Stayed in suite with sea view. The view was amazing. The room was lovely, bed super comfy. There was a nice vanity table to get ready at. Bathroom was big and clean. The service at reception were very helpful. The location was great right in old town but not too noisy - music from restaurant in evening but I liked it and church bells on Sunday. I really enjoyed my stay here and was very happy with the suite. Couple of things to point out: there was no furniture on the balconies and aside from a pouf, no furniture in room to move outside. So meant nothing to sit on to enjoy balcony and it’s view. Also the curtain was only half curtain so to block out light need to shut the shutters which then restricts air. I didn’t mind but if you want darkness to sleep might need to bring eye mask. Like I said only minor things. Overall great place. Hot water - i mention as I know this is important to people :)

We visited this well run hotel - 19th - 27th September - all the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Our room 406 was very well appointed and bed very comfortable. Airconditioned which we used when the nights were hot. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The hotel is in a good position, just moments walk to the Old Town, and a 12-15 minute to the nearest beach. Breakfast excellent choices of hot & cold food, with local selection of cakes, savoury and sweet Cretin pies. Local selection of bread and large selection of unusual jams and breakfast spreads. I would like to thank personally Nikos (Food & Beverage Manager)- for his friendship and ensuring that our breakfast meal was being enjoyed. He spoke to us personally each morning and he gave us some good information of places to visit outside Chania. Also I would like to thank - Emmanuella (Front of House- Reception)- again her friendship and she would also talk to us every time we passed the front desk. She again gave us very valuable information of places to visit, and organised taxi's and booked a day-trip by coach and boat. Emmanuella was again very polite, helpful yet professional, and helped make our holiday most memorable. A big thank you also to Necteria (breakfast server)- every morning she spoke to us, and remembered our breakfast order, she was so kind and helpful. First of all, l will get the negative points out, which are not alot, only 3 small points. 1 was the bathroom....very small, we had to stand in the shower to be able to close the door when entering the bathroom as there wasnt enough room to move around ! 2nd the tv kept losing the stations, therefore, we could not watch any tv. And lastly, the ”dressing table” had the mirror so high, l had to sit on 2 pillows to be able to see myself (and l am not a short person !) But as for the rest .......The enormous bed gave us the best sleeps ever, it was a spacious room, very quiet as we did not have a seaview, which suited our mood fine ! The breakfast was at the hotel nearly next door, and had a very luxurious breakfast on offer from fresh fruit to fried eggs......fresh bakery items lots of choices. The girl behind the counter l think Constandina was extremely helpful. she even made us a breakfast bag as the day we were leaving was very early, which we found very considerate of them. In all, it was a very pleasant experience

Lovely friendly little hotel with amazing staff. Great rooms and bathroom - ours was a two bed with massive balcony (cost about £5 / week more than a one bed!) The power shower was amazing - water from 5 different points! and water pressure and temperature perfect. Nice pool and garden though it was a little cool when we visited. Nice lift to upper floors - with glass side so as not claustrophobic like most small lifts. Breakfast very good for such a small hotel (only about 5 rooms in use when we stayed) with great choice of pastries and continental stuff, which I don’t normally eat but made a big exception this time. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, the cook made us omelettes every day on request (no one else got these and everyone else looked jealous) Ample free parking and hotel was only 200m from the beach and the bus routes. Some decent restaurants in the area or walk into Chania (about 1.15 hours) or get a bus. Hotel new and spotlessly clean, decent wifi, and other facilities including fancy coffee maker (but would have preferred a kettle) Would definitely recommend and would certainly return if I ever visit Chania again

We arrived after midnight as our flight was delayed , we were greeted by a lovely young man who helped with our cases and showed us to our room. The room was very nice, modern and clean, great ensuite shower room., fridge with bottles of water. We went back to the bar and were able to get drinks before going to bed. The breakfast was good, nice terrace to sit outside. Loved this hotel, great place to stay near the airport and easy to find with a sat nav, highly recommend. Brilliant staff.

Can only echo all the other reviews. From the moment you enter the clean smart reception there is an air of total relaxation. all of the staff were very attentive without being over the top. Special mentions go to Manager owner Petros whose genuine customer service and caring sets the culture for the entire hotel to restaurant staff Manolo and Anastasia both of whom are great characters and made the stay extremely enjoyable. The food was absolutely AMAZING the milanese risotto with ossobucco takes a lot of beating but this was surpassed by the lobster and scallop soup (see photo). We could not fault the room either. Yes is was one of the top rooms the dome suite 532 and yes the views from both inside and the pool were great. There was the coastal rd but did not interfere with the relaxing vibe. Prices within the hotel were very fair, often cheaper than outside (which is fantastic based on the quality). The Cretan wines recommended by Manolo were some of the best we have experienced. Would certainly book this again, just looking for the excuse now.

The hotel is very close to the bus station and walks for 5 minutes. The room facilities are very new, clean and the breakfast is very non-rich. The hotel is not a 24-hour front desk. When there is no staff, you need to call the staff to come, so if you book this hotel, it is best to call in advance to make an appointment for check-in time. Although we waited for a while, the hotel promptly expressed their apologies and sent small snacks. The hotel is very attentive and recommended to stay.

A lovely hotel along with really friendly and helpful staff. I sometimes have found the good customer service in Greece can be a hit or miss affair but not so at the Kriti hotel, they always had a friendly hello and eager to help. I never saw the cleaners but they did a brilliant job. We had complimentary Raki, bowl of fruit and two waters which was a very welcome and nice touch. Breakfast was amazing every day and the fresh orange juice is something I will miss. I'm still a little disappointed by tea but I don't think I've ever had a nice cuppa while in Europe, need to start bringing my own tea bags lol. We never had room service or drinks from the mini bar despite them being reasonably priced, (1.50 euro for water, which isn't far off market rate) To be honest I'm always confused why hotels put such a large mark up on drinks in the mini bar compared to a corner shop because surely they would have more sales if they just charged a market rate. The hotel is really well located, 10 minutes from the harbour and 100s of places to eat and 10 mins from a beach. However I do think the beach being labelled as a beach is bit of an over statement. It's roughly 75 metres long and about 20 metres in depth from the harbour walls. There's plenty of places to swim however with showers and the waters beautiful. If you want a proper beach it's 25 minute walk to one in chania or a 10 minute but journey from town to sunset, iguana or golden sands beach on the number 21 which runs every twenty minutes and costs around 1.60 each way. The hotel is located slightly outside the hustle and bustle of the main port which increases it charm. Good to sleep but really easy access to the area. All in all a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thankyou

This is one of the most warm-hearted hotels! Especially in the middle of the night, I came to an unfamiliar city and met the staff who really waited for a long time. The kind of warmth is beyond words. Thanks to their dedicated service, I have a deep memory of the hotel's creed: HOSPITALITY COMES FROM HEART. Since we wanted to go to the Samaritan Grand Canyon the next morning, we did not know how to pick up the bus or ship. A touch of black. MR MARIOS on duty that night gave us the most patient help. At 6 o'clock the next day, I also asked the hotel's food and beverage department to prepare a rich breakfast for each of us. The hotel's room has two hair dryers, which is great for ladies with long hair or curly hair! Of course, there are ironing utensils. The warmest thing is that there are tea bags, not just coffee, which is really a seemingly insignificant but warm heart for Chinese tourists. The breakfast environment is very bright and clean. The waiters are plentiful, they are always watching silently around you and providing the necessary services in a timely manner. It is worth mentioning that even if there are many people, the whole dining atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. Under the sunshine, there is a pure and beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great value for money! Comfy and cozy, newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment. Great communication with the owners, easy check in- check out process. Free parking. Close to everything, in a quiet neighbourhood. They even added a complimentary bottle of wine 🍷. Couldn't ask for more. I will definitely rebook it whenever I go back to Chania, Crete.
