This place is absolutely incredible! The scenery is a reason enough to make a visit, however the lodge and its facilities, staff and food also make this place well worth a trip! The lodge is a great place to relax and unwind, while being in the most beautiful scenery. The surrounding walks/hikes are also incredible with breathtaking views and wildlife along the way! The town Kufstein itself is also worth a visit on its own, both places are so authentic and unique! The walk up to the lodge takes about an hour with fantastic views, take your time to enjoy them! The value for money is beyond fantastic and I could not recommend this place enough if you are travelling to Europe and enjoy the outdoors!

I made a booking for a one night stop-over for my family (two small kids). The booking was made a few days before the trip and I cancelled it 3-4 hours later when I realized that we had to walk for an hour up a mountain to get to the hotel. The description at *********** says “not more than a 30 min walk” which was acceptable to us. However the reviews said about one hour walk and when asked the hotel confirmed 50 min is expected. This difference is significant (double the time) and the information provided is misleading. Based on that I requested a cancellation without a fee, this was ignored by the hotel who drew the fee from my account without answering mails. Poor service and not trustworthy. Note: I haven’t stayed at the hotel so it might be nice place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Berg'k'hof Kaisertal. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful and the food is tasty. We also eat the best Kaiserschmarrn and pizza at Veitenhof. We were able to upgrade to the Alm Hütte, which is an unique experience. We can’t wait to come back.

Der Bergkhof ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum Verweilen und Seele baumeln lassen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen ist super lecker! Besonders der Kaiserschmarren sucht seines Gleichen! Die Zimmer sind modern und rustikal eingerichtet, an manchen Stellen könnte allerdings wieder mit dem renovieren begonnen werden. Die Betten sind bequem und es lässt sich wundervoll mit frischer Bergluft schlafen. Bitte nicht nach lassen, macht so weiter, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Besonders die Panoramazimmer sind schön eingerichtet! Auch die moderne Sauna verschönert den Aufenthalt! Das Frühstück war ausreichend und ausgezeichnet! Insgesamt haben wir ein tolles Wochenende hier verbracht!

Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung, total entspannter Atmosphäre und gutem Essen & Trinken! Service war auch sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Fantastischer Blick aus der Sauna auf den Kaiser. Waren mit Kindern (9&12 J.) da und kommen gern wieder!

Klare Empfehlung für Menschen mit und ohne Zöliakie! Ich war im Februar 2024 für eine Nacht mit meiner Tochter dort. Der Aufstieg ist zwar nicht in 25 min zu schaffen, das gebe ich zu ;-) aber es lohnt sich trotzdem sehr! Wir haben im dazugehörigen Veitenhof übernachtet und sind davon aus 20 min zum Bergkhof gelaufen zum Abendessen und Frühstück. Ich (Zöliakie) bekam glutenfreie Nudeln und glutenfreien Kaiserschmarrn ohne Aufpreis und am Morgen Brot, welches extra im Ofen für mich geröstet wurde. Man kennt sich aus mit Kontamination und gibt einem rundum ein gutes Gefühl. Außerdem waren die Portionen so groß, dass wir den Kaiserschmarrn noch zum Mitnehmen eingepackt bekommen haben. Ich kann so manch schlechte Bewertung hier nicht nachvollziehen und wenn ich aber merke, wie unfreundlich manche Gäste mit dem Personal umgehen, dann wundert es mich nicht, wenn auch mal unfreundlich entgegnet wird. Wie man in den Wald hinein usw...... Zu uns war man sehr freundlich und ich werde definitiv wieder hinfahren. Auch Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Den extra Weg vom Veitenhof zum Essen nehmen wir auch gerne wieder auf uns, das ist spannend im Dunkeln und man ist ja zum Bewegen in den Bergen :-) Ich sage Danke an Florian und sein Team und bis bald!
