, small gym with good weights, a pool, laundry machines... It is one of the few hotels with balconies and terraces allowing access to fresh air However, its greatest asset is undoubtedly the management and staff. The general manager seems extraordinary. Sometimes tending the coffee shop, greeting guests in the restaurant, and roaming the hotel. Wait staff go out of their way to accommodate guests, and so many speak at least a little bit of English

Simple hotel with good value for money. Make sure you get a slightly more expensive room with a window. Nice bonus: the room had a bluetooth speaker. Staff does not speak English as usual in smaller Chinese towns.
