I recently stayed at Hotel R9 and had a pleasant experience, giving it an overall rating of 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for short stays like overnight visits. This is particularly useful for solo and family travelers on a long trip but with a short stay at the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers the option to soak in a hot water bath, which is especially rejuvenating when feeling tired. In terms of facilities, Hotel R9 falls slightly short with a rating of 3 out of 5. However, considering its focus on providing a comfortable and unique stay, the overall experience compensates for the limited facilities. We enjoyed our stay at Garden Terrace Saga, with its modern rooms and superb service. We arrived after a long day of travels around Saga prefecture. Please note that there is an entrance via Shinei Dori Street, Dive through the red building tunnel, across a short bridge and make a left turn, the hotel is on your right. After a quick check-in process, we were escorted to our room on the 6th floor. Our agent had booked us the honeymoon suite and it was absolutely lovely. After a brief introduction, she left us to our own devices. Upon entry, two large double beds occupied the double ceiling area. This room was at the apex of the Isosceles-triangle-shaped hotel. Beds had clean and smooth sheets and was super comfortable. Bedside charging points are in built into the side table area. A large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall in front of the bed. Mostly local TV channels though! Walking beyond the beds is the make-up table with comfy chair and large mirror. The closest is behind this and you can find slippers, bath robes and the room safe here. There is an exit door behind the floor to ceiling mirrors here too, with staircase leading down. I believe the housekeeping uses this to get into the room. Beware that the door was not locked when we found it. Some added security here for guests would be ideal. Moving back to the main door, and to the right is a small toilet area, separate from the shower/bathroom area. The standard Japanese toilet and small sink is housed here. if you walk to the left as you approach the main door, there is a large sitting area with comfy sofa, and another TV. There is also a 6 seater dining table. The hotel was really good to us and gave us a box of cakes that was left in the man-height fridge. The hotel also notified the Teppanyaki restaurant that I had a bottle bubbly from a previous stay in the fridge. Thus restaurant flipped the beverage menu to the champagne page we were given the menus. We liked this sharing of information! There is tea and coffee making facilities here too. Wifi is standard throughout the hotel and it was pretty fast and strong.. The bathroom is right behind the living room TV. Double sinks and loads to amenities. There was also a bottle of bathing sake for guest use. A rain shower and bath tub is connected to the bathroom. One can also exit the bathroom and into the enclosed balcony area [or go out via the living room]. where there is a large seating area is ready to welcome guests, as well as a jacuzzi. I went down to the gym on the two mornings we overnighted here. The gym is small and narrow with very select machines. One multi function weight machine, two light dumbbells station and one treadmill and bicycle/elliptical [?] machine. There is a small swimming pool and a Sauna cabin next to it. Towels and water are readily available. Our room came with breakfast and they arranged for us to take it in the Eecutive lounge. The breakfast can either be Japanese or Western. We went with we

The common part such as the front desk, lobby, corridor is very beautiful, but the room and hot springs were not old. There is also a gap and I am disappointed. Also, the operation is bad for meals, and it is provided to all guests at the same time as a banquet. Takeo had a lot of activities to enjoy at night, so I wanted to eat as soon as possible, but I couldn't respond to my personal needs. It seemed to have a wedding plan, but it was a facility that I would never want to use on an important day of my life. It faces the lake and the location is very good and the scenery in the morning was very beautiful.

Location away from the center. In front of Saga University Medical School. It is a location that can only be accessed by car. The price is reasonable. Parking is about 4 next to it. There is a second parking lot about 5 minutes walk. The room is large and not bad, but there is no elevator and only stairs. Well, it's up to the third floor, so it's not much, but it might be a little hard to have a big luggage. There are restaurants on the roadside, but it may be good to go to drink. I choose an early morning check-out plan, and breakfast is served with rice balls. Because there was this plan, it was like booking this inn. I liked the place where 2 rice balls and oshiko are not ”free breakfast” that ignores people from early morning recently.

Kumamoto to Takeo Onsen by train took only 1h18 mins. Takeo Onsen in Western Saga Prefecture is a small onsen town. Central Hotel Takeo Onsen's location beside the Takeo JR station is very convenient and a walk to Romon Gate is only about 15 mins. Our twin Room in the Annex Building was very spacious and the huge super single bed was very comfortable. Each person paid Y15,250 for 2 nights stay with breakfast. The onsen on the 8F is small and we went at 7 am to avoid the crowd. There are coin operated washers and dryers also on 8F. The breakfast buffet was of high quality and delicious. It is a pity that the blooming season for Sakuras has not begun so we cancelled our visit to Mifuneyama Rakuen. We walked to Takeo Shrine and several Sakura trees were in full bloom so we took lots of pictures there. We also went to Huis Ten Bosch, a huge theme park in Sasebo, Nagasaki Pref (40 mins train ride).

There are almost no hotels that you can drop in around here. There are minimum necessary facilities, and there is also a convenience store nearby. There is also a hot spring that you can use for free if you stay overnight.
