Beautiful hotel in a great location. Our room was well appointed and clean and we slept well. Nothing on the island is far away. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was brilliant. We would go back in a heart beat.

Located not far from the beach and close to one of the woods, we preferred this location. Van der Valk is a wel known brand with a lot of value for money. Room was spacious, with a nice bathroom. All kinds of details had been thought of.

The team made our stay memorable. From the booking, checking in and having dinner, through to breakfast the next day, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Food was good, with plenty of options to have local produce. They had a big party in for dinner, but this didn’t impact on the service that was given to each and every diner. The combinations of ingredients were well presented and creatively prepared, to give good flavour and visual enjoyment. The team was helpful in making suggestions of local attractions and places to visit, as well as helping with things like ferry times etc. a thank you for making this such a lovely weekend trip.

We spent a very nice weekend, the apartment was very spacious and well equipped, the cleanliness was good. The next town (de Koog) can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes, the same applies to the beach. Bikes can be rented at the hotel or locally (cheaper).

Ik ben samen met de hond een weekend weg geweest. Het was de eerste keer dat ik alleen op reis ging. Dit was super spannend ivm mijn beperking. Maar het hotel heeft mij heel goed geholpen. Ze stonden al klaar toen ik aankwam. Ik kon voor de deur parkeren. En daar waar ik hulp nodig had kon ik het vragen. Zelfs mijn vriendin die verderop op het eiland verbleef kreeg een extra kamer sleutel om mij te kunnen helpen in de ochtend en de avond.

Een uitstekend, gezellig hotel. Schoon, goede keuken, vriendelijk personeel. Mooie kamers, centraal op het eiland en toch midden in de natuur. Ruime parkeerplaatsen. Het is heel bijzonder dat er spontaan aandacht wordt gegeven aan een gast die jarig is tijdens het verblijf.

Fijn dat we er fietsen konden huren. Personeel was top. Heerlijk eten. Een ontbijt wat heeeeeeel goed was. Fantastisch Hotel op 2 km. van De Koog. Vlakbij bushalte (800 meter) en 5 km. van Den Burg. Volgend jaar gaan we zeker weer. Een hotel voor iedereen.

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk alleen was de kamer zonder balkon en tuin ,,we keken vanuit raam tegen een struik aan ,,dus uitzicht was waardeloos
