Located at the Peninsula with stunning views. All the activities are fun and family-friendly. What a pleasant stay.

Nice but too expensive!

The overall experience was great, from arrival to departure. The entire team was wonderful. I would especially like to mention: - Rafaela from the pool, who was warm and welcoming, ensuring my time there was always enjoyable. - Santos, who made our breakfast amazing each morning. - Maria from concierge, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak with. - Freddy and Adolfo, our dinner servers, who were incredibly attentive and provided superb service. - Christopher, who hosted the rum tasting, made the experience engaging and fun by explaining all the rums exceptionally well. - Randy, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience throughout our stay; I can't thank him enough for his hospitality. There are many more names I’m forgetting, but I want to thank the entire team for making such a special moment for me and my family even better with all their genuine care. Additionally, from the amazing staff the hotel has the best location to enjoy a relaxing time by either one of the two beaches and a wide selection of activities to enjoy during your stay. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend anyone visiting Costa Rica to stay with you.

My wife and I stayed here 20 years ago, when the property was new and the Papagayo Peninsula was just being developed. I thought it was the nicest hotel I had ever seen. We just returned for the last few days of our family CR tour. Papagayo Peninsula is now much more developed, with amenities like paved roads. The hotel has been remodeled and expanded substantially. We’ve also seen a few additional properties with years of travel. It’s still the nicest hotel I have ever seen. Staff are amazing, the beaches are perfect, and the experience for our family was excellent. There are many other experiences and places to see in this amazing country, but this property is special.

Amazing place and great people. It was just enjoyable, relaxing, and easy to get around and easy to ask what we needed. We brought 2 young kids and they enjoyed every minute! Probably top hotel and top places to go. The sand was soft and the pools were so fun! Only complaint was having to leave and go back home.... I highly recommend exploring all CR has to offer beyond the resort. We used nomadtourscr to book two incredible adventures: a full day trip zip lining, river tubing, hike to a private cave and waterfall, and horseback riding. The transport and amazing driver, carlos, made the day so fun and we learned so much about CR on the 2 hour drive. GABRIEL also booked us for surf lessons 40 minutes away in Tamarindo, which was 1000% worth it! Amazing little surf town with cute bars, shops and restaurants. Can’t say enough good things about him and his network of providers and their commitment to making the excursions special.

Just enjoyed 4 days at this amazing property. We love Four Seasons and this is my 7th Four Seasons that I have stayed at and the service is so consistent they always go above and beyond to make you feel special. Highlights of this trip if you are on a romantic trip splurge for private pool Cindy will make your day she is amazing. Food is fantastic at all the restaurants. All the individuals we interacted with were amazing love all the bartenders at Anejo. It’s also the small touches I was reading a book and didn’t have a bookmark and one was put in my room at turn down service. You are paying a premium and you get what you pay for with these amazing people who seem to love what they do. Also lots to do if you are in search of activities.

. The service was divine, making the overall experience very nice. They took care of every detail. Spa is wonderful and people are always happy and with a smile. One of my favorite parts was all of the animals that we saw on the property. Watching the monkeys in the trees was a once in a lifetime experience that we loved. We also saw lots of iguanas and birds on the property. We went on an excursion for a waterfall experience with swimming and a hike. It was amazing! We planned it through nomadtourscr. Gabriel was very accommodating and knowledgeable. My son wasn’t feeling the day we were supposed to go and we had to cancel a couple of hours before the excursion and Gabriel did not charge us. Fortunately we were able to go two days later and it was the best part of our vacation. I would highly recommend doing in an excursion through Gabriel. The transportation and everything he arranged was right on schedule and our guide was wonderful as well. Thank you for a wonderful vacation four season and nomad, we will be back!

Don’t get me wrong. Costa Rica is beautiful! The locals are great! But this hotel is definitely not for couples. First of all, they have three swimming pools they advertise. Two of which are only 3 feet deep. That’s not gonna do any good for adults! Especially if you like to swim. They do have an adult only pool, which is very small and not free. If you wanna go to the adult pool, it’s $75 per person per day. Otherwise you’ll be content sitting at the 3 foot pool, listening to kids scream. Of course the beach is beautiful. We quickly learned if we wanted to be by water we had to go to the beach only. You do have to keep an eye on your belongings as the monkeys claim down from the trees and try to steal your stuff. Also a big note on this place is they do not hardly any American food. They mainly serve foreign food like Thai and Turkish. I didn’t see any local Costa Rican food serve there. I was excited to have beans and rice and didn’t see it on the menu. So the question is what I go back to this place ever again. That’s a big NO! But yes, I would definitely go to Costa Rica again!

Great family vacation in Guanacaste Very nice resort on the beach with great service, good food and a gorgeous location. All the wildlife walking around the grounds made it extra fun. Did several tours with Nomadtourscr, Buena Vista Adventure, La leona water fall,Sloth tour and Fishing.. The prices are better than the hotel. The vehicles are new and clean. gabriel was super responsive and was able to accommodate..We highly recommend this resort and Nomad for your excursions to the best places!!!
