I spent a wonderful two weeks here in April / May, and absolutely loved it - my calmest, easiest experience in China so far. The hotel is clean and beautiful, the quality of everything in the rooms is very high, but it still has a ‘homestay’ feel - the balance is just right. The roof terrace has a gorgeous view of the mountains and is very relaxing, the hosts are kind and helpful (no English is spoken, but WeChat works well). The street is quiet, but it’s only a few minutes’ walk to great street food, cafes, bars and restaurants. I absolutely recommend this hotel and will return if I’m ever in Dali again.

As advertised the look n surroundings. Lady boss is friendly n helpful. Location just a bit outskirts of Dali Ancient City away from the nightclubs not nosy at night. Bed / pillow clean with electric blanket. Bathroom stones wall unique hot water plentiful air suction good, toilet bowl excellent flush with heated seat all the time; sink beautiful stone with hot water as well. Overall is a nice place to stay if u r not looking for modern hotel 😘

Service was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

Really cute little hotel! Well located, near to the Main Street but not right there. The place had a typical traditional Dali style and a really nice rooftop terrace where we could admire the view of the mountains over the ancient town’s roofs. Our room was small but cleaned daily and it had all the amenities. It’s a good choice for a stay in Dali!
