Overall, this property was good. They are currently going through renovations. Room was decent. I do think they could have had toiletries in the room such as lotion, makeup wipes, etc. most hotels do have those things in the bathroom with a sign letting guest know that basic toiletries are available to them. Other than that, no major issues.

We stayed three nights to attend a Cowboys game. The property was clean easy to get to, right off I30. It was quiet. Plenty of food choices nearby and a Walmart across the main road. A good mid way point between Arlington, Dallas and Fort Worth. Plenty of hot water, a little kitchenette,with coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, sink. Bed was comfortable.

Called Holiday Inn before booking to confirm that there would be breakfast, that the pool would be open, and that the hot tub would be hot. I asked 3 times to be connected directly to someone at the property. Gentleman assured me that everything would be working and that the hot tub would be hot. He said he would get a pop up alert if the hot tub was out of service. We are here to celebrate 3 year old birthday. He wanted to swim. Deborah at the front desk informed us that the hotel is undergoing rennovations and that this is an on going problem. She can confirm that we were unable to enjoy the hot tub. It is way to cold.

The room was nice and big. Loved the couch and chair to sit in and not have to sit on the bed while watching Tv. Only issue we had was the key cards on the room doors did not work, went back to desk and asked to redo them and then still had an issue with them working.

My biggest issue is that the fire alarm kept going off. The first night I was there it went off at 2am, then around 3am, and again before 4am. I called the front desk and they said “we think it’s the weather”. I’m in the fire alarm industry and asked them if they’d talked to the monitoring station and had a oncall tech coming out”? The response I got was “I don’t know what that means”. This was before it went off the third time. I got no sleep because of this and then last night the fire alarm went off again before 2am. So, I was there for two and got no rest as far as I could tell there was little to no concern with the people staying in your hotel.
