I must say that the overall service quality and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding… as I was travelling with my wife & daughter, the front desk staff ( named Yan) was very thoughtful and attentive. I requested for a rope for my daughter and Ms Yan also brought me baby slippers & toothbrush which was a pleasant surprise… I would surely book this place again for my upcoming trip to Guangzhou later this year

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

I stayed here from 19/12 - 23/12, overall it was a pleasant experience. When I first booked it, it was for the location as it was near the metro station and opposite the hotel is a supermarket, similar to Giant at Tampines if you know. There were a lot of food places near the hotel but if you're lazy to go, just order delivery lol. The staff here are friendly, efficient and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel room is good, except the bathroom may be a little too old? I think it's fine to be honest, not that I mind it a lot. Plus point! Their laundry room is quite nice, they provide detergent powder, liquid detergent. They have dryer and the washing machine, you can also hang dry if you don't like dryer. The only thing that I have to complain is that the hotel location is not the most ideal for ordering cars or taking taxis but once you are used to Guangzhou, it shouldn't be a problem. Overall, pleasant stay and will come back again if I visit Guangzhou again.

The hotel is warm, hygienic and clean, and the facilities are also available (a hair dryer would be better). The breakfast has local characteristics. Although there are not many varieties, it can meet the needs. A suggestion for improvement is that millet porridge or red bean porridge is sweet. Can it be made light? Put a little sugar next to it to get the best of both worlds.

The hotel is quite affordable and accessible as it’s in the busy center of Sanyuanli Guangzhou and it’s very convenient. It’s close to the subway and can easily get a taxi or car ride. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean too. The room we stayed in the first two nights was small, quite tight but the room we moved to for the last two nights was big and the bathroom was huge, so spacious. The breakfast was a fair Chinese food, dry noodles, eggs, sweet potatoes, boiled corn, porridge, and baozi or jiaozi. However, the food was cold, no microwave in the hotel to heat up food and no drinks (milk or juice) while eating. In all, I can recommend this hotel for stay.

Check-in was smooth and fast. We were upgraded to a newly renovated room. It’s so spacious and comfortable. It is just a min walk away from the Sanyuali MTR Station which makes travelling around the city so convenient. Conceirge staff was all very helpful and always ready to assist. They’re always smiling and greet guests politely at the lift lobby. We stayed for three nights and was pleasantly surprised with complimentary breakfasts for our last day. We requested for a late check up as our flight was very late, 小孜孜 was so kind and accommodating to let us rest in the room till 4pm. Special and commendations and thanks to 小孜孜. He’s a real gem to Atour Hotel.

The hotel is fairly new. Location is excellent. There are wholesale markets all are the hotel for bags & luggages. Fast food chains like Burger King, Pizza Hut, and McDonald’s all within close vicinity. The front desk staffs are very courteous and speaks English. The breakfast was ok consists of both local and continental. My flight arrived early at 6am and since rooms were able, I was able to check in at 10am without additional charges. The only drawback about the hotel that there are no safe lockers in rooms. Other than that I had a perfect stay at this hotel. Next time when I come back to Guangzhou, I would definitely stay here again.

I haven’t been back to Guangzhou for a long time. I miss this hotel very much. It has been renovated a lot. The breakfast in the restaurant on the second floor is various. There are enthusiastic staff in the front hall, a good-looking guy and a beautiful girl. The guest rooms are full of enthusiasm. Sister, the room is still as clean and tidy as before, and there is a new laundry room, and the washing machine also has a drying function, so you don't have to worry about the clothes not drying for several days. Love this hotel. Facilities: Laundry room, quick wash, spin and dry in one Hygiene: Clean and tidy, equipped with disposable toilet seat covers and disposable bathtub bags. I went to Guangzhou for a week on a business trip. I chose this hotel until two o'clock in the middle of the night. The facts proved that it was not a waste of my efforts. There are all kinds of delicious food within one kilometer nearby. It’s a bit good to go out. There is Tao Taoju across the road. I have eaten these few days... Finally , The hotel's hygiene is very good. Although the facilities are relatively old, the sanitation is good and the bathtub is very clean. In short, at this price, what else is required to find such a good hotel in this location in Guangzhou? Called to praise the little brother Huang Depei at the front desk for helping with late check-out. In fact, all the service staff in this hotel are very nice, take the trouble to answer our questions and recommend delicious food around.

The location of the hotel is very good. Every time I come to Yuexiu District, I choose this hotel first and foremost. It is very cost-effective. The rooms are very clean and well-done. There are also parking spaces. The service attitude at the front desk is also very good and welcoming. Check-in is very fast and check-out is very fast. It was free of charge and no deposit required. The mattress was moderately soft and hard and very comfortable to sleep on. The bedsheets were neatly laid out.
