Hongyan Holiday Riverview Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch)

Staying at the right hotel in Chongqing truly doubles the joy of your trip! For our holiday trip with the kids to Chongqing, we picked the Hongpu Holiday River View Hotel because it's so close to the attractions. This hotel is genuinely my dream room! It's just a 5-minute walk to Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong is right downstairs. No need to squeeze onto buses or subways – you can just wander around and enjoy food all day long. Plus, the front desk offers luggage storage. The river view room is absolutely fantastic! Open the window, and you're greeted by the Jialing River and the Qianximen Bridge. The bathtub is directly facing the floor-to-ceiling window! Taking a bath, gazing at the river, and enjoying a little drink – it couldn't be more perfect. I even bathed with my son in the evening, and they thoughtfully provided bath bags. Enjoying breakfast with a river view in the morning is a unique treat. They offer a Chinese and Western buffet, freshly made Chongqing noodles (you can choose the spice level 🌶️, with a rich broth and freshly fried pea and minced meat topping – a local favorite! ✅), hand-brewed coffee, milk, freshly baked bread, fruits… You need a full stomach to tackle those hills and stairs! The room details are top-notch: the soundproofing is excellent, and they've thoughtfully provided many small items like earplugs, cotton swabs, a hairdryer, bath scents, and even high-end woody-scented shampoo… Choosing this hotel made my trip so much more convenient. It saved time, effort, and the environment was simply wonderful.

Extremely satisfied! The room was spacious and bright, with a lovely river view outside the window. It's conveniently located near tourist attractions, and most importantly, the air conditioning was silent! It made for a very peaceful sleep.

The hotel perfectly showcases Chongqing's '8D' three-dimensional landscape: 1️⃣The 22nd-floor sky lobby provides direct access to Kuaixing Tower and Jiefangbei, and洪崖洞 is right downstairs, acting like an exclusive, multi-level transportation hub. 2️⃣The river-view rooms offer excellent vistas, especially those with window-side bathtubs, allowing you to privately enjoy the stunning night views of the confluence of the two rivers and the city skyline. If you're looking for a balance between 'efficient sightseeing' and 'immersive viewing' in Chongqing's core area, this will be your perfect hotel.

The location is super convenient! It's right between Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, so you can walk to all the attractions. Getting to other spots nearby is also a breeze; no need to squeeze onto the subway or hail a taxi. The room window faces the Qiansimen Bridge directly. During the day, you can enjoy the glistening river view, and at night, the city lights of Mountain City sparkle. You can immerse yourself in the view right from your bed or by the window, no need to fight crowds at observation decks. The room even has a bathtub, so you can relax while watching the night view outside – talk about vacation vibes! The room overall was clean, tidy, and comfortably laid out. The service and breakfast were also great. The front desk lady was incredibly gentle and kind, making check-in fast and smooth. Any questions I had were answered instantly.

Excellent location, very convenient transportation. There's a restaurant and supermarket right on the ground floor, which is super handy. You can walk to Hongyadong, and from the 22nd floor, you can access Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. It's a great hotel with spacious rooms! 👍👍
