This stay made me very amazing. It is located in a small courtyard in a quiet country. The wooden courtyard door has a simple feeling. The stone steps have been extended to the main house. The spacious living room, open kitchen, and elegant book bar are all eye-catching. The accommodation room on the 2nd floor, the store layout has a unique flavor, there is a hot spring pool and swimming pool in the small courtyard, you can barbecue and dinner in the courtyard, all the layout reflects the store's intentions, is a good choice in leisure time.

The B&B is at the foot of the Panlong Mountain Great Wall. It is very close to the mountain along the plank road. The B&B has a coffee shop and simple meals all in one. The owner and his family are very attentive and friendly. The courtyard, room, and supplies are very stylish. It is clean and quiet…

Excellent hotel, excellent service, many cafes and restaurants nearby for every taste. 15 minutes walk to the metro. The price of accommodation includes access to the gym and swimming pool. The pool has a children's section of about 1.5 meters and a deep section of more than 2 meters. Breakfasts are delicious, including for Europeans. The attitude is friendly, the staff knows English. We took an apartment with 3 bedrooms and a living room. Very nice room, has everything - a washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, cooler, iron, refrigerator, stove, dishes, etc. The room is large, each bedroom has a toilet.

The room is large and clean. I stayed here with my children when it first opened many years ago. This time, I didn't find the facilities to be obviously old. There is a steam room next to it, so you can have a steam when you are tired. However, there were many weddings during the May Day holiday, and firecrackers were set off very early in the morning. The corridor was also very noisy because of the bride and groom, which affected my sleep. I suggest that those who get married in the future should go to the first floor!

We booked 2 rooms in total. The courtyard is very clean, comfortably decorated, and very quiet. It has a separate kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and living room. There is a rooftop on the top floor. The children had a lot of fun playing there and were reluctant to leave. The owner of the courtyard was very nice and provided very thoughtful service. We arrived at almost 9 o'clock that night and waited at the door. We reserved a parking space, which made us feel very cordial and comfortable. Private courtyard, leisure time, rest for two nights, and experience the slow life...

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful views. The private Spa Bath is really great. However, I was looking to get away and have some peace and quiet and relaxation, but this was absolutely not possible. The walls are super thin, I could even hear other guests phone ringing and conversations. There was a big family staying in the rooms next to me who were extremely loud. Parents shouting, kids running up and down playing in the passages with absolutely no consideration for others. So if you want to take a child-friendly holiday then this place is for you. If you want some relaxing alone time with peace and quiet then you probably should not consider this place. The food however is great if you like Cantonese and Chinese food. No Western options. If they could sound proof the walls, I’d definitely visit again.

I went on a trip out of town with my family and booked this homestay. We arrived a little late, but the owner was very welcoming. It was a little cold in the mountains due to the rain, so the air conditioner in the room had been turned on. It was very warm in the room, clean and tidy, with complete supplies. When I got up in the morning, I saw lush greenery and fresh air outside the window. Standing on the second-floor terrace, I could see mountains and peaks, like a painting. There is also a swimming pool on the first floor. It is also very nice to bring children to swim in the warm weather. The breakfast is rich and nutritious, and the experience is perfect.

Absolutely five-star praise 🫰👍! The room is very big, and there is even a big dining table. It feels like home after entering. The bedding is very clean and comfortable. This night was the most peaceful night for our family of three in Beijing in five days. The price-performance ratio is absolutely high. There is a large supermarket downstairs of the hotel, a food court opposite, McDonald's and Quanjude around the corner, and there are many places to eat around. It is very close to the Bird's Nest, Water Cube, and Party History Museum. It takes more than ten minutes to ride a shared bicycle. It is also close to the subway entrance. It is very convenient. I will definitely choose here next time I come to Beijing.

The Palace Museum (Forbidden City)

The Forbidden City, known as Gugong in Mandarin, once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is a symbol of ancient China. Although it is no longer China's political center, you can still feel its former glory once you are surrounded by the high walls in the courtyard.

Walking through the gates of the Forbidden City feels like stepping back in time. The grandeur of the imperial architecture and the vast collections of artifacts are mesmerizing. Plan to spend a good amount of time here to fully appreciate the history and beauty.

Badaling Great Wall

The Badaling Great Wall in Yanqing, Beijing, is a pass for the Ming Great Wall. As the saying goes, "You are not a hero until you reach the Great Wall." Most locals consider this spot the start of the ascent of the Great Wall. The Badaling Great Wall is the most complete section among the various great walls in Beijing.

The total length of this section is 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) with 43 watchtowers; however, only 2.3 miles (3.74 kilometers) and 19 watchtowers have been restored and opened to visitors. Compared with other sections, most stairs are not very steep and equipped with handrails, so it is relatively easier to climb.

Climbing the Great Wall at Badaling is an unforgettable experience. The views are stunning, and the history is palpable. It’s a bit of a climb, but the sense of achievement and the breathtaking scenery are well worth it.

Summer Palace

Situated in the Haidian District northwest of Beijing, the Summer Palace is a Unesco World Heritage site that used to be the palace and garden of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty.

It is the largest and most well preserved royal park in China. Construction of the palace began in 1750 and it served as a residential and entertainment area for the royal members. The palace underwent two major reconstructions after suffering damages during invasions by the Anglo-French Allied Forces and the Eight-Power Allied Forces during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Summer Palace is a vast and stunning area of lakes, gardens, and palaces. It's a perfect place to spend a relaxing day. The scenery is beautiful, and the history is fascinating. Don’t miss the boat ride on Kunming Lake! If you go to the east of the Summer Palace towards Gyeongbokgak and Iksudang, there are no people and it is quiet. I liked it the best there.😏

HHumphrey JrOverall I would say we enjoyed our stay, I was looking for a good place to bring my girl and treat her and She loved it!The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The location is pretty far but it’s quite worth it, the view from the balcony is amazing. So if you’re looking for a get away from the city this is the right place, it’s very quiet and peaceful.

DdyhxMy first Orange Hotel stay and it's exceeded my expectations. Being a local chain known for its budget style, I was imagining Ibis type but it turned out much better. The hotel looks old from the outside but this being a newly opened one, everything inside looked clean and modern. Smart lifts where my room level is automatically detected once the card is scanned. I got a smart room that's controlled by Xiao Du小度 (their equivalent of Siri / Alexa). I had fun commanding Xiao Du to adjust the aircon temperature and switching on/off the TV, lights and even the curtains. They also have a food delivery robot and provide free self service laundry facilities. There's a small gym here which I didn't use. The room is a little small for 2 pax but more than comfortable for 1. The standing shower and toilet is separated and both of good size. The bed is firm and pillows comfy. Bottled water, mini fridge, tea bags are provided. Basic shower amenities are also provided, along with a pack of disposable toothbrush and comb at check in. I like the open wardrobe concept and they provide many hangers here including the clip ones. It's a rather basic hotel in general but certainly value for money. There are also quite some eateries along the street just a few mins walk from the hotel. I wouldn't mind staying here again the next time I visit.

GGuest UserThis place is super convenient for family traveling with elderly and also toddler. It is well-equipped with washing and drying machine for laundry. The cooking hob & knob are provided too but there was no pots and pans provided in the unit for cooking. I didnt find out further if we are allowed to cook inside the unit but when i went to level B1 for coffees (free!) i saw there was anoher kitchen which is bigger that has pans and pots (but very limited, I only saw 1 pan). The plates provided in the unit are only 3 plates without any bowls, which is quite restricted when we dine in the unit by ordering food delivery. However, we managed it by using the food containers from our delivery. We did not approach the front desk to ask for more plates and bowls though. So i am not sure if they can provide. The front receptionist who work during night time during our stay is more warm and friendly than the rest. There was a morning shift staff whom I have not met, but heard from my family, that she gave a cute keychain to my kid, which i feel is a very lovely gesture. Having read that some taxis refused to drive into the hutong due to its small and narrow road has caused me concerns when i did the booking, but fortunately all the taxis we got managed to wait for us right outside our apartment. Meaning that all are willing to drive in. There are bicycle returning spots right outside the apartment which makes it so convenient for us to return the bicycles we rented using the online platform. Outside the hutong, there are shops like eateries which make it very convenient for us. We even took our brunch at ”men ji mi fan” which serves very good ”mi xian”(noodles) that i was looking forward to when i am visiting Beijing. My kid and elderly mum really enjoyed the stay in the apartment. They even enjoy chatting with the lady who cleans our apartment as she is really friendly and warm. There are 2 bathrooms in our 2-bed unit which again makes it super convenient for us during our stay. My kid loves the apartment as if its her second home. We like the coffee provided free at B1 as the fragrant is really as good as those at coffee shops. We visited B1 entertainment room for a few times and chill there for a short while. There is a pool table and a gym room right next to it. The stay is very peaceful and quiet throughout our 1 week stay. Reception and security guard are there 24 hours. There is even a postage room that keeps all our online shopping parcels which makes it very convenient to shop. I gave only 4/5 for facilities due to shortage of cooking utensils/bowls in our unit. But other than that, there is nothing else that is short of our expectations. Thanks to BASE apartment team for the lovely stay!

AAH 86I had a wonderful stay with my little one. The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived and so patient when I had an issue checking in. My daughter also took part in a cake decorating class during our stay and she thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was quite large for hotels in Beijing, and the gym met needs. Yael on the front desk, Andy for in room dining, Paolo and the team at Dacappo restaurant made our stay comfortable down to the last detail. The breakfast had enough choice, and the in-room dining portions were generous. We will be recommending to friends, but will also come back again 😃

BBernie123The room is decent size for the price and it is well distributed. The closet is just a hanger for like 4 or 5 garments so beware. Bathroom unfortunately was a bit smelly. Bed was comfortable. I did not like the included breakfast because it’s actually a bag they leave outside the door every morning with the same menu everyday and did not like all the items. I will try a different hotel in my next visit to Beijing.

LLiulizongI stayed at Beijing Daoxiang Lakeview Hotel with my parents, an old man and a child. The lobby was spacious and bright. The waiter was welcoming and greeted me warmly. Seeing me and my parents, I checked in immediately. The speed was very fast. When I stepped into the hotel room, I was instantly attracted by its elegant decoration. The spacious and bright windows and soft and warm lights, every detail showed quality and the neat bed was as soft as a cloud, making people forget the fatigue of the journey when they lie down. The restaurant environment is good, and the food is rich and varied. The only regret is that the buffet dinner is closed on Sunday. The children's playground is good and our baby had a lot of fun.

Tiananmen Square
MM25***08Tiananmen Square is worth going once. You have to make an appointment in advance. Generally, you can make an appointment seven days in advance for Tiananmen Square tickets. If you want to watch the flag raising, you have to make an appointment in advance. If you want a good location, there are many people queuing up the night before. The night view of Tiananmen Square is also beautiful, if you are riding, you can not make an appointment.
The Palace Museum
MM25***30Thank you Xiucai for saying that Li Dao, the explanation is very professional, the rhythm is very good, can take care of everyone's needs, the amount of knowledge is very sufficient, humorous, and gave me a different travel experience! The first time I stood under the city wall, I felt really magnificent. It was completely different from the antique building I saw in the past. It was also very big. I didn’t finish shopping for a day. There were also many places locked. The buildings and displays inside were also very beautiful. The field experience was really different.
Universal Beijing Resort
Wwingson_Happy hometown! Emotional value is full! Temporarily decided to come to the world to punch in, come and come! There is no less money here, although it is a weekend, queue for half an hour to enter the park, the first brush of the transformer just roller coaster, really soft legs, after resting, just not leaving at Hogwarts!
The Temple of Heaven
AAnonymous UserThe Temple of Heaven Park is so beautiful. One of the must-see attractions in Beijing, the sign of Beijing is the sign of the Temple of Heaven. The check-in point of the Year of Prayer and the corner of the eaves was not found, which is a pity.
Wangfujing
GGwendowlynWangfujing street has so much to offer as the center of commerse. From food, to shopping for traditional goods, they have everything. Its a must to visit when you are in beijing.
Qianmen Street
莹颖瑛Qianmen Street is located on the central axis of Beijing, and it has been there during the Mingjiajing period. It has a history of more than 400 years. When you come to Beijing, you must go to Qianmen Street to visit ~ Zhengyangmen and Zhengyangmen Jianlou under night are beautiful ~ Metro Qianmen Exit I (Southwest Exit) ➡️ Qianmen Street ➡️ Dashilan Commercial Street ➡️ Guanyinsi Street 🍨 Special snacks: braised boiled, sugar gourd, sugar man, marshmallow, Wu Yutai ice cream
National Museum of China
YYvette柚柚The national Expo is solemn and solemn, and you can feel it on the way to the national Expo. It is worth noting: 1. On the traffic, take a taxi and find that it is very unsuitable to take a taxi near the national Expo. The navigation originally showed that it was half an hour's drive, but there were a lot of no-stop areas, and it took half an hour. So I got off the bus and walked for ten minutes and almost couldn't catch up. It is still recommended to travel by subway. 2. Looking at the exhibition time, if you want to see the whole museum, you must make an appointment in the morning. At 4 pm, I only hurriedly looked at the ancient Chinese museum and looked very hurried. 3. On the first floor, there is a cafe to buy Guobo ice cream. The shape is very good, but the taste is more general.
Yonghe Gong
樱桃🍒宝宝👶🏻Teacher Chang's explanation is really good, especially in place, how to worship Buddha, each hall is introduced in detail. The historical and cultural heritage is very deep, friendly, children especially love to listen, do not sell consumption, very recommended. Personally, I feel that Mr. Chang's explanation can increase the price.
The Summer Palace
MM23***23Sister Ma's explanation is particularly good, and she has her own unique insights on the Summer Palace, which is very recommended. The predecessor of the Summer Palace is Qinghui Garden, which was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1750), and was destroyed in the Second Opium War in 1860. The Guangxu period (1888) was rebuilt and renamed the Summer Palace as the place where the Empress Cixi was raised. Main landscape: 1. Kunming Lake: It covers three-quarters of the total area of the Summer Palace. There is a long embankment in the lake, and there is a famous 17-hole bridge built on the embankment. 2. Wanshou Mountain: Located on the west side of Kunming Lake, there are buildings such as Foxiang Pavilion and Paiyun Palace on the mountain. 3. Promenade: The longest gallery in the world, known for its exquisite paintings and architectural art. 4. Foxiang Pavilion: It is a landmark building of the Summer Palace. It is located in the front of Wanshou Mountain. It is an octagonal four-story pagoda. 5. Leshou Hall: It was the place where the Queen Cixi lived, and the interior is gorgeous.
Tian'Anmen Gate Tower
Aaileen18zyhAt the first stop in Beijing, I got off the train and put my luggage straight to Tiananmen Square. I felt the majesty of the imperial city for the first time. Tiananmen East Subway Station, Exit A, I saw Tiananmen City Building. Special treatment around Tiananmen Square, check your ID card when you leave the station, ask for an appointment, and persuade you to leave if you don't make an appointment in advance. Tiananmen City Building, Tiananmen Square, Flag Raising, National Museum... There is an appointment, you must make an appointment in advance, there is no appointment on the same day. Many people run for nothing. After passing the security check at the subway exit, go straight to Tiananmen Square, cross the Jinshui Bridge, cross the Tiananmen Gate Cave, to the north of the city building (the north is also solemn, there are two Huabiao watches, and the south square of the end gate), first go to the northwest side of a row of houses to store luggage, can only bring ID cards and mobile phones, etc., All others are stored. After the city building security check, the building went smoothly. From the northwest stairs behind Tiananmen Square, the northeast stairs went downstairs. Tiananmen City Tower has two Hua table on the north and south sides, the top of the Hua table is like a lion god beast - Chao Tian (Wang Tian, Xiang Tian), the Hua table in front of the city building (south) is "Wang Junhui", facing the south, persuade the emperor not to go out for a long time to be barbarous and fun; After the city building (north) Hua table is "wangjun out", facing the north, urging the emperor to go out of the palace to observe the people; finally entered the heart of the motherland's capital, the spectacular Tiananmen Square Tower, this is also my first time to climb the city building. With a high temperature of 35 degrees +, the mood is as warm as the temperature. Every step must be taken to take photos. The biggest advantage of the hot weather is that the sky is blue, and how to shoot is a blockbuster. The palace of red walls and yellow tiles plus crystal sky, every frame is a tabletop photo. Standing on the upper floor of the city, the view is really good, Tiananmen Square and the surrounding buildings have a panoramic view. Indoors in the city building are the historical and important event exhibitions of Tiananmen Square. Originally called "Chengtianmen", it means "Chengtian Apocalypse Transportation, Ordered to Heaven". Later, it was renamed "Tiananmen". Looking back at every historical moment of Tiananmen Square can make people teary. If you want to get out of the city building to Metro Line 1, it will take a little time, 1560 meters, 2000 steps. From the city downstairs, take your luggage, go through the end door, and reach the noon gate (the official gate of the Forbidden City). It's almost five o'clock, the noon gate is closed, take a photo, and move on. You can choose to go west or through Zhongshan Park (She's Temple), or go east or through the Working People's Cultural Palace (Tai Temple). I chose to go west by detour, along the Tongzi River, to the south of Nanchang Street, back to Chang'an Street, into the subway Tiananmen West Station. The scenery along the way is beautiful, under the root of the imperial city, along the outer moat (Tongzi River), you also see the beautiful corner building (the southwest corner building of the four corners), passing by Xihuamen (the west gate of the Forbidden City), and it is worth taking more roads. Looking back, I have never been to the Shezhutan or Taimiao, and I have always felt that Zhongshan Park and the Working People's Cultural Palace are ordinary green parks for everyone to exercise. After reading a lot of strategies, people who can't enter the Forbidden City, go to Tai Temple to punch in and take pictures of the palace with red walls and yellow tiles, and the perfect background for clearing photos. Someone used this to walk through the noon gate, saving more than half of the queue time for entering the Forbidden City. Next time, you can incorporate these two parks into the play punching ranks. It is recommended to vomit blood, take bus🈶 5 in Nanchang Street, or share bicycles.
