This converted and fully renovated charming property dates back to the 16th century. It is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, nestled in the mountains of La Alpujarra, in the province of Granada. Its surroundings have 4 great hiking and cycling routes. On site there is cycling storage, as well as equipment to repair bikes. During summer you can swim in the communal pool, the largest of the area. This renovated hotel still retains many of the original features and much of its character. There is a living room with a fireplace, board games and a small bar where you can enjoy a cosy evening. The restaurant offers a number of traditional dishes from the local area. There is also a cafe for drinks and tapas with a terrace offering stunning views of the valley and mountains. Absolutely fantastic stay with the best Hotel host ever - Ramon. What a generous hotel manager and person. We were on the Trans Nevada biking trip and Ramon treated us fantastically from arrival. He washed our clothes, greeted us with a glass of cold beer and served us a fantastic breakfast. He was an absolutely brilliant host. Muchisimas gracias Don Ramon. Lo pasamos genial.

Some of the best hotel accommodation experiences I've had this summer. The rooms are spotless, the price more than fair, and the food excellent. However, what really makes the place is the owner. Ramon is friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for his guests. Highly recommended.

Probably the best hotel experience of my life. We did not book this hotel directly. We were with a local Spaniard, who recommended this hotel and we were so pleased. The accommodations and the location are perfect. The room is very big with a suite and a very modern and updated bathroom. There is an outdoor terrace which is quite large and gives a complete view of the valley below. The on-site restaurant is unbelievable. The owner and chef and courier and all around wonderful person is Ramon Vera. He makes this hotel exceptional!!! He could not be more accommodating, or helpful or friendly. He is willing to make breakfast or lunch or dinner or tapas at any time of day. He practically runs to the kitchen to get something for you. He personally washed our clothes for us and helped us with some paperwork we had to print out and return to the United States. He personally drove me to a local bodega, and I had a private wine tasting. Amazing! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Limpio, atencion de Ramon esplendida, muy atento, desayuno ( tostadas de lo que te apetezca) en general muy acogedor y mucha tranquilidad. El entorno paisajistico inpresionante, muy diferente de dia que de noche, dos contrastes dignos de observar y fotografiar

Es un hotel pequeño, de apenas siete habitaciones, en un pueblo de lo que podría llamarse la Alpujarra profunda, lejos del masificado Barranco del Poqueira aunque también menos bonita. Lo regenta Ramón, un personaje sin duda peculiar que en su azarosa vida parece haber hecho absolutamente de todo. Cuando se pone a hablar puede perder la noción del tiempo, pero cuenta historias muy simpáticas y es, por encima de todo, una persona servicial que se preocupa muchísimo del cliente. Nos alojamos en una suite compuesta por una habitación con cama de matrimonio y otra con un sofá-cama dispuesto para nuestra hija. Todo fueron atenciones para que estuviéramos allí como en casa. Por la noche se respira el silencio, y desde luego también se agradece. Y por la mañana sirven un desayuno riquísimo donde el tomate, de una huerta muy cercana, es la estrella. La suite, confortable y bien equipada, y el desayuno para las tres personas costó 80 euros, un precio que me parece más que asequible. Lo recomendaremos e intentaremos volver.

Acudimos a este hotel un grupo de amigos de Cantabria, que realizábamos una de las etapas de III edición de TransAndalus ( "BTT La Robleda"). Fuimos recibidos por el gerente Ramón, con una enorme amabilidad, profesionalidad simpatía y trato familiar, así como su disposición para darnos todo tipo de información, referencias y ayuda relacionado con la ruta, También nos proporcionó resguardo seguro de las bicicletas en instalaciones del hotel. Instalaciones muy bien cuidadas, limpias y cómodas. Cena y desayunos excelentes, muy bien servidas por su colaborador Juan, que también nos deleitó con una charla amigable, sobre su amistad y colaboración con Ramón. También nos lavaron la ropa, que estaba perfectamente preparada al día siguiente, a la hora de partida. Totalmente recomendable, por su magnifica relación calidad precio.
