We were looking for a place to stay two nights to chill out, in between flights, and no surprises, and when we spotted this on Google, it didn't take us long to want to stay here. Indeed, the choice was perfect. The welcome from Michel, the owner, was warm and personal. And, I was sure he knew what guests wanted in their stays. We even took on his suggestion to use the private boat service to ”arrive in style”, but as luck would have it, our flight was delayed and we wanted to arrive early, which, thanks to Michel, an early check-in was offered. The 12 rooms were set on beautiful grounds overlooking the Mekong. (The noise from the river traffic, mostly in the morning, was not unpleasant, and was even soothing. Our garden room, one of four, was close to the boundary wall, and if we left our bathroom door open, we could hear chatter (and morning cockerill calls) from neighbours, but in the two nights we stayed, we were not disturbed by party noise at all. We ate dinners inhouse, the food - both French and Vietnamese cuisine - was delightful. The breakfast, ala carte, was filling, nutritious and delicious. I liked the hu tiao and pho, as well as the spread of fruits and bread with fruit jam. We were 20 minutes from town, so we managed well using Grab (about VND130,000), and we even ventured out to Ben Tre to try the macapuno coconut - Ben Tre is one of only three places in the world to grow this wax coconut commercially. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to stay again. If there's one suggestion i could offer, it is this: some paths aren't even, especially the stepping pavers leading to our room (#10) aren't flush with the ground. If one is used to standards of safety in one's home country where the edges of steps are highlighted in bright paint, then one should be alert to the risk of stumbling, especially at night. Thanks to Michel and the team for providing this gem of a place and impeccable service!

The Rang Dong Hotel My Tho is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Rang Dong Hotel My Tho is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of My Tho. Seeing My Tho's sights from this hotel is easy with Điểm Du Lịch Sông Tiền, Cultural House Tien Giang Province and Phap Bao Tu Pagoda all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Absolutely new hotel, not even all floors are working yet. Everything is new, just put into operation. Stunning views of the Mekong, panoramic glazing and a great balcony.
Opposite the pier - excursions from 500,000 -700,000vnd for two to the island (relict coconuts, canals, fruit farm).
The restaurant cooks well, really tasty, beef dishes are excellent. Everything is fresh.
The room has an interesting design, but not functional. Beautiful, but not thought out. The air conditioner is located in such a way that it blows directly into the bed and you can't redirect the flow, the heat / cold adjustment does not work in my opinion, the numbers on the display change, but it does not get warmer. - whether you set it to 22 degrees or 26 - there is no difference. There is no work space - nowhere to put a laptop, tablet, charging station. - we charged on the floor. The ventilation in the bathroom is very noisy (it turns off with the light, please replace the fan with a quieter one). And it would be great if there were umbrellas in the room, they would come in handy in rainy weather. The girls at the reception on the 7th floor are inexperienced and do not have enough information, they do not know anything about the city, please put adult employees with experience there. The guys at the reception on the 1st floor work great, they do a good job. From the suggestions - more often wash the windows from the outside, they are dusty and the view is lost and it would be nice to wash the floors during cleaning the room, because if you walk barefoot your feet are immediately dirty.
Overall, for the money it is very good, if they take into account and correct the little things - it will be great! If there is an opportunity, I will definitely come back again.
This hotel is just fine. The carpet needs to be replaced but overall it reasonably clean. This is our family’s 3rd time staying here, my kids love the pool (but is is closed for a few hours in the afternoon and closes at 6 pm.) The breakfast buffet (6:30 am- 9:30 am) is a good mix of Western and Vietnamese foods. The restaurant in the hotel is closed but there is a little breakfast and lunch place just outside of the hotel and a cafe open from earlier morning until evening and there is an extensive room service menu. The gym is closed. Staff have very little English but do all they can to help. AC works well. No English TV channels.
I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in My Tho city in June 2024, where the front desk staff were notably friendly and the breakfast was fairly comprehensive. My room, number 407, lacked windows and had a fairly hard bed, although the bathroom size was acceptable and there was a desk suitable for work. Despite these amenities, I find the hotel to be overpriced, charging 660k for the lowest rack rate. While the hotel features a rooftop bar, it is modestly equipped and the service there was disappointing. The staff at the rooftop bar lacked a basic understanding of customer service and hospitality, which greatly diminished my experience. Their insistence on closing promptly at 10 PM and rushing me to finish my drink was particularly frustrating. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, their only solution was to offer a 10% discount, which felt more dismissive than accommodating. This experience, along with other service issues, has left a sour taste in my mouth, not just for the hotel but for My Tho city as a whole. Unfortunately, I don’t foresee myself returning to either in the future.
The rooms are large, the facilities are well-equipped, and there is a bathtub, although I don't need it. My room is closest to the river, so it's noisy starting at six in the morning. Overall quite satisfactory
I recently stayed at Song Tien Hotel during my visit to My Tho, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Here are the highlights: Location: Situated in the heart of My Tho City, the hotel overlooks the picturesque Bao Dinh River. It’s conveniently close to attractions and dining options. Facilities: The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout, making it easy to stay connected. Additionally, they have a restaurant, steam room, and spa facilities. The 24-hour front desk and airport transfer services add to the convenience. Rooms: I stayed in a Triple Balcony Room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The crisp white linen added a touch of elegance. Value for Money: Song Tien Hotel provides excellent value for your budget. Compared to other properties in My Tho, it’s a steal! Guest Reviews: I’m not the only one who enjoyed my stay—other guests have also praised the hotel. They recommend it wholeheartedly! Whether you’re a traveler or a business client, Song Tien Hotel is an excellent choice. I highly recommend it! 🌟
