Rayfont Hotel Chengdu

I originally meant to book the Longemont Hotel, but made a mistake and ended up at Ruifeng. [Hardware/Facilities] The facilities are a far cry from the Longemont Hotel. The bed was saggy, and the pillows had an odor. The room had a rusty, damp, and musty smell. The bathroom conditions were also very poor, with the sink covered in limescale. [Service] The service was excellent. The front desk staff were polite and professional. They definitely deserve praise for that. The room was so terrible I didn't even bother taking pictures (the photos are just to get points).

The room had an odd layout, and the bathroom door was a two-in-one sliding door. When closed, there was a mirror directly facing the bed. The lighting was dim, ventilation was poor, and the room smelled moldy. Its only advantage was its proximity to the high-speed rail station. I didn't sleep a wink all night. The hotel is also very old and rundown. I definitely won't be staying here again.

This hotel is great, really close to Chengdu East Railway Station, making it super convenient as a transit hotel. There are also plenty of food options nearby. If you're heading to Jiuzhaigou, I highly recommend staying here as it has direct access to Chengdu East High-Speed Rail Station.

The hotel's overall environment and facilities are exceptionally impressive. Stepping into the lobby, guests are immediately greeted by a spacious and bright area, complemented by soft lighting and exquisite decor, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are equally satisfying; the beds are incredibly comfortable and soft, ensuring guests a quality night's sleep. The bathrooms are clean and tidy, with a full range of high-quality toiletries provided.

The only good thing about this hotel is its excellent location, with many restaurants nearby. However, the facilities are a bit old, the air conditioning system is noisy, and there's a strong odor coming from the bathroom. The service attitude was okay. I'm a bit disappointed and hope they can renovate the place.

Very close to Chengdu East Railway Station, convenient for travelers catching trains from there. I asked the front desk for a quiet room and got a high-floor room with a window, which was pretty good overall. It was a nice stopover for us on our way from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou.

The hotel is very close to Chengdu East Railway Station, so I wasn't worried about the rain in the morning. There's an underground passage to the plaza, so I didn't even need an umbrella. After a good breakfast, I could leisurely head to the station, avoiding traffic stress and getting more sleep.
