Atour Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Elephant Trunk Hill)

The front desk staff greeted me with a bright smile and enthusiastic guidance. Stepping into the room, the cozy decor immediately made me feel relaxed. Lying on the bed, it was as soft as a gentle embrace. The cleaning staff were quiet during their work and even asked if I had rested well, which showed me that good service can truly bring the warmth of home and lift your spirits. I was a bit worried about not adapting well during my first stay at this hotel, but now, every memory of it is wonderful. The breakfast spread was as rich as a food market, and the room was as peaceful as a secluded paradise. The staff always had a smile in their eyes, helped with luggage, and recommended attractions – the experience was simply superb!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. My room was spotless, with great ventilation and plenty of natural light, and the bed was so comfortable I slept soundly. The staff were all polite, attentive, and incredibly efficient. The location is fantastic! It's right on a shopping street and very close to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes cruise pier, making it super central and convenient. Despite being in such a busy area, it's not noisy at all, and the soundproofing in the hotel is excellent. What pleasantly surprised me was the wide variety of breakfast options. This was my first time staying at an Atour hotel, and I honestly think it's better than many international 4-star brands I've stayed at.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It's really close to the attractions, and there's a pedestrian street right downstairs, so you can go shopping and grab a bite anytime. A perfect choice!

Location: It's right on the busiest pedestrian street, just a few minutes' walk to Qiu Fu Rice Noodles and a few minutes to Elephant Trunk Hill Gate 3. The location is excellent! Surprisingly, the pedestrian street becomes completely quiet after shops close at night. Overall, the location is highly recommended. Cleanliness: So much dust! I wonder if this room hasn't been occupied for a long time? There was dust everywhere, a layer of it on the toiletries box and the door. Facilities: Quite old and basic. The air in the room wasn't good; there was a damp, musty smell. Service: Atour's service is, as expected, excellent. Summary: The brand and location are overpriced. 800 a day during May Day holiday is not worth it. For the same price, the Sheraton next door would definitely be a better choice, at least the room would be bigger.
