Recently refurbished three star property with a four star level of service. While the rooms are small, they are fully equipped and the bathrooms are sparkingly clean. Great air conditioning and good linen and towels. Good shower but sadly with captive liquid soap. Breakfast is the only meal offered but is extremely good even though there are only two hot dishes for us Northern Europeans. Fresh orange juice (whch is wonderful) is available for a small supplement. Given the fact that there's terrific restuarnt across the road (Gimbres by Oleg), the absnce of full meals provision is not noticed. There's s nice lobby bar.

The AP Eva Senses hotel was easily accessible from the airport on the local bus (16). Conveniently placed near the marina/harbour, its centrally located to local cafes, a mcdonalds and a convenience store. The hotel itself has a large entrance hall with self-check-in available to guests. You’ll also find a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. I was assigned to a twin room which was a decent size offering a private shower room and balcony. Unfortunately I discovered multiple cleaning issues which I raised with reception – this included a cigarette filled ashtray, used glasses, stained bedsheets, dusty lampshades and towel rail, however they assisted me promptly and re-allocated me to another room which was a welcomed improvement. Although a 3-star hotel, I did expect the cleaning levels to be slightly better than my experience, but the staff were very helpful with addressing my concerns. Dinner at the Eva restaurant was warm and pleasant, the staff were very attentive, and the food was prepared and served within good time. The continental breakfast was pleasant with pastries, deli meats, fresh fruit, tea and juices. The view from the rooftop was amazing! As a solo traveller, I felt safe and accommodated. Cleanliness was a let-down but my interaction with the staff was positive.

Very clean and new hotel. The carpets in the hallways were brilliant - well thought out to make wheeled suitcases easy to pull; also stylish. Bed was super comfortable, AC very effective, room was kept immaculately clean by friendly cleaning staff. Friendly staff served breakfast and in the roof top bar which was amazing, with 360degree views. Dipping pool and sun loungers were well-used; hard to get a lounger in time! Downside: some very odd management decisions. Despite description on Trip there was no cafe, no lunch or dinner and not even bar snacks! I rang on the 2nd day to ask for a bottle of water … response “Madam, this is a 3* hotel. You only get a bottle of water on your first day”!! Bizarre. I was able to buy a $0.99 bottle from the bar for €2.50! Breakfast: the ubiquitous coffee machine producing the most disgusting coffee - I tried all of them! In the end I risked tea and even the hot water had scum on it. I know I was not alone … bacon - HP sauce standing proud like a statue - no sausages, cooked tomato, fried egg etc! Pancakes and waffles - no syrup! Nice fresh bread rolls and croissants. Sliced cheese and packaged ham. Selection of cereals, orange juice and good selection of fruit. After 5 breakfasts I got fed up. WARNING - I was asked to give them my debit card to pay - she wrote down all the details! After I thought - why? I asked why - she said do they could charge me after I left if anything was missing or broken. I was assured this was legal in Portugal! I told them that was what “checkout” was for! I froze my card but I was really angry and when I have time to get a replacement I will need to cancel it! Balcony nice but only looked onto other rooms! Looking down - WHY NO GARDEN???!!! Just rooftops. I recommend a 4 hour boat trip …. Maybe 30m pleasant walk. Also hire bikes and go to the Nature Reserve - don’t miss Roman Salt Pits and beach crabs ….😊

I went alone but never bored. I had a late check in and everything was spot on. I communicated with the hotel about my flight change and quick response they booked me a taxi which was there waiting at weeee hours of the morning. The cleanliness was %100 rooms clean I cannot fault. I enjoyed the bus ride, the Uber was ok. The area was quiet if anyone looking for closeness but the taxi price was good. There was so much to do. My last day went to the spa over by the aqua park OMG it was rejuvenating only thing was you have to pay with a discount if you are staying at the hotel., for 2 hours 25 euros I think it can be a little cheaper for hotel guest. But I am not one to complain it is a kids friendly hotel so expect to hear kids running around planning to bring my grandkids next time, I know they will enjoy it. Breakfast was ok, ate outside for dinner there is so much place to choose from. Just a Uber ride away. A big shout out to Bruno very good cocktail and he gave me tips of places to eat out side. My wife and I stayed at this Hotel at the start of June 2023 for 5 nights. I cannot be more complimentary about the service we received from reception staff, breakfast staff and the two 'managers'. My wife has limited mobility and would use a wheel chair. Everything possible was done to make her stay as full as possible and our lovely room, at the front of the hotel was full of tech and extremely comfortable. Not a beech hotel but a glorious city break base, and Faro has more to offer than you might think. Many thanks to Ricardo and his team. Apologies if spelling is not perfect.

This hotel is inland about 20 minutes from Faro. An outstanding hotel with staff that really look after you. The bedroom was spacious, south facing and overlooking the pool. Breakfast is mostly continental with some options on how you would like your eggs cooked. It is very quiet, exactly how we wanted it to be after not being abroad on holiday for two years. Usually wonderful evening meals in the restaurant are available but the chef was isolating during our time, except, that is, for Valentines Day when extra staff were drafted in the give us an excellent meal. This place never fails to impress.
