Very good and cosy hotel! Nice and clean room, equipped with everything you could need. Two things that could be improved: please, change the pillows, they are terrible; and also don't charge for the coffee in the room - it is indeed bad practice. Everything else ir perfect and I would recommend this hotel for everyone, who does not need to stay in the center of Dresden.

Service, accommodation and friendly staff, it was all right! The location of the hotel to the city centre and to bike tours at the Elbe was very good. We felt very well and would try again to book free life in the villa at the next visit to Dresden.

Go to Prague by train and park your car at the hotel. Go to Prague. The surrounding area is a residential area of the villa. Any business that does not eat, no car is not recommended. Because the taxi is not good, the bus is not familiar, the room is very clean, the service is good, the overall praise, the hotel ground parking space is free, the underground charges, remember the European
Schloss Hotel Dresden Pillnitz

We had a Romantic Package from their homepage which included Dinner-Excellent! Everything was fine, quiet, breakfast good, nice staff, no problems, and yet, disappointing- no feeling of being in a great castle. The furniture was pine in our room which I associate with log cabins, not luxury & antiques. And being winter, the view out our window was roofs of Christmas Market stalls (separate admission), and not very colorful gardens. We also did not know that the castle would not be open until the end of March. However the early morning sun over the Elbe River was beautiful.

The environment is very good, very quiet, with enough parking space, suitable for business, business trips, and self-driving tours. The service is very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and the facilities are also very good. I just didn't enjoy the breakfast, so I don't know how.
Dorint Hotel Dresden

Altstadt
We spent seven nights in Dorint Dresden for a private stay in Dresden. A major advantage of this hotel is its traffic-friendly location: the old town with its attractions is in a footing distance, the tram driving in Dresden at close distances holds almost outside the door. The hotel itself is not new, but the public areas make a well-treated impression and our standard room to the indoor courtyard on the second floor was clean, spacious and very quiet. The room design is originated from another time, which has not disturbed us, but modernisation should necessarily be accompanied by additional sticks. The service in the house was professional, the staff were friendly and accessible to the guests' concerns at any time. The breakfast offer was in line with the ”international standard” for a hotel of this category, the fresh egg food and the associated supplements were much better than in many other hotels. Critically, the great offer of sauce and bakery products in Dresden and the surroundings was only extremely limited - backbrushes, cutting etc. were acceptable standard products as they exist everywhere, But with which you don't even get off. Damn. The high prices in the deep garage (17 Euros per day) criticized in other reviews can easily be handled with a 10 Euro cheaper parking behind the hotel. However, this price policy is incomprehensible. On the house policy of non-cleaning of rooms for sustainability reasons, note: The daily cleaning of rooms can be logged in at check-in - you are explicitly asked by the receptionist - that then works without any mistake. It is only strange that Dorint does not give incentives to refrain from cleaning - targeting a bad consciousness is rather contraproductive. Finally, the daily opening of the bar in a well-booked hotel should be obvious. The bar staff makes a great job. Overall, Dorint Dresden is very recommendable for a short stay, even if there and there is still ”air up”. We would come back.
