Gero No Okuzashiki Sengakukan

Gero|1.82km from Mitsudaki Falls of Hida-Osaka Falls
The location of the hotel is very partial, not in Gero, it is at Hida osaka station. It takes about half an hour by JR from Takayama to arrive. It is a very, very small platform. After getting off the train, there are no people in a radius of 10 kilometers. All shops are closed. If you don’t make it in advance Raiders will probably cry out at the station because of helplessness. We took the address and took the bus. This is an original hot spring hotel with a century of history, full of human touch and warmth. Most of them are Japanese locals who come to soak in the hot springs by themselves. The hotel owner and staff do not speak English at all. They rely on the lame translation machine➕sign language to communicate. When entering the store, they will first make an appointment for the bath time, which is only 40 minutes. It seems that there is no need to make an appointment outside. For breakfast, all Japanese-style home cooking is exquisite and there are many types. After taking you to the room, Obasan was very polite. He felt sorry for us because the room was still cold. There were two hot water bottles in the bed. Quanyuekan is named for the high concentration of carbonated springs. The two pools have a lower temperature inside and a higher temperature outside. There is hot spring water at the entrance of the male bath that you can drink directly. It is soda water. The mask paper is provided, you can go directly in to get the hot spring water to apply, or you can feel the bubbling under the bottom, and the skin will be slippery after soaking. Inadequate: the location is really biased! Although the dinner and breakfast provided are very rich, it is inevitable that you will be lonely in this wilderness! You need to bring your own dry food! There are no other activities except bathing, the hotel is very, very quiet! Compare

Ogawaya
4.1/557 Reviews
It was a stay using the prefectural people. Because I had declared on the phone in advance, the check-in procedure and the application of the prefectural people were very smooth. The guide in the building was a foreign national staff, and there was a wall of words, but it was easy to understand all the necessary matters. In addition, the information you received at check-in was also described in the information you were able to go to each large bath and were able to use all three large baths without hesitation. I was very worried about which dinner to make, but Ogawaya was the first time to use it, so I made it a standard meeting seat, but it was correct. You can eat at the private room banquet hall, and the amount and taste are satisfactory. The dinner attendant was also a foreign national, but it was very polite and very good as the guide. The breakfast buffet was also used after 7:00, so it was not particularly crowded, and the seat was also very relaxing. It was a type with an open-air bath on the balcony, so the stay in the room is also very relaxing and recommended. It was a stay without any inconvenience at all. I like the accompanying people very much and I would like to visit again when I go to Gero.
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Gero Shinkan
3.9/514 Reviews
How many years will the Oedo Onsen story be? I used it often for traveling in Hokuriku. Gero shinkan is the first time ... On the mountain and on the hot spring town, the transfer bus (high ace) that can go to the station, but it is not possible to return to the hotel early at 17:20, so give up. I came to the hotel early and recommended sightseeing in the hot spring town until check-in. The hotel store is small I thought there were few souvenirs. So I got something that was not enough in the village of Gosho. The room and bath (hot spring) are satisfactory. I think the open-air bath was not a hot spring. The room was satisfactory in the Japanese style room, but it was a pity that Wi-Fi could not be used I thought it was now. And the employees were not cheerful and became a dark hotel image. In the meal, the employees were cheerful and good, but I thought it was far to go to the seat and take the goods. I would like to sit in my favorite seat in the morning and eat it freely. I was guided to the far seat 1. It was free to drink, but it was troublesome that I had to go to take it on purpose. In Hokuriku, I called the employee and brought it. If you are doing this way because of the shortage of personnel, you will be patient. Total ⭐ 4. I want to go to study more and enjoy it next time.
Gero Onsen Fugaku
4.4/537 Reviews
It was the best healing time I've had in a long time. The rice was delicious and the Hida beef was really great. It was disappointing that many Gero Onsen stores were not open. The hot spring water was by far the best. I felt soft for a week after my visit! I took the train to go and the bus to come back, and the bus fare was paid at the hot spring! Hot springs are truly healing!!! What was a bit disappointing was that the open-air bath could only be used from 6:30 to 9:30 in the morning, but it was a fun hot spring trip!!
Sasara Gero Hot Springs
4.2/534 Reviews
The most humane hotel I have ever stayed in. Very traditional Japanese style tatami hotel. The staff of the family business is very old and meticulous, and all kinds of snacks. There are public and private hot springs, very comfortable. In particular, I recommend the 700-year-old Japanese cypress made from the largest single tree stump in the United States. It is very creative. highly recommended. The breakfast is customized in a private mode, and the sample is not repeated every day. The only flaw is that the rooms are scattered.
Gero Royalhotel Miyabitei

It is conveniently located along the river. There is a dedicated parking lot not on the premises but a little further away. If you go up the road between the parking lot and the main building, there is a souvenir street, which is convenient. The facilities themselves are quite old, but everything was well maintained and I was able to use it without any complaints. Mr. Nakai was a young and cute person from Myanmar and I had a good impression. Most of the other staff seemed to be foreigners, but they are not dissatisfied and their language is pretty solid. The relatively steep aluminum stairs in the large public bath are a bit scary, but the view from the open-air bath is nice. There are 6 bathtubs for one person in the open-air bath that is replaced the next day? (I think it was). The only thing I'm worried about is that the amount of each faucet is small and the water pressure is low. You have to press 4 to 5 times to fill the bucket, and the water pressure in the shower was not enough for me, who likes strong water pressure. The food was strangely abundant and did not look luxurious, and the seasoning was good and satisfying. Overall I am satisfied.
Bosenkan

Since my child was 1 years old, I decided to travel with 3 family members and stayed there. There was also a kids room for children, and the children were very excited. The room was large and I was able to spend it freely. I was just wondering if the air conditioner in the kids room and the electricity were not on. Also, in the women's bath, the temperature of the children's bath was quite lukewarm and cold, and the fence of the crib was low, so it was difficult because I couldn't put the child in. But I also took an open-air bath in the room and it was a very enjoyable trip. Thank you very much.
