Nice 3 stars hotel in the center of Trieste. Staff were not particularly friendly but they were extremely professional. Breakfast was great and the man in charge of the breakfast room was very friendly. Room and shower somehow small. For a short stay this is a great place.

This hotel is magnificent in so many ways, Before you even walk in the doors, you have to admire its beauty and history. There are 15 stairs before you enter, but someone is there to help you immediately, and the front desk is 5-star. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the waterfront and plenty of restaurants and cafes If you arrive by train, with luggage I recommend taking a taxi. Breakfast was very good, with lots of selections

What really set this hotel apart was its terrific staff, who was helpful and made the experience as smooth and easy as possible. I left my luggage early, before check in, and they moved it to my room for me. Very good, reasonably priced restaurant recommendations, helpful staff with everything. Highly recommend.

If you want to truly experience Trieste in the right location and with style then this is the place. A small perfectly built Palace run by staff who care about their guests. There is absolutely everything you need here. I arrived late at night and when I walked out onto the breakfast room the following room found myself saying wow at the view on the stunning Piazza. I choose this hotel because I had always wanted to stay there in Trieste, I did return for a second stay and I would stay there again. You are close to the sea, the historical centre, numerous bars and restaurants, shopping and tourist hotspots. The rooms are lovely, majestically clean. Breakfast are a relaxing experience you do not want to hurry because why would you with that view around you. The bar is the place to be throughout the day and also acts as an informal restaurant throughout the day. Formal is also available but that was not my choice. Rooms were large comfortable and very clean with the best amenities provided. Book your stay, you know you want to!

Let's start with the positives: the staff is very kind and helpful, the hall is welcoming and attention to detail, the breakfast is not bad, the buffet is ordered, well-kept and varied. Let's move on to the negatives: the room that was assigned to us for a cost of 84 euros, including breakfast, was designed for people with physical disabilities, so the bathroom and shower are not comfortable for anyone. Shower equal to the floor, without glass but with curtains and shower head 1 meter and 60 (????). The bathroom was flooded on the first shower. Irremediably stained carpet, as well as the wall. Pillow with hair and radiator with hair and hair. Heating? Nothing to do, just cold air. I avoid commenting further.

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel for the location close to the city centre (everything within comfortable walking distance) and were delighted to find it exceeded our expectations. The staff were charming and helpful, the rooms small and simply furnished but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent buffet breakfast with very good coffee and tempting pastries. We will definitely return, this time by car as there is private parking.

GGuest UserWe had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was substantial with plenty of choices available. During the day the breakfast room also serves as the hotel guest lounge. There are complimentary pastries, tea and a coffee machine available here for hotel guests throughout the day. It is a relaxing place to sit and refresh. The hotel staff are friendly, polite and helpful. In front of the hotel is a small shop where you can buy a 24 hour bus ticket for three euros. Many of the local sites are accessible using public transport. There are plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel. It is a five minute walk to the the old town.

There are no shoes in the bathrooms and tables,in the shower no one to leave the spoon little gel and champagne and too much towels clean shoes.monotonous breakfast in Italian style...packed dish and something of fiber, bad coffee and water juice ...By the way, beds are comfortable but not coats ...to spend a few days isn't bad.

The rooms are not up-to-date, but dignified and with the minimum comforts satisfied. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the mattress which I personally found a bit too low and soft (subjective consideration)! Reception staff very courteous and helpful!

GGuest UserWe found this cosy hotel well priced and oh so quiet and certainly a 5 star rating for the price. All the staff spoke excellent English and were unfailingly courteous. There’s a lift that helps if you have heavy luggage to manage. I think we paid around £80 a night for two and their help yourself breakfast came in at less than a fiver each. Brekky was ace - great coffee, juices, hams and cheeses, 3/4 varieties of jams, croissants, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts and I’m sure I’ve left stuff out. The bedroom was well furnished, the shower could get to super hot and the entire place was spic & span clean. It’s pretty central and a 5 or so minute walk to the James Joyce statue in one direction and about the same the other way to the main Trieste train station. But now I must note my gratitude to the folks who work here. This was 5 star priceless. I arrived here weak and ill, discharged from a local Trieste hospital after 40 hours, having been food poisoned on an MSC cruise ship and dispatched from their ship hospital (where I was very well treated) to the hospital. My wife on the other hand was left by MSC to struggle on the dockside as the Armonia sailed away, just as the sun set, with most of our luggage still aboard. That’s a whole other story and we did re - board ship a week later in Venice. The only reason the ship docked in Trieste was high winds in Venice. On early morning arrival here from hospital to check-in we were offered cappuccinos and pastries while our room was prepared and it turned out these were complimentary. They knew we were coming and that I’d been hospitalised. Thereafter they helped us beyond our ability in words to thank them for all their kindnesses. I mean if Italy has an honours system for those who help others these gentle people deserve to be top of the list. One day I needed a doctor to get a fit to travel certificate and the young man at reception put in 14 phone calls for me including waiting on call backs. Over an hour later he achieved what I needed - just pause to think about this - over an hour and he dealt with other calls and guests too. What he did we simply could not have achieved by ourselves. My wife and I were just stunned at this humanity which came with a smile. Then he announced he needed a coffee and promptly proceeded to make all three of us cappuccinos offering fruit and pastries again all on the house. They translated for us, including medical papers, organised many taxi rides including one to Venice and could not have done more. So we can’t recommend here strongly enough. We truly were in great need and they delivered 100% and y’know we’ll never forget the humanity and all we could do was say thank you and we said it a lot.

Trieste is located on the northeastern shore of the Adriatic Sea, on the northwest side of the Istra Peninsula, and on the top of Trieste Bay, the largest free port city in Italy. After World War II, it was administered by Yugoslavia and returned to Italy after 1954. Today I will take you to the Italian Unification Square. This is the main square of Trieste, the largest seaside square in Europe. Surrounded by beige historical buildings on three sides, the other side is facing the bay, it looks very atmospheric, located at the foot of San Giusto Mountain, facing the Adriatic Sea, once the main port of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, not only the prosperous seaport city but also the center of music and literature. But then it gradually fell into depression with the integration of Italy. Italy has two unity squares, this is the earliest and largest, so you generally ask the Italians where is your unity square? They will tell you in Trieste. The other one I have been to in Florence, it is indeed half the size. The square was built in the 19th century around the city hall, district administration building and other government offices, and the opposite sea view is more beautiful, and the bronze statue of the flag-raising man on the shore is called the Liberation Monument. Historical Museum of the Miramare Castle

Today, the Miramaré Castle I take you to is the city's most famous attraction, and the value of this castle is of great importance to the whole of Italy! She was built on the seaside of the Adriatic Sea, near Trieste Bay, between 1856 and 1860 for the Grand Duke of Austro-Hungarian Maximiliano I and his wife. The castle of Miramare was designed by Carl Junker and looks like it stands directly above the waves. Surrounded by a 22-hectare garden, this garden is known for its diverse tropical trees and flowers, quiet and elegant, comfortable and elegant, and this time I went to the middle of March, affected by the warm ocean currents, the flowers have been competing to open, people feel refreshed. The white Miramare Castle is surrounded by mountains and seas, with beautiful scenery.
