Just finished a five night stay at The Regent Chongqing, was one of the best hotel experiences ever. Arrived at the start of the national three day Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival and was warmly greeted with two tasty green bean cake pastries in a traditional wood basket as a welcome amenity in the room. Breakfast has an abundance of options, everything fresh and delicious. Ate at the third floor Chinese restaurant twice and the dishes there are truly outstanding, some of the best tasting dishes I’ve ever tasted in Sichuan province and also rated as the second best restaurant in Chongqing on this website. Compared to some of the top tier restaurants in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, also very reasonably priced and affordable. What’s really nice is the hotel offers complimentary laundry service for up to three pieces per day which I thought was a very thoughtful service. Mini bar in hotel room also completely free and restocked daily. Water pressure in room’s shower was also very strong which made showering very enjoyable. Hospitality is really on another level here. During the stay I experienced: - A small soft cloth wipe was left next to my laptop since the staff noticed my laptop screen was a bit dirty - Staff during breakfast would go out of there way to ask if I wanted or needed assistance in preparing a bowl of noodles, per my request they kindly prepared one for me with the most popular condiments used by locals - One of the chefs during breakfast made it known if there was anything at all I wanted him to specially prepare for me he would gladly do it - Same chef (Mr. Swong), when he found out I would be departing for a day trip the next morning from the hotel at a very early hour (earlier than when the hotel breakfast dining would be open) made it be known that he would make arrangements for the hotel to prepare a bag of anything I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take with me so I could eat it in the car. Sure enough, the next morning at the front desk reception there was a bag waiting for me containing various fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, sticky rice, orange juice, banana, water, utensils. When I walked outside to the car that had arrived to pick me up, both the driver and tour guide remarked they had never seen a hotel ever do this for a guest and that this must be a really exceptional hotel. - A complimentary bowl of fresh fruit was delivered and left in my room - Upon check-out, received an immaculately wrapped gift box of Chongqing Small Noodles (dried, uncooked) which was accompanied by a specially prepared locally made peppercorn noodle sauce (wrapped in plastic), was actually the perfect gift since my Mom loves noodles and to see her face so happy and joyful upon receiving this gift brought me much happiness Everywhere in the hotel, from the hotel front desk staff, the bellboys and staff working outside the front door, the staff at the 7th floor bar, the staff at the breakfast dining, to the staff on the 3rd floor Chinese restaurant, was treated so warmly and courteously and staff so helpful and thoughtful too. Victoria was especially gracious and helpful as when I arrived, I didn’t know where to eat and after asking me a few questions with regards to my tastes and kind of ambiance I would like in a restaurant, she recommended a very popular local Chongqing Hot Pot restaurant just a few minutes away. This turned out to be great recommendation as the flavor of the hot pot was really great and the environment was more of a ‘hole in the wall’ place, very raucous and rowdy, just what I was looking for. She would also periodically check in to see if everything was going okay and if there was anything she could assist with. Will always be grateful to Victoria and the staff at Regent Chongqing for making my first trip to Chongqing so unforgettable and full of wonderful memories.

Situated waterside, this chic hotel boasts trendy décor and modern amenities, including high-speed internet. Our room offered a pleasant view, stylish furniture, and delightful sheets. Located on the tenth floor, it can be a bit tricky to find, but the Friday and Saturday night local market with pop-up bars and snack spots is a delightful surprise. Just across the bridge from major sights, it's cozy and well-connected to metro lines. Affordable with a nice morning espresso, the only drawback is smoking rooms, resulting in a slight mustiness. Nevertheless, it's a great value and recommended for its overall charm.

The hotel location is excellent. The service is superB! The front desk lady 陈雨欣 is very informative, helpful and attentive to your needs. She saved some night meals for me to eat even if I came back late. It was an awesome treatment. There are free stuffs and they will wash your clothes for free. Overall my experience at this hotel is 5⭐️ The room is spacious, clean, cozy and has free drinks. The breakfast differs every day. The amenities are great

The hotel is very good. This time I booked a room with a river view and a projector. It can be used for screen projection. It is very convenient and great. The hotel has a butler WeChat account. If you have any questions, you can contact the butler through WeChat. The problem is handled in a timely manner and the reply is also very fast. Butler No. 2 is very warm and friendly. There are also coffee and tea available at the front desk. If you need it, you can ask the butler to deliver it. You can also do laundry. The hotel's configuration and location are all very good. It is very convenient to travel and it is still very convenient to go anywhere.

The location of the hotel is easy to find. It’s the first time I stayed in this hotel. The environment is very good. I originally booked a city view instead of the river. The butler at the front desk 006 upgraded me to a river view, and I still look at Hongyadong. Thank you front desk staff. The room is well-equipped, simple yet grand. I like the style. I prefer the room with a couch. I like the room the hotel gave me very much. The scenery in Chongqing is also very good. The night view is so beautiful. I went to eat a delicious hot pot nearby with my friends. It was recommended by the hotel and the taste was very good. Next time I have a chance to come to Chongqing again, I will definitely buy this hotel again. The service is good and the rooms are clean and tidy. Friends can stay at ease.

highly highly recommend this hotel! 1. it is strategically located in the heart of chongqing. you can find many yummy food and easily get to the different tourist spots/local hidden gems. 2. very nice, comfortable rooms. clean and spacious with a good view of the neighbourhood 3. comes with a rooftop seating area. very clean and comfortable. awesome view without the crowd!!! 4. breakfast is available for redemption between 730am to 840pm from their sister company, a noodle house. very yummy and hearty. there have non spicy option if you cant take spicy food. 5. upon check out, they gave a small gift as a souvenir. it is local specialty snacks! shout out to staff number 5 and 11 and cleaning lady for their kind assistance throughout our stay. * i can write, speak and write mandarin well. so communication is not an issue. highly highly recommended! :)

The location is great! It is really invincible to Hongyadong, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Bayi Haochi Street. It is a few minutes walk to Hongyadong. It is super convenient. The hotel is in Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. The location is excellent. It really saves a lot of time to travel. Chongqing food is really good and delicious, the front desk service is very warm, there are questions and answers, the service provided is also very good, in the morning, I also drank the restaurant's self-service soy milk and buns for free in the restaurant. It was full of surprises. It was really good. Come back next time! ! !

酒店就在來福士正對面，樓層很高，視野特別好。房間十分乾淨，裏面還有小冰箱，投影儀，大浴缸，真的超級nice😄😄😄。酒店的小何利利非常熱情， 還親自帶我們去房間，必須點贊😄阿姨都是非常有禮貌喲，做衞生非常仔細。 整個入住體驗真的超級棒，一直忘記來評論了，是屬於我下一次去重慶依然會優先選擇的酒店。放兩張我們住的樓層的窗外風景，現場看房間的時候看到這一間不是完全對着江的，但我覺得對着這個建築也很好看就選了這一間。

A highly recommended service apartment at the heart of city centre. Walking distance to a number of attractions such as Shibati, Hongyadong, Liberation Square, Times Square etc. The accommodation also offers a beautiful scenic view overlooking the city and river. The night scenic view was also spectacular with the skyline view. The most impressive part is the level of service rendered. When I flagged some areas of concern to the staff, they immediately acted on it and offered their best for service recovery which is extremely commentable. Special thanks to 甜甜圈 and 杨川 (and other staff) for going beyond the extra mile to make my stay a comfortable and memorable one.
