Booked a President room with a dining area and connected to the room next door. It is quite suitable for families. The room is clean, the necessary amenities are quite complete, the room is clean and new, the price is quite good. As for the location, if you know how to look at the map, you won't get lost. If you don't know how to look, you will definitely get lost.

This is the best hotel in Bangsaen for service, I had a talk with an expat operations executive coming to ask if I needed anything, and the security guard escorting us to our rooms was very helpful. Also FB is great, everything is delicious in breakfast line. Though the room is quite old and dated but understandable given it's the first hotel in the city. But there were some bird poop (I guess) on the balcony which was quite disgusting, I tried to understand that the hotel was closed for sometime during Covid (given some areas are under renovation and maintenance) so might still not be 100% open with 100% of manpower yet. Also the landscape was quite messy. Anyway, cleanliness is an important key as well, hope it will get better on my next stay! PS. I think there are better choices with this price.

The rather large hotel is located directly on the busy Beach Road. Since there is no direct connection to the sea I would hesitate to call this a resort. The main building is set back and there are two wings reaching forward like the claws of a crab. The tips are very close to the road and we were unlucky enough to get a room at the very end of the tip. Check in procedure was quick and efficient. The room is very standard and old-style. No electric outlets at the beds and not that many on the other side. Curtains are not light proof. There is a fridge but there are only two bottles of water in it. Not easy to understand why there are no drinks, I am happy to pay for them. The A/C is very loud. Any attempt to control the fan speed failed. Whatever the setting, it remained at full speed, or so it seemed. The bathroom sink has a stop that is always closed. After washing hands or cleaning teeth you need to stick your hand in the dirty water in order to pull the plus and drain the sink. There is room service for food at a good price and as the only restaurant open was an unpleasant looking bakery shop we had food sent to the room. This was quite OK, but the only place to eat it was at a table on the balcony. Out there it is very loud from the street noise and the irritating whining of the jet ski's on the sea. Not enjoyable or relaxing. So try the swimming pool. This is large but only 1.20 m deep. Just enough for swimming. Of the twelve (!) reclining beds that I counted none was free, so you have to sit on the stone ridge. I saw people with towels, but no idea how to get them. There was no staff at the pool. And then the worst part. It was a long weekend with lots of loud traffic on the Beach Road. Cars, trucks, motorcycles. Loud all night till the early morning, sometimes accompanied by fireworks. It eludes me how a caring host could give these noisy rooms to any guest. Breakfast is buffet style with enough choice. For coffee I would have preferred an espresso machine, the coffee served is mediocre. All in all I would rate the hotel no better than average. For the bad two nights I found that maybe a generous ”poor” would be appropriate. However, the core business and care of a hotel is to provide their guests with a good night's sleep. This I did not get for two nights, so my overall experience was terrible and so is my rating. I will never go back there.

The pool was perfect, clean and comfortable. I would recommend to add a small sauna near by the pool. The room is clean and new, has a nice view. An electric kettle and water is available, hot water and tea at the reception. Whole area of the house is new, clean and beautiful. I liked the swings. We used taxi and drivers always knew the exact building for drop off. Although I didn't have much options for breakfast. The porridge and soup I didn't want, neither fried egg. So only toasts with butter and jam left for me. I would really love to have usual sausages or ham for breakfast with the toasts. All other things were satisfying. My husband is really happy about everything there (especially about his double portion of shrimp soup which I left for him).

Well I love บางแสน as a fishing village/ resort mainly visited by Thais. Totally disagree with some of the earlier reviews, but I guess they love Pattaya and I don’t. To find a place that’s not over touristed by farang etc is not easy, but here it is. The East end of the beach is a working fishing village, quieter and more downmarket. So relaxing and natural. As to the hotel; do get a sea view room if you are doing more than an overnighter. It is cheep overall and so well worth a couple of hundred baht extra for the magnificent seascape view. The hotel is very basic. No tea making facilities, room safe, frilly pillows etc , but it’s very clean, in good decorative order, new linen and a very comfortable bed and blackout curtains. If you want the extras pay more and go to a mid price range hotel. You can’t have it both ways. The road outside was quiet. We experienced no problem with noise. Food can be delivered but there are lots of good local coffee shops and eateries. Do try “Eat Steak” just round the corner. Fantastic value and really well cooked food, both Thai and simply cooked meats (yes, with chips!) to suit any taste. Breakfast is available at 3 or 4 places overlooking the sea less than 2 minutes from the hotel. I came here for 2 days and stayed 5!

Outstanding
GGuest UserThis is a hostel on the beach of Bangsen. You can see the beach from the hostel, and when you check in, you put the key in the mailbox and tell you the location of the mailbox. It's not a hotel, it feels like a condo, and it's good to stay at a cheap price. I'll upload a picture around the hostel.
GGuest UserLocation is good with very clear signage at night on the main road. Plenty of parking spaces. Security staff is very generous, in which he directly bring us an umbrella as it was a bit raining when we arrived there. Receiptionist is very friendly. The hotel building seems still brand new and clean. It is also equipped with 1 lift/elevator and common area, where they sell cup noodles and other snacks for breakfast. The room is equipped with a small desk only on 1 side of the bed. There is also 2 glass bottle of drinking waters. Wifi is stable and super fast. TV only shows local channels. There is a small balcony, where the outdoor AC unit is placed. Bathroom is clean and equipped with a small electric water heater. No electric kettle for drinking tea/coffee is provided, although there is a small fridge in the room. Not much soundproof for the room, but we can still sleep tight because the bed is comfortable.
SSandy1031A rather pleasant place to stay in Bang Saen. We stayed in the One bedroom apartment for 3 nights and the 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights with relatives. Both apartments are very nice, and clean, but very basic. They are both situated in a 6 story block located at the extreme end of the beach road. The views from the apartment are stunning, looking out over the long narrow fisherman's wharf. So easy to sit by the picture window and watch the world go by. The only problem with the location is that no local transport goes up or down to the hotel, although, the hotel does have a shuttle service to take customers to anywhere local, but you need a local phone to call him back. The breakfast is very limited, in fact, almost non existent, but there are several 7/11 shops nearby and a laundromat just 2 minutes walk away. All in all, not a bad place to stay, and the staff were very friendly. Sandy Stirling.
GGuest UserThis hotel was newly built, and dont get me wrong, I know that this was 2 stars hotel and not to expected much. But for almost 1k baht in 3-star region, & staying in the middle of no where I would re-think again. The hotel was not near the beach. You can walk there if you have 30 minutes. 7-eleven around 5 min walk away which is ok. As the title say, the hotel look nice from outside as it was newly built. But that maybe all good they could show down. Checking in was ok no hazzle here. Getting in the room was what when we rethink what we had paid for 950 baht a night…. Room was small, 20 sqm at best. And other than some built in deco and a TV. Everything else looks mediocre like a student dormitory. At this price we expected something more like a cabinet or some wallpaper but no. The color paint on the wall and an unmatched color out of our taste was what brought down more but taste is arguable.. you guys might like.. maybe. Rest room was ok in mediocre style but in our room leakage of shower pipe and drainage clogged were found. They did offer free coffee. They did offer hairdryer in each room. Extra pillow charge 50 baht / ea Plenty of parking space available & we did feel safe to park. They have one elevator with 7 floors to serve? I will say it is not enough in prime time hurry. We will gladly pay around 6-700 baht to stay, but with current 950 baht rate they need much better decodation to feel the value.
GGuest UserThe sister at the reception desk was very enthusiastic and attentive. The room was large, the bathroom was a little simple, there was a small parking lot, and the seat was very convenient! The only drawback is that the soundproofing of the hotel is poor and there are too many bars nearby which make it a bit noisy at night!
GGuest UserNice hostess, surroundings is not spectacular. Vintage, clean apartment. Annoying dogs in the street barking.
Not far from the beach, within walking distance. I only have a photo of the beach. Litter everywhere, if you walk farther it's a bit cleaner.
PPanita MarryamThe bed was very comfortable. Close to the beach, just walk across the small road and you'll get there. There's a 7-Eleven in front. Quick service staff
There is a restaurant in front. Walk a little further and there are cafes and restaurants. The location is very good. Since it's next to the beach, food carts will surround it.
Walk a little further and you'll reach Bangsaen roundabout. There's a McDonald's, a coffee shop and a seafood restaurant.
But there is little parking. If there are full guests, there probably won't be enough parking. Even though we stayed on Sunday, there were few guests and the parking lot was still full.
And people who have a payment line may not be suitable because the hotel doesn't have one.
JJosephThe room was fit for my travel needs with my friend, who had his own room. Everything was fairly clean, there were some amenities, and free parking, although there's not much going on in this area - if you don't have a vehicle you will rely on grab. Luckily we had motorbikes. The staff were quite friendly and the checkout was smooth enough.
