All of the staff are very helpful and informative. The most favourite during our stay is their Kindness, they keep on smiling while talking and everything. It covers all minus during the stay.

Value for money. Friendly staffs with good service. Hotel hosts are always helpful. Strategic location. Beautiful lake view with cottages just beside Lake Toba. Food are delicious. Easy to get help to rent motorcycle. The most appreciated part was hotel gave us a warm pick up from the harbour. Weather are cold and the mountain views are spectacular. Highly recommended to stay in this well-equipped hotel.

The hotel is quiet and isolated. Lake Toba is right outside the door. The hotel restaurant has delicious food. The deep blue Lake Toba outside the hotel is also a great place to watch the sunrise. The hotel has a very good value for money. The hotel includes a motorcycle rental service. Due to the remote location, the boat fee will be higher but reasonable (because it is really far away).

The vibe is quiet and laid-back ideal for anyone wanting to unwind, enjoy nature, and take in the views of Lake Toba. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the rooms are simple but comfortable. The reception office is far from parking spot. Quit exhausted back to back from my room to cafe. The breakfast also too simple. The rest is 5 star.

I recently stayed at the Samosir Cottage on Samosir Island from November 29 to December 1, 2024. The room was spacious, a significant plus. However, the toilet area required attention, with ants present, as mentioned in previous reviews. While this was acceptable for me, it's an area for improvement. What truly impressed me was the exceptional service from the receptionist. They clearly explained options and kindly upgraded us to a bigger room. Their helpfulness and professionalism made a significant difference in our stay. We booked two deluxe rooms, but the first room had a smoke smell, prompting us to request a change or upgrade. Overall, while there's room for improvement in bathroom maintenance and mattress covers, the Samosir Cottage's spacious rooms and excellent service make it a solid choice for those visiting Samosir Island.
