View from room is beautiful, big bathtub, and ample space for luggage. We took the shuttle service to Zhong Yang Da Jie and back. Worth the price we paid. First, I want to thank the staff from the hotel. Peter from the front desk was really helpful, the people working in the restaurant and the housekeeping ladies in my floor (17). The hotel is very modern but the location is tricky. To get there you must ride a cab. I tried to walk from the nearest Metro station (Shimao Ave) but it is over 2 kilometers and with temperatures average -22 wasn't that pleasant. The facilities like the spa and swimming pool were open only with a hand full of guests. The restaurant was open but only as room service. The food wasn't bad at all, a bit on the pricey side but there were not other options. My biggest disappoin**ent was the room. The closet is located in the room's hall and the design is so poor it doesn't even have drawers to unpack the suitcases. When you open the closet you are really blocking the hall. Near the hotel there is literally no place to go to have a coffee. The nearest place is the MIXC mall that has a Starbucks but you need to take a cab to get there (5-7minutes ride). To get to the city, I took DiDis and rode the metro. The Metro system is AMAZING. You can use other Metro cards (I used my card from Shanghai) It is extremely cheap (4 to 6 RMB) per ride

The staff were very friendly and courteous. The facilities were adequate, though an earlier breakfast would have been nice for ease of getting to other areas of the city early. We did not have the breakfast each day because of this, but when we did the selection was decent. The gym was delightful as the weather was cold for outside exercise. It's hours were suitable for early and later workouts (6:30am - 9:30pm). The room was a highlight as it was spacious, clean, quiet, and well maintained. It was warm enough for cold winter nights, and comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Harbin. It is about 13 km from many of the main sights of Harbin, but that allows for some distance from the busyness in the festival times.

This is a well designed hotel and had everything I needed for my stay in Harbin. My room was comfortable, and I appreciated the bottles of water provided every day. The humidifier in the room helped lessen the effect of the air conditioning, which can be drying when staying for a while. The hotel also provides very useful extras such as alcohol wipes in the room everyday. I had food delivered to my room via robot which was interesting! The only thing I missed in my room was a fridge and they only provided tea and not coffee in the room. The facilities at the hotel are good, I used the gym which is small but provides weights, a running machine, mats, resistance bands etc. There is also a laundry room which is well stocked with detergent, softener and disinfectant as well as tumble dryers and ironing facilities. The hotel is only a short walk or drive from a big mall if you need to go to the supermarket or grab a coffee at Starbucks.
