The bedding is exactly as If someone got it very used and out of a thrift store ALL of the towels were stained brown or grey. They too were as if not just 2nd hand- but third hand. When we arrived the key to the room was in the door. We did not feel safe and could not sleep on very old and smelly furniture beds bedding. We left and had to reserve a room in a Hilton hotel.

We go to Corning Museum of Glass as least once per year and this time we decided to stay overnight. The Gaffer Inn is above a restaurant that was recommended by friends. So we booked a room. It looks like an old brick facade on the outside, but the inside is quite the opposite. Our room was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. Great burger dinner downstairs and good watermelon hard cider.

This is a great apar**ent type room in cute downtown Corning. It is spacious and clean and in a great location. The only downside is the couch bed. We had two teens with us and thought we could sleep 4 -- we were wrong. No human body of any size should have to sleep on that hide-a-bed. The suite is large and could easily accommodate an extra double bed or set of bunk beds if arranged properly and it would be a very comfortable stay for all involved. Otherwise the stay was great! Clean, easy check in and out, etc. highly recommend.

The inn closes by 10 PM and the desk help gave us pictures and text messages so we could arrive safely around midnight - all worked out perfectly.

My wife and I travel alot. We’ve been to Europe twice and drove across America. This was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. The restaurant below was just as nice with a staff that made you feel like family.

The Inn was very convenient to shops and restaurants and Corning Glass Museum was an easy drive. A shuttle to the Museum was a couple blocks away. The museum was also in walking district. The Main Street was quiet and charming.
