The Westin Cincinnati

CHARGED EXTRA FOR NO REASON. Got something from alacarte charged 25.00 when it was 5.00 don’t stay unless you like getting nickeled and dimed 160.00 hotel cost 225 plus 100 extra on card for the forseeable future they claim up to 30 days its been over a week now, might not evwn see it enter my account at this point and i wouldnt be surprised.

The staff was friendly, very convenient for downtown shops and local restaurants.However, upon departure of the motel we decovered bed bugs.

The hotel was beautiful and all the staff members were nice and helpful. It was disappointing there was no breakfast provided and also there wasnt a shuttle to/from the ******.

I love The westin, and have stayed here several times. Very upscale and the lobby area is beautifully decorated. The only thing I didnt like this tine is the upgraded, high tech elevators. I would think they would be faster and more efficent, however, that is not the case. You have to hit the button, indicate which floor you're going to and then wait for an "assigned" that's going to that floor. The wait time at one point was 10 minutes for Elevator "D" to open it's doors, and then because it was so full, we waited another 5 minutes for it to come back again. When you're on a walker, have mobility and standing issues, this can be very painful.

For the price, I think there’s better options out there. We stayed one night. Paid extra for a “grand” room , called ahead and was told it included a couch. Our room did not have a couch. The reflective material of the mirror in the bathroom was peeling off the glass. There were no bags in any of the trash cans. We spilled water on the comforter and both called and walked down to the lobby to ask for a new one, never got it. Overall it was relatively clean and did the job for a one night stay. But we won’t be returning in the future.
